PHP includes - Simple Txt file

I've been playing with using PHP includes / need to fill the content of a page. It would be very useful for all the pages where the content changes often, or eternal sources since I could download the txt files with the same name in a folder and replace existing ones.

In my tests of this problem is that the text gets spread in the content area a single huge block with no paragraph separations. The original txt file has several separate paragraphs, but it's not the output in design mode or the browser. I checked my CSS as well as for the main content area and are all that I put my padding and styles of police, margins.

Does anyone know if there is anything else I should do to solve this problem by using CSS or PHP?

Thank you.

Try surrounding the call include with a div and give the div of this class.
Without seeing the page, it is difficult to say, but I suspect the

class is
"cancellation" with the first

tag in the include file.

  • Windows 7: the search does not find the files that should be, directory is indexed and *.php included on the list of extensions

    Windows 7: search does not find the files that should be. I have indexed directory and *.php included on the list of extensions, but search can't find files for Word searches that I know there are files with these words in them.

    If you're frustrated by research (aka Desktop Search), you are not alone. Click the Start button and type find and click the button 'change the way Windows search'. Now click on the Advanced button and select the tab file types scroll down and find your type of file (in your case .php) and make sure the radio button "index properties and the content of the file" is selected for the file type.

    Out the form by clicking on the OK button, but do not close the form when you click the Advanced button.

    Then, you may need to change the indexing locations. If the folder where your files are located is not known for indexing search, then search is not even bother looking for here (a source of frustration for many users). Maybe your files are located on another drive or partition without the knowledge of the indexing engine. Using the options icon and select/deselect expand, make sure that at least the files of interest are included for the indexed locations. I hope this helps.

  • Can BlackBerry 10 I create new simple text (TXT) file on 10 BB?

    Hello - I am using simple *. TXT files in the DropBox folder to create notes and sync with the computer in Linux (via DropBox).

    I can't find any method to create a new file to plain text (on sd card, dropbox,... file system folder). I can create document in the Docs To Go, but the document is saved as.doc (document ms).

    Edit and resave existing plain text (*.txt) files are pretty simple 'Docs To Go"(no problem).

    A tip?

    I don't see a way to do it. But I searched the text editor in BlackBerry World and got a lot of possibilities. Some look pretty good.

    The code immediately preceding is the code with php feedback form page.

    Since your email is a failure I will assume the rest of your script works.  I'm looking specifically at these lines:

      $process = '../includes/process_mail.inc.php';
        if (file_exists($process) && is_readable($process)) {
            include($process);

    Things that must be confirmed here are that the path is right and it has the appropriate permissions.  Have you tried to delete this statement 'and' in your 'if' and see if those who operate independently.  I have a feeling that if the path is right that the file does not have the appropriate permissions on your server for access global read which would, "is_readable" fail and thus put an end to your script.

    Can you test those and after return?

  • Looking for master files using something other than PHP includes

    Hello-

    Apart from using PHP includes, which would be another technology that I can use that allows me to use file extensions HTML, that if I make a change to a file in the same place (assets/dirname/file name), it updates the pages to load?  It has a user-friendly Linux server and no models or CMS stuff.

    ~ Mike

    I think you have two choices... Includes or models. Why not use includes? Its the right way to go.

  • I am looking for a SIMPLE way to add my robots.txt file

    I read up on this subject. But I wasn't able to do it again.

    I found this:

    You can follow the guidelines of Google to create a robots.txt file and place it in the root of your remote site.

    Once you create a robots.txt like this:

    user-agent: ia_archive

    Disallow: /.

    (1) where do you put 'head labels? Do you need them?

    I would insert it in muse that looks like this

    < head >

    user-agent: ia_archive

    Disallow: /.

    < / head >

    or just put it anywhere inside the 'head' tag

    (2) put the robots.txt file in a folder?

    I've heard this, but it just doesn't seem right.

    (3) OK you have the

    -Properties Page

    -Metadata

    -HTML < head >

    Can I copy and paste my right robot.txt info in there? I don't think I can and make it work. According to the info I found (that I posted above), the robots.txt 'file' you 'place at the root of your remote site.

    (4) where is the 'root of my remote sit?

    How can I find that?

    I read other people having problems with this.

