Physical schema import

Hi I have a problem

I have 2 diagrams a and b... I connect with a main_user who can see the two diagrams...

I can import it fine using import - then choose the schemas and import...

But when I have the rank has it's like he can't see details... If I create a synonym for tables in schemas under the main_user its fine... But I don't know why he can't distinguish that the tables are in patterns... so a.table_1 b.table_1 etc...

I see 2 physical patterns in the physical layer.

Thank you

you explain what error you are getting?

BTW, check this setting...

go to your connection pool...

    Experts of the ODI,

    I use ODI 11.1.1.7.0 and transfer data to an Oracle database. So far, everything is OK, but...

    I want to reuse my current interfaces for import into different schemas in the same database.

    At the moment all the table data were imported into a single scheme under topology/Physical Architecture / Oracle / Data Server / physical schema I chose the pattern and check the "default."

    If I import now to other patterns (300 different ones), how should I configure the physical schema values for:

    Schema (schema)

    Scheme (scheme of work)

    Default checkbox? (I assume must be deselected)

    On a quick test, I left schema & schema of blank and disabled by default check box. Two interfaces work (one per table), but the third failed (my guess is the way in which the model was reverse engineering has to do with it, but don't know how to fight against it) I know how to debone a model, but if I use a pattern to do the other schemes do not work because ODI will give me a table not found. How do I work around this problem. Here is an example of the error I get after removing the default schema of the physical schema definition.

    ODI-1226: step CON_TY fails after 1 attempt.

    ODI-1240: Flow CON_TY fails during an operation of integration. This flow of charge table target CON_TY.

    ODI-1228: task failed CON_TY (integration) on the ORACLE connection signal target.

    Caused by: java.sql.BatchUpdateException: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist

    Your help is appreciated. Thank you.

    Here's how, to work around the problem of schema change the mask object Local of the physical schema on the server target %SCHEMA.%O OBJECT to % OBJECT in this way the schema is not part of the SQL at all.

    And these are the values that I use in the physical schema definition

    Schema (schema) - undefined

    Scheme (scheme of work) - undefined

    Check box default - select

    Given each user has permissions for objects it is clean and it doesn't have the schema name to reference the object, it works very well.

    You can go to the topology

    In the physical Architecture select technology where the BOSS of BAR of staging is set the and check if at least one of the physical schema is marked as the default value for the root.

  • Confusion between the physical schema definition MSSQL Server

    Hello

    I'm learning ODI 11 g and I am currently working under the physical definition of the schema under topology Navigator. I want to import data from MS SQL Oracle Server; I have defined the source (MSSQL Server) and target servers (Oracle). Testicles of connections and that they are working correctly.

    When you set the physical schema for MS SQL server I am confused with the following fields. Can someone help me understand its use here? I'll be very grateful

    (1) database (catalogue)
    (2) owner (schema) here I read-only user which I already defined as part of the definition of the SQL Server. It does not appear in the list.
    (3) database (catalogue of the work)
    (4) owner (scheme of work)

    Best regards
    Muhammad

    >

    Work catalog database is the location of the temporary objects of ODI (for example, C$, $ I, I have$ tables etc.)
    == I use a single user reading to read the data. How ODI creates temporary objects in SQL server. My work and master repository is the Oracle database.

    Temporary tables are used for a number of things, remember that at this moment in the topology - ODI don't know if your connection to the SQL Server is a source or a target, so he wants all the details, just in case. Reasons for Temp of source tables might be:
    Source of the joins of tables in different data sets with a staging expliitly, set on the source.
    Format (change data capture) objects - Tables to langer, newspaper views (items of $ J) etc.
    If you use only MSSQL tables as sources, you proably find no temporary object created side soruce, arrays of C$ will go into the scheme of work target (in this case, Oracle) that the I'll tables$. So in your case, it's normal.

    Scheme of work is the owner of the database value (catalog of the work) - once again, usually of dbo.
    == use dbo as sys in oracle?

    Type-IIRC no matter what user to the sysadmin role that creates objects have these objects as dbo by default.
    Im not MSSQL DBA if.
    Think of it as a qualifier that ODI will use when generation code selection based on the mappings of interface (for example select database.catalog.table xyz) etc.

    Hope that helps

    Hi Bruno.

    If you use odi 11g then you need less than 1.7 java and if you use odi 12 c, then you need Java 1.7 and above.

    I guess in your case you use odi 11g. Check the version of java to java and install java 1.6 also.

    Thank you.

  • logic diagram can have one or more physical schemas

    Hi Experts,

    Can a logical schema in ODI will have one or more physical schema, if possible in this case let do us.
    In the same way can a physical schema cause several logic diagram if possible in this case.

