  I have just updated my OS to Vista Business Professional for Windws 7 Ultimate and now device not found when I try to use the center of Soluton HP.   I have Windows Vista.   Have tried to remove the center of solution before.  Always says it could damage other programs.  So don't do it.

  Hello louielou581.  I understand that you're curious what applications you can safely remove.

  I suggest that you keep HP Imaging Device function (it is your scanner), HP's OCR software (it's also for scanning), Deskjet, Officejet, PSC, and HP Photosmart All-in-one-softwware, HP, HP Product Detection and update HP Solution Center.

  The rest of the software should not be required and you should be able to remove it safely.  If you have any questions about the specifics of the software please do not hesitate to ask.

• HP psc photosmart 2410: align ink cartridges

  I replaced the cartridge three-color No. 57 and the display showed ' align the print cartridges - Press OK to print the Page align.

  I pressed 'OK' and a page was fueled and the printer made looks like fine print, 'impression' was displayed and then he stopped and the same "Align" message was displayed.  I went to this cycle several times and was never able to print an alignment page.  I can't get rid of the message and therefore I can't use other functions; scan, fax or copy.  I can always print pages of the computer, however.  Does anyone know how to reset or escape from this situation?  Help, please.  Thank you.

  I understand that you are having problems with your HP PSC 2410 Photosmart all-in-one printer for the replacement of the tri color cartridge. Please use the following document to solve the problem and I would like to know the results of your efforts; Error message: align the print cartridges, press OK to print Align Page.

• HP PSC 2410 Photosmart all-in-one printer SLOW printing

  All of a sudden my HP PSC 2410 Photosmart all-in-one printer has started printing very, very, very slowly. If at all. It took almost 30 minutes (1/2 hour) to print only 1 page word document. I am on Windows 7 OS.

  Dialogue problems says everything is fine. An attempt to print a test page was even worse. He printed only the top 1/4 of the race and that it was illegible.

  I ran CrapCleaner, Norton full scan and I was able to print for about a day before the problem returns.

  Help!

  I also had problems with copy. I noticed that the missing parts were color text or photos. There was no indication that the Tricolor cartridge was low or empty, but I replaced it in any case and VOILA... print is returned to normal and fine everyting.

  I would have thought there would be some am indicator when the cartridge is low, but it was not.

  I recently bought a new HP Envy 7640e wireless printer all-in-one to replace my printer hp psc 2410xi photosmart all-in-one, who was 10 years old and had a non repairable hardware problem.

  Before you install the new printer of 7540e of envy, I want to uninstall/remove the non-working 2410xi photosmart...

  Please let know us where I can find instructions like how HP uninstall/remove the non-working 2410xi photosmart.

  Hello

  For Windows 7, the frivers were already included in Windows, and there is therefore no software to remove.

  In the control panel select devices and sweepers,

  PSC 2410 icon right-click and select remove device, then you should be good to go and install your new printer.

  I moved, lost the installation disc for my PRINTER ALL-IN-ONE of HP 1210 PSC.  Went to HP site & can only find the basic driver Installation.  I need the driver Installation complete which includes the HP Photosmart Software Suite.  Can't find anywhere.  Searched for days.  I love this printer, it is such a little large workhorse & ink cartridges are also affordable that I hate to give it up.    I shall be patiently wait & pray for the right person to help me get my printer works as before.  Best regards, AuntieBea

  I've done other snooping today & found out you can't get the full HP PhotoSmart downlooad.  Am went on YouTube & got instructions to go on apps & getting scanner Windows or HP.  Problem solved.  Thanks to all who read my question.

• HP psc 2510 photosmart all-in -: inactive printer

  I tried emailing customer without success.

  All I want is for my printer to work!
  It is an all-in-one psc photosmart 2510. My OS is Mac 10.7.5.

  The printer accepts apparently jobs but then goes into "idle" mode

  Next to the list of jobs he will say for example:

  Print page 1, 12% complete...
  Idle

  The green light next to the power button flashes.

