Photosmart C3100 series error state

I have been using HP Photosmart C3100series with HP Pavilion 64-bit windows 7 for a while.

I do not change one any of these

About 2 weeks ago the printer has delivered a message of error status. I can't use the scanner either.

I have disconnected all the cables, re-plugged, closed printer or computer... several times. With no result

    I understand the frustration you are experiencing. It seems that the printer is stuck in an error state or there is a blockage in the ADF (ADF).

Reconnect the power cable to the output of the printer and the wall, and not a surge protector. This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

    I bought a new Hp computer a few years back with windows installed 8.1 but despite trying all the possibilities

    I still can't HP for my Hp Solution Center while a printer hp support could not help saying that I have a conflict of program.

    Me for long time now, I wonder if something has changed to help me I have looked through the forum and the

    one that I was thinking can help is to know the Printer Wizard, but even that escapes me so maybe someone out there can be a solution.

    You're no harm at all, in fact, I appreciate your patience and perseverance, a lot more than you know!

    8.1 for Windows is designed to be slightly different from that of Windows 8, it appears the restoration forced you in the upgrade and I didn't know it would be. A I knew, I would have told you it's possible and you could decide whether you want to continue.  I myself 8.1 and like you I enjoyed to have the Windows key in the lower left corner which allowed me to make the navigation easier. I installed what is called the classic interface.

    Classic Shell™ is a free software that allows you to improve your productivity, improves the ease of use of Windows and allows you to use the computer as you like it. The main features are:

    • Highly customizable start menu with several styles and skins
    • Quick access to recent programs, frequently used or pinned
    • Find programs, settings, files and documents

    I have a printer HP Laserjet 4000 Series PCL5 TN which worked beautifully "black only" for many years. A recent update (Windows 10:12 / 22/15) seemed to put the printer in the "printer error state", when you try to print a simple document. It has been my default printer for a long time. I followed the suggestions of printer "windows 10", that is, unplug and plug - check cable (not USB) connections, remove the printer from the list of print devices /, reinstall drivers HP for Windows 10 (following suggestions from HP on HP site) - nothing seems to work. It has a network cable connection, but it is directly connected to my computer, no other computers are connected. See screen capture below. I even did a "recovery" of before 12/22! Any suggestions?     To restore the driver, you can follow the steps below:

    • Press Windows + R on the desktop screen.
    • Type devmgmt.msc and press ENTER.
    • Expand the printer drivers and do a right-click on the driver and select Properties.
    • Go to the driver tab and click driver RollBack.

    Can I assume that you use a parallel cable to connect the printer to the computer.  If you do this is a known problem that can be solved.  Go to Device Manager and then click ports.  Double-click the lpt for the printer port, and then click on device settings at the top.  Change the default setting of the middle box checked in the box below to use any available interruption. I would also check the legacy down.  If necessary, turn the computer off and then turn it back on, but most of the time this solves the problem without a reboot.

    My printer is in an error state, but after doing the thing does unplug, I can now print the test print.     I don't know if mine is a product of the company. I have not used the networking with him.

    Recently, when I try to print a document, I get the message "error on HP LaserJet printing" or "printer is in an error state." The printer prints a page of configuration but does not print any document or test page.

  • Do not print to the printer HP Photosmart 8200 series

    My HP Photosmart 8230 printer will not print. I used it very satisfatorially for 7 years. Recently, I had the same problem and after trying many suggestions of help without success subsequently discovered the problem was simply caused by a tick against printing offline in the box the printer queue. Again, I found printing enabled offline several times (not all) but remove the tick now does not correct the problem.

    I use Windows 7. HP Photosmart 8200 Series box shows the queue of work of printing normally, but with the error - printing under the State next to a print job. What is the error?

    Main menu > tools > print sample page the printer produces a normal sample of page indicating any fault in the printer.

    Seems that the problem is a lack of connection between my PC and the printer such as would be caused by the activation of printing offline in Windows 7 but not corrected by removing the tick as descrobed above.

    Any help would be welcome.

    The problem has been resolved by ininstalling and reinstall my HP Photosmart 8230. Much simpler today that when I bought my printer 8 years ago.