    Please give me your brief explanation on this subject.

    THX,
    Sara.

    Hi Sara,.

    (1) Yes. You can map across different contexts. The goal is to use the same logic diagram to point to different physical schemas for each environment (Dev, Test, PROD,...).
    So let's say you have a have the 1 SH_DEV to Dev database schema and schema SH on database 2 for Dev:
    -Create a logic diagram SH
    -Create two database server: one for database1 and one of base2
    -Create physical patterns SH_DEV under dataserver1 and SH under dataserver2
    -Create two context: Dev and Prod
    -Card logic dataserver1 SH. SH_DEV through context Dev
    -Card logic SH dataserver2. SH by context Prod

    (2) Yes technically, through different contexts. But I don't see any use for this case.

    It will be useful.

    Kind regards

  • Creation of database server and the physical schema

    Hello

    Am new on ODI and try to create a physical schema, logical schema and create contexts in the version 11 g of ODI.

    I created a master repository and two work different repositories, repository (workrep1) a work of designer and the other as the execution of work repository (workrep2). But when I try to create servers data set of logical and physical diagrams, data server, I create in the working designer repository can be seen in the working directory of the execution. I want to create a separate context for repository and repository of work execution Designer work and I don't want to see everything about workrep1 when I connect on workrep2. But when I connect to the topology, I see the data server, I created in the repository of creative work. How can I create separate data servers in workrep1 and workrep2?

    Can someone help me with this and tell me if do anythign wrong?

    Thank you.

    Sant

    Created everything in the topology Manager is stored in the master repository, not the individual repositories work and is available for all deposits of jobs attached to Mr. aster rep if you have a physical connection differnet you want for your repository only execution, you create another server of data with the connection details and an associated physical schema. You can then create another context and use it to associate your new physical dataserver with the same logical schema that references your database server your designer rep work references:

    You will end up with something like: LogicalSchema1-->--> PhysicalSchema1 Context1
    LogicalSchema1--> sociolinguistique2--> PhysicalSchema2

    Then, whereby the referential work that you you may run under the proper context

  • ERPI configuration: data server and the physical schema

    Hello

    I use ERPI11.1.2.1.

    I try to configure ERPI following the documentation of erpi_admin.

    It is said that to create the database server and the physical schema for ERPI, I must develop 'ERP Integrator' in the tab 'Physical Architecture' in the Manger of the topology of the ODI.

    But I have no 'Integrator of the ERPI' node 'Technical' below in physical architecture :-(

    Thanks in advance for your help

    Fanny

    You need technology that works on the basis of data of the ERPI. So if your the ERPI on Oracle database, expand the Oracle technology and then right-click and choose Insert database server.

  • Create new physical schema disabled

    I followed the getting started and now I want to create something from the ground using the metadata from the repository examples with another data source server.

    I am trying to create the physical schema, but when I right click on the node to Oracle under Technologies, the Insert option is disabled. What I'm missing here?

    Thank you.

    You probably haven't sufficient privileges - if you use ODI 10 g, log off, and then log in to the user SUPERVISOR, password SUNOPSIS wiith. This is the default value and shoul dallow allows you to define your own data server and patterns.

    You gave * of * SCOTT * at * SHARMA.  The grant received by SHARMA not getting exported when you export SHARMA.  So, it is not imported when you import SHARMA.  If you did an export and import of SCOTT before SHARMA, the award of the cross-schema would have also been imported.  (Subsidies granted by a user are exported with the user, the subsidies received by a user are not exported with the user).

  • schema import

    Hi all

    I'm using oracle 11 g 2 on linux 5.5

    I have a user scott and he assigned to the users tablespace. I took the level of schema export of user scott. in the same base that I have another user called User1 and its default tablespace is tbs1 and when I imported the users scott dump file, it has been imported successfully. but I guess I shouldn't import. tablespace default user1 being tbs1 and there privs on users tablespace. can you please help understand why it has imported...

    Thank you very much.

    Verify what tablespace objects have been created in the schema user1.

    If user1 had obtained the role of RESOURCE, it would have been able to import objects in space users.

  • Ignore a schema import in the dumpfile

    version: 11.2.0.3
    Platform: RHEL 5.4

    Imagine that you have 100 saved patterns (expdp) in a dumpfile, and you want to import a schema of this dumpfile in a DB. You can specify only what a schema required using the SCHEMAS in the impdp. But things are not simple, when you want to use REMAP_SCHEMA.