  Furthermore, above the list of job title will be:

  Printer paused
  Sending data to the printer

  Printer goes offline
  Paused

  If you can advise that would be greatly appreciated.
  Also, if you understand this problem I would be interested to know why it happened.

  I see that your HP PSC 2510 Photosmart all-in - One Printer has problems when printing from your computer Mac OS X 10.7. I would like to help you to solve this problem today. The issue could be caused by one of two things: a driver conflict or USB connectivity problem. Due to the age of your printer HP hasn't released a downloadable Pack of full functionality of software and the driver for your printer from Mac OS X 10.7. In fact, full features drivers have not been published for this model of printer from Mac OS X 10.5. Therefore, you rely solely on a driver package V3.1 update Apple to use your printer on your Mac operating system. Below, I will provide you with some Mac standard troubleshooting to solve the printing problem. Can you please follow all the steps below.

  • Step 1: Resetting the printing system:

  To begin, I will have you reset the printing system on your Mac. Please click herefor instructions on how to perform the reset. When the site opens, follow the steps under "Reset printing in OS X Lion system." This Reset deletes each printer on your Mac. However, it does not uninstall printers. Therefore, if use you other printers on the Mac, once the reset is complete simply make sure printers are attached via a USB cable or connected network and (+) add hide them in. don't add not your HP Photosmart PSC in back at the moment.

  Once the reset is complete, proceed to the next step.

  • Step 2: Uninstall the drivers and software:
  1. On the desktop, double-click the Macintosh HD icon if the Macintosh HD icon is not on the desktop, click the Finder icon in the Dock. Click the Macintosh HD under devices.
  2. Double click on the library folder.
  3. Double click on the Printers folder.
  4. Right-click (or Ctrl + click) File HP and then select place it in the trash.
  5. When you are prompted, type the administrator name and password for the computer, and then click OK.
  6. Wait for authentication.
  7. Double click on the PPDs folder.
  8. Double click on file content .
  9. Double click on file resources .
  10. Make a right click (or Ctrl + click) the name of your printer in the product list and select move to the trash.
  11. When you are prompted, type the administrator name and password for the computer, and then click OK. By clicking OK, all items in your garbage will be permanently deleted from your computer. To remove an item in the Recycle Bin, click on this item to highlight, and then click OK.
  12. Wait for authentication.
  13. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the uninstall.

  • Step 3: Check and repair your Mac disk permissions:
  1. Open Macintosh HD and go to Applications
  2. Go to the Utilities folder
  3. Open disk utility
  4. Select the hard disk volume, you use (usually on the left)
  5. Select verify disk permissions
  6. Once this process is complete, select repair disk permissions
  • Step 4: Manually install the driver Package:

  Please click here to manually download the package from Apple to HP printer v3.1 driversupdate. Once the site opens click on the download button at the top. Follow the instructions on the screen to install the driver package.

   

  • Step 5: Check the Apple updates:
  1. Go to the Apple
  2. Select System Preferences
  3. Select software update
  4. Click update now
  5. Install your available updates
  6. Computer restart
  • Step 6: Add the device:
    

  1. click on the menu of Apple , then Preferences System.

  2. click on Print & Scan and then check if the name of your printer appears in the printer list.

  3. click on the name of your printer, click the sign minus (), then remove the printer.

  4. click on the plus sign (), click Add a printer or a Scanner, click the name of your printer.

  5. click on the area of use or with the help of Print and then select the name of your printer on the shortcut menu. Ensure that the PSC Photosmart driver is selected.

  

  6. click Add to add the printer to the list.

  Once installed, test printing in order to confirm that the problem has been resolved. Should print now work properly, Apple likely driver update became corrupt and created problems of printing.

