Photosmart C510 c510 estn: printer will not work little matter what I do

Very frustracted, the printer ran out of ink, I replaced all the cartridges and I continue to receive messages that the ink is required. Also the ink Error Message and the Tablet keeps asking me to remove the cartridges and clean the head I did several times. Turn turn off/on the printer, including a number of times.

    receive a new laserjet MFP M127FW and so far, everything works except eprint.

    IF I can get it to turn on, it only after that I reboot (power cycle) of the printer.

    also restore the default of the LCD or web GUI does nothing... nothing changed... and I am never presented with the initial start-up, as one might expect.

    is there a way to force the printer to one out of the box State serving anything and everything back to a factory State? (where I have to go through the initial Setup again?

    wightgal, you say everything works well now for you? If this isn't the case, I would suggest that you download Firefox from http://www.firefox.com and reinstall to make sure that you have a reliable installation.

    Thank you for keeping us posted on the State of the question.

    I see there is that the antivirus installed on the computer could not detect infections. To ensure that the computer is clean, we can run a thorough scan using Windows Defender in offline mode.

    I suggest to download Windows Defender Beta offline to a flash drive, CD, DVD or USB and then perform the steps.

    The articles explain how to create a disk and run the scan.

    NOTE: the program must not not to be run / run from the office.

    With Windows XP, uninstall an update from start > settings > Control Panel > recent updates (check the "Show updates" box at the top of the page and select sort by name) should be at the bottom of the list. Right-click the update that you want to remove.

    * But *... It is not a good idea to install the security updates. You should try to solve the problem without uninstalling the updates.

    Have set up the printer on Windows 7, 64-bit network.  The computer knows all the drivers installed.  When we hit print it does nothing, the printing doc is not in the queue, it disappears.  I have another computer on the network running Windows 7, 32 bit and it works fine.  None of the HP help stuff works.  I suggest that HP is an incompetent organization... cannot be anything else if they cannot sell a printer working or may be troubleshooting performed.

    We have installed the disk drivers, download and with the help of Windows.  We have all uninstalled and tried again.  Always the same, does not work.

    Except if it can be fixed, will be back this weekend.

    BTW, my son is a COMPUTER expert and spent 4 hours working on it... HP has him $ 400 to $ 100 hourly billing rate.

    Thanks for the link, but I called HP support and they have uploaded a revised version of the software and it works now.  The strange think is that it is not available (allegedly)... just strange to me that they sell something that does not work on a 2 year old computer.

    The software is installed by the Apple updates. I would say to delete the printer in the window print and scan, then run the Apple updates. HP printers - installing a printer driver Mac using Apple Software Update.

    How is the printer connected? (USB, Ethernet, WiFi)

    I have a HP laserjet P1005 printer, whose yeaterday was work happliy in window 8. I downloaded 8.1 last night and the printer no longer works!

    With the window of printer status open (through the control panal windows) the details of the document are displayed briefly when you click on the button print. Nothing happens at the end of the printer. Theres nothing wrong with the printer as I can use it on a laptop without problem.

    Driver Hp downloads link it "seem" a driver for the 8.1 but I think it's only version 8.0 wrongly labeled.

    I am sick to death with HP. It took them more than 1 year to untangle a driver for Windows 8, and it blocks as soon as Microsoft tweek their BONES.

    Does anyone have any ideas how this can be solved? HP seem to be abandoned as a fundamental value customer - I have not buy one of their products again.

    Hi again - finally got it works!

    I downloaded the software from the link... again. Still no joy

    Remove the printer from the computer devices. Then downloaded the link... again. The computer had the printer appears as a device.

    Then...

    I started again from scratch:

    Reinstalled the 'original' driver from the boot disk. (the driver from the link above must have still been present).

    Printer on stream.

    Very happy.

    Do not connect the printer to the computer with the usb cable. Try to uninstall all Lexmark software from your computer correctly by clicking on the Windows logo start menu > programs > Lexmark Series folder > tools > uninstall. Restart the pc. Also, check if your Windows 7 is running on the operating system 32-bit or 64-bit by clicking on the Windows logo start menu > right-click on computer > properties.

    Now, there is no driver Lexmark X 8350 specific for Windows 7, however, the Vista driver works. For the software, go to this link: http://bit.ly/cK7w07 (for 32 - bit) or this link: http://bit.ly/9pAWzM (for 64 - bit). Download and install the software. Follow the instructions.