    Here is my scenario:
    ===================

    I took the dump expdp patterns A and B only once. Thus dumpfile has objects both A and B.
    Dumpfile name is: schemas_AandB.dmp

    Now, I want to create the diagram C a with parameter REMAP_SCHEMA

    -Set each parameter in a separate line for readability
    impdp PSTREF/PSTREF_123
    DIRECTORY=ADET_EFX_DIR
    DUMPFILE=schemas_AandB.dmp
    LOGFILE=CreatingCfromA-Impdp.log
    REMAP_SCHEMA=A:C
    Everything's fine. Scheme C is created from A pattern in the dumpfile.

    But impdp tries to create the schema B so because the B pattern was present in the dumpfile. Since the B schema and its objects are already in the comic book, I get the following errors.
    ORA-31684: Object type USER:"B" already exists
    ORA-31684: Object type PROCEDURE:"B"."SP_CLEAREXPIREDSESSIONDATA" already exists
    ORA-31684: Object type PROCEDURE:"B"."SP_DELETESESSIONDATA" already exists
    ORA-31684: Object type PROCEDURE:"B"."SP_DELETESTATECONTEXTINFO" already exists
    ORA-31684: Object type PROCEDURE:"B"."SP_GETNEWCONTEXT" already exists
    ORA-31684: Object type PROCEDURE:"B"."SP_GETNEWSESSION" already exists
    ORA-31684: Object type PROCEDURE:"B"."SP_GETNEXTPART" already exists
    ORA-31684: Object type PROCEDURE:"B"."SP_GETSESSIONDATA" already exists
    ORA-31684: Object type PROCEDURE:"B"."SP_GETSTATECONTEXTINFO" already exists
    Because I don't want B to import schema, I tried to use the SCHEMAS parameter by simply mentioning A.

    -Added setting of PATTERNS
    impdp PSTREF/PSTREF_123
    DIRECTORY=ADET_EFX_DIR
    DUMPFILE=SCHEMAS_AandB.dmp
    LOGFILE=CreatingCfromA-Impdp.log
    REMAP_SCHEMA=A:C
    schemas=A   ---------------------------> Trying to avoid schema B in the dumpfile from being imported by specifying SCHEMAS
    But I got the following error
    ORA-39065: unexpected master process exception in MAIN
    ORA-12801: error signaled in parallel query server PZ99, instance oracth214:HEWRAC1 (1)
    ORA-01460: unimplemented or unreasonable conversion requested
    Parameters REMAP_SCHEMA and PATTERNS may not be working together. Is it possible to prevent the impdp to import user B and its objects?

    YOU HAVE TO USE the OPTION EXCLUDE = PATTERN: 'IN ('B') inside the expdp '.

    EXCLUDE PATTERNS

    Hello Forum,

    Help, please? I browsed this forum. I googled like crazy. I have read and reread the db xml docs. for 16 hours straight, I tried everything I can think of to fix this. but I can not yet understand what goes wrong.

    After you have added annotations that are appropriate to the hierarchially-dependent five (imported and/or included) third patterns, I registered successfully the schemas in the xml db repository. all patterns and their associated with successful instance documents validate in Altova XMLSpy.

    I was able to insert a xml instance doc successfully in an auto-generated XMLType table ("+ ct - valid.xml + ') which was based on one of the patterns (" + envelope-v2 - 0.xsd + '). However, when I tried to insert in its corresponding XMLType table, one other instance doc ("+ cis - valid_irenvelope_request_0.xml + '), based on another of patterns (' + AgentAuthRequest-v1 - 2.xsd + '), I got:

    trace udump files

    I reproduced the problem on 10.2.0.4 (the closest I can get to your version) and 11.2.0.2 too.

    I call it a bug that I may be missing something, but it seems that "Design Chameleon" is not supported.

    Most of the time, xs: include is used to include another scheme which is in the same namespace as the includer target.
    But it should also work when you include a diagram in no namespace (core-v2 - 0.xsd in this case), its definitions are then "imported" names within target.

    In this case, included base-v2-0 definitions are apparently not moved to namespace 'http://www.govtalk.gov.uk/taxation/AgentAuthRequest/1' and are in no namespace, where the error.

    For example, the way space default namespace for elements included work:

      1967-08-13
      Individual

     ...

    Declaring the same target namespace in core-v2-0 works as well.

  • Schema import failed: IMP-00008: not recognized training in the export file:

    Hello

    I was running an import of a DPM database file database schema.

    I met the following error in the generated log file to get:

    IMP-00008: unrecognized statement in the export file:

    All tables copied except one. Now what I thought must import only one table again after the export of the production schema.

    But what functions, triggers, procedures? How I put them all in the schema?
    If reimport the schema still the only option?

    Thank you
    KK

    have you tried with a new such export suggested before?
    Also, check if the export file has been damaged or truncated due to lack of space in the pipe of destination?