    I thank very you much for any help.

    I thought about it.

  • Filling Panel Photoshop HTML Extension with a txt file entries.

    Hello

    I'm trying to find a way to read in a file of separate txt comma values of a table using javascript, then using the suite to fill an extension in PS CC2015 Panel that I write.

    Examples of entries in the txt file would be something like this:

    0,255,0, polished metal, 255, 255, 255

    77,200,0, Metal satin, 200, 200, 200

    Each entry represents a specific color with a defined material type value.

    The HTML Panel should then be filled with a button for each entry in the array into a table, the function of the buttons would be defined by a few simple extendscript.

    I could just write the HTML/Script to do this, but we need the Panel to update based on the txt file, so we can easily add/remove entries or values to update without having to get the updates for the extension.

    So far, I managed to read the txt file and return the entries in the txt file in a listbox from the code js on the net but it is not quite what I'm after because it only lists entries in a one-dimensional array and returns the set of line, rather than the table separated by commas that I need.

    This whole process in extendscript was fairly simple

    I read that reading txt file in a table that I need will be easily using PHP, but I have no PHP experience and have no idea if it would work even in a panel of Photoshop extended.

    If anyone has the directions on how to return an array with 2 dimensions in javascript that would be great.

    Thank you.

    If you create the file yourself, JSON is often used for such (in fact name is short for Javascript Object Notation). So first create data.json

    [{ "r":0, "g":255, "b":0, material:"Polished Metal", "r2":255, "g2":255 ,"b2":255},
    { "r":77, "g":200, "b":0, material:"Satin Metal", "r2":200, "g2":200 ,"b2":200}]

    Then in Javascript, it's just

    var data = JSON.parse(file_content)
    data[0].g = 120
    data[1].material = "Rusty Metal"
    file_content = JSON.stringify(data) // updated content to be written in file

    If the file is in the current format is not editable probably makes no sense. But learn JSON anyway: tutorial json for beginners learning to program part 1 JavaScript - YouTube

  • PHP includes does not not on 1 page - weird!

    Hello:

    Just noticed the date of copyright to understand working on all pages but one - and even, I copied the code for a good page on the wrong page, with no correction.  Valid green.

    http://www.curlytopdesign.com/terms_of_use.php

    Any ideas?  No biggie, but a bit boring.

    In the file that I have attached, there are a 2 directives 'require once' the footer (and 1 for the left side menu) - one for the bottom menu and one for copyright law, both in the same division did you indicate that creates the conflict?

    No. I deleted the files from my computer, so I can't copy the code in this post without going to worth to download and unzip everything new. However, on this page, you are using require_once() twice for the same copyright script. The years are displayed correctly the first time, but nothing happens the second time because you told PHP doesn't include the script more than once.

    However, would you recommend changing all the 'require_once' to 'include' in all these cases?  I guess I'm not clear when you would more appropriately use the 'require_once' vs 'include '.

    There are four commands that include files: include(), include_once(), require() and require_once(). Understanding means capture the file if you can, but ignore it if it is absent. Need means, that the file is to be used; If it is absent, the web server generates a fatal error. Once in ways at once; do not include the file (or script) if it has already been used on the same page.

    It's for you to decide if you want that page to come to a grinding halt if an include file is missing. The page would probably useless without navigation, if need be sensitive. Miss the date of copyright is less important.

    In addition, if a txt file is not the best route, how does for more security?

    Use a .php file.

  • entry to LabVIEW txt file

    I have a connection to some drives PCI controller card, assistant of DAQNavi running on LabVIEW 2011.

    That's exactly what I'm doing:

    I have a txt file that contains numbers. I want to LabVIEW to open this txt file, read the numbers one by one and their entry for card PCI at time of sampling. example of sample of 100 ms time, read the 10 numbers and give them to PCI card for 1 second.

    Any ideas on that?

    Thank you

    Easy. Put scripture to the servo controller inside a loop for. include a wait function (ms) of 100 ms. table from the outside of the loop wiring to the data entry of the writing inside VI. The tunnel will be automatically autoindex. This means that the data will be recorded a point at a time, every 100 ms up to what each element of the array was written.

    You can add a writing more after the loop to put the servo to a default value before stopping the program.