• Unit Auto-duplex of PSC 2410 Photosmart all-in-one

  I bought a new computer that uses 7 (64 bit) of Windows operating system. I have attached a PSC 2410 Photosmart all-in-one printer. The auto-duplex feature is no longer available, manual duplex printing is available. When this printer was attached to the previous auto-duplex printer unit funtioned perfectly. Only change was to the old unattach & reattach again.

  This problem can be resolved or do I use the manual funtion?

  The duplexer must be activated as described in the "Vista/Wixndows 7 Duplex Printing Troubleshooting Guide".

  Hello - I am trying to help a friend, and I'd like YOUR help!  :-)

  Printer: HP PhotoSmart PSC 2410

  System: Windows Vista (G - help us)

  PROBLEMS:

  1. it seems that since Vista was installed on XP (a year ago) the printer will not print or copy in B & W

  One exception - unit would BE printing when printing from the program of electronic messaging - but nothing else!

  (I ran the printer head cleaning and re-alignments unit and clean the cartridge by hand - it seems in good condition)

  (I got tones of gray when you print the page example of Unity)

  -Could there be a connection with the installation of Vista, as it seems?

  -What else could prevent B & W print and copy on this unit?

  2. the analysis unit also is more - unit printer says to set up the printer on the computer software, but, obviously, it isn't any Vista software for the printer.

  3. my friend tried to reinstall XP drivers - which seems to have wiped out the Vista drivers - when I try to have Vista restores the drivers, it fails to do anything!

  (I unplug the printer, shut down printer, restart Vista, restart the printer, connect printer--> nothing happens.)

  There's something else I should do - why aren't installing Vista drivers?

  -Are there something short of reinstalling Vista, can I do to get generic drivers for Vista working again?

  Y at - THERE * ANY * DRIVER - HP or third-party THAT WILL GET A VISTA SYSTEM WORKING WITH THIS DEVICE?

  OK - I've had more time to return to the House of my friend today to solve this problem.

  The two main symptoms:

  (1) do not copy

  (2) do not print with the exception of a web browser

  BOTH are down to a bad toner B & W cartridge.

  The thing was fairly new, and the ink was still pretty busy. I had cleaned the heads and ink flowed easily from the cartridge - maybe it was the oxidation of the contacts or broken connectivity.

  The * full * lack of impression after an attempt to install XP drivers was not related to this attempt, but the USB cable on the device after loosening.

  Once the USB cable is properly plugged in and installed a new black cartridge, of the test pages worked, copy worked at B & W color and printing applications worked.

  FINALLY - functions of scanner was enabled using VueScan ($40).

  THUS, in addition to the fax functions (I don't have time too check and that my friend does not use), this of HP PSC Photosmart 2410 is now fully functional.

  Isn't * that that HP get away for failing to update the drivers for units like this - they still let us lower notes in this regard, for this unit.

• Not able to find driver Win 7 (64 bit) for printer "hp psc 2410 photosmart all-in-one. pls help

  While I insert the printer USB cable to the laptop, it runs the Windows Live Update automatically and fails in the final task, the installation of the driver. It says "hp psc 2400 series - has failed.

  Then I removed the USB cable, removed the device of "devices and printers", reboot the laptop and then tried to load the driver manually. But in the window "install print driver", I could not able to find the driver for my printer ' hp psc 2410 photosmart all-in-one ' for the operating system of Windows 7 Professional (64 bit) under the "HP" manufactured.

  Thank you, Sean. It has not solved the problem. Instead, I got to know that this will work with the 'HP Deskjet 6980 series' pilot and his summer work after I chose that one through the configuration of the local printer.

• My PSC 2410xi photosmart will not print!

  I have a printer HP psc photosmart 2410xi recently received an updated driver to coincide with my recent upgrade to Windows 7 32 bit. I used the Scan doctor who found no errors, I even followed the steps described in the "Windows 7 update does not install the Driver' Troubleshooting section. Everything seems to be connected correctly, even the works of preview before printing, but whenever I print, I get an immediate "error-printing" message.

  Help, please!