    I did some research on these errors and found that they can be caused by cables that are not properly connected, corrupt, drivers, incompatible drivers, the printer settings, missing updates and problems with your printer.     I have a 5740 which is defined as a remote wireless printer by itself in my home network.

    Recently, I received the message 'printer is in an error state' when I press print and found out the print job will be lance automatically, only after I turned the printer off and restarted. What happened several times. I tried to use HP & Doc Scan printing, but this did not help.

    Appreciate your advice on the following points: -.

    1. What is the cause for this?

    2. connecting the printer via the USB port on my HP All in one PC would help eliminate this recurring issue?

    3. If Yes, should I uninstall the printer software first?

    4. always print wireless from my laptop or mobile devices when the printer is connected via a cable to my PC?

    What do I have to uninstall and reinstall the software for printing these devices as well?

    5. when I reinstalled the software, it come a last step where it will ask me to register so far HP ink. As I have already registered for the program, what should I do to allow me to complete the installation of the software without duplicating a new series of HP ink instant registration?

    Thanks for joining the Forums of HP Support for a solution to your printer problem.

    I understand that you use a HP Officejet 5740 e-all-in-one printer with a Windows 10 computer and you need to restart the printer to clear a State of 'error', so the printer will print. I would like to help with that.

    There are also a few different reasons why something like this can happen. It could possibly be network or firewall related, or maybe even related software.

    I would like to begin by downloading and running the tool HP Print and Scan Doctor to check the installed printer software. This tool can diagnose and solve many problems of printing software and printer.

    You can also check to make sure that the printer firmware is up-to-date. On the Control Panel Home screen controle control printer, drag your finger from right to left on the screen and select Setup. In the menu select Maintenance of the printerconfiguration, and then select update of the printer, and then look for the updates of the printer.

    If the printer doesn't have the printing problem with PC and not with cell phones and mobile devices, you can try following the steps described in this document of support - printer is offline (Windows).

    If you plan to use a USB between PC and the printer connection, you do not need to uninstall the software, you just remove the printer devices and printers on the computer and connect the USB cable.

    You can always the printer wirelessly with other devices if you have a computer with a USB cable.

    Finally, you need not re-register with the HP Instant ink. You can close the windows when they open after you have installed the software.

    I uninstalled the HP 6520; didn't uninstall errors. [do not remember if I uninstalled with a 6520 uninstall exe or if I did it with Windows 10 uninstall programs.]  Now, every time I start my PC, I get an Error Message window indicating "there was a problem starting c:\Program HP HP Photosmart 6520 series\bin\HPStatusBL.dll the specified module could not be found."

    I have a Photosmart C7250 which is attached to my router via LAN as a network printer and works as it should.

    I would like to get rid of the Photosmart missing dll error, but, not at the expense of ruining the c7250.

    The 6520 file is missing, the 6520 has been correctly removed from devices and printers.  Why my PC is still trying to load a dll missing at startup after that the 6520 6520 was supposed to be uninstalled?

    How can I fix the error starting 6520 without spoiling the C7250?

    Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! I see from your HP Officejet 6520 uninstalling you now this error message ' there was a problem starting C:\program HP HP Deskjet 1510 series\bin\HPStatusBL.dll .

    " The specified module could not be found ' at startup.

    After some research, I was able to find this solution on Forums, see below:

    For Windows 10 publication RunDLL error (HPStatusBL.dll) check this site:

    (Activate prior the hidden files and folders)

    C:\Users\(your user name) \AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

    (Maybe depending on who has installed the software, see other users if you do not do so in your profile)

    Remove the shortcut that HP does not decently cleanup during uninstall:

    Monitor alerts of ink - HP xxxxxxxxxx -Source

    Please provide the full error message.  Also, make sure that you typed correctly - are you sure that the CLSID does not stop with "46" rather than simply "6"?

    You can also follow the steps in the following article to clean things up and try again: One Article

    • Make sure that you install the printer by using a user account with "computer administrator" privileges (if you are not sure, click Start > Control Panel > accounts of users, under the name of each account will be "Computer administrator" or "Limited account").
    • Do not connect the printer to the computer until you are prompted to do so.
