Picture of closed curtains

I need to use the Transition from curtain (close) to finish an article, but I then need to freeze the curtain image and superimpose an image above.

I can't add Freeze Frame when on a Transition.

Should I do a Screen Grab (which may be biased?) or is there another way?

Thank you.

SC

Define the transition to close. Go to the last image and export the current image. Re-import the current image and put it in the end.

I remember seeing a video that shows a scene with four golfers.  The video showed how close all golfers.  Golfers were hidden when moving, so that golfers had not changed, but the background has been compressed.

I would like to make a similar change to a photo I.  In other words, I would like to move two items in a photo more closely together without changing the elements.

    How can I do this?

  • Qosmio F750: Ghosting can mean faulty display?

    Hello!

I have a quick question: I'm a little unsure if the effect of persistence I place on my F750 (model without glasses) can be the result of a defective screen. If I run the utility x-tune in the "professional" mode, I see a green clear picture by closing one eye and if I close the other eye, I indeed see a (supposed) red zone, but there are still some huge "greenish" visible areas. Almost the right quarter of the screen will flash green. If I set the effect such as told by the application, the effect won't get worse.

According to the follow-up face window, my eyes is detected correctly and I use also sufficient lightning and distance of visibility.

So, what is the experience of what other users get? Do you see areas clearly green and Red? How about ghosts in movies or games?

    Hello

I think that ghost effect is nothing unusual in the vast world of LCD Panel.
I have a 42 LCD TV and a slight ghosting effect is visible... more inside display area
I've been reading about such effect, and it's nothing unusual. Sometimes it s more visible on a black background.

Not sure about your problem maybe you should get in touch with a Toshiba ASP in your country to check

But the effects of ghosting are common for LCDs regardless of production or product...

I recently received some photos (jpg) in an e-mail that have been compressed using Microsoft Office Picture Manager. I was able to unzip them, so that they are currently just miniature size. Is it possible to recover to full size?

Once the compressed photo is saved and Picture Manager

  • Thumbnail of the photo in gray

I've been editing photos with Google Picasa, which is also my Viewer.

In Windows Explorer, my files until today were thin - NET and shiny tiles.

However, my current folder has all grayed out thumbnails.  Double-click to open (in Picasa) brilliant photo, so he has lost no data.

However, I can't cursor arrow through the file (look at the next picture without closing the first and double clicked on the next.

There is another folder where half the images have this behavior and the other bright tiles crunchy half.

How can I do this?  I understand that the other question is one of Picasa.

Right-click, choose one of the afflicted files/images, properties and see if the properties say it is hidden.

If course you must have your Explorer set to display files and hidden folders in order to see them.

Here is an example of a folder that is inside a hidden folder and a hidden image, and both are dimmed:

  • Photo B & W saved now resembles an oil painting

I scanned a crystal clear black and white photo (300 dpi) and saved as a bmp. I opened the photo in MS Paint and cropped the edges (I noticed that the attributes MS Paint says it's color. I have left). I saved the picture and closed MS Paint.

When I opened the photo in MS Paint, it seems that the picture was converted into a painting in oil with many parts of the photo showing a strange shade of dark purple and green (with black, white and shades of gray). What's happening? How do I NOT make it look like an oil painting?

I then started on another copy of the original, but this time I changed the attribute MS Paint Color "Black and White", and 90% of the picture is black. I guess the attribute of "Black and White" means exactly that; Black and white with no shades of gray.

    Hi David,

In what format are you saved the image on MS Paint? (BMP, JPEG, PNG)?

If you register as a 256 color .bmp or other formats .bmp, then Yes, you will notice the shadows in the photos.

Please try to save the image in JPEF or JPG format and let us know the result.

  • Workflow to ensure the best quality print files

I have a number of birds in flight photos that do not whole screen. I want to crop the part of the image and print it.

I want to complete the process in Lightroom cc, however the impression that I get on the web, is that Photoshop has tools higher resampling.

What is the optimal workflow between Lightroom and Photoshop to get the best quality print file?

I had to rate an image for printing several years ago and made some tests using Photoshop, Lightroom and some third-party software, resize possibly perfect.

It turned out that Lightroom has produced the best picture, followed closely by Photoshop.

The image produced by the third-party software maybe was a bit stronger than the others, but it seemed unnatural.

You can easily test yourself - create images in the same dimensions in pixels of Lightroom and Photoshop, then compare them to view 100%. Photoshop you give several resampling options that produce slightly different results, try bicubic and bicubic smoother.

  • weird bribe to .mxf video in some sequence settings in setting up first

I have a big project mainly composed of .mxf files saved with a Canon xf100.  An interview in particular do this weird thing when one of the clips are placed in a timeline set as his videos, the video seems normal.  When I copy this video in another fixture with different sequence settings video appears as if the Middle vertical pixels have been stretched to the left and to the right.

I tried to copy it to the other video content to the sequence with this one interview, and it copies correctly.  However, as soon as I click videos stuck together, I get the error seen in the third picture and closed unexpectedly on me first.

Please see the pictures below.  All images were shot with the same camera settings and I used Media Info Mac to ensure that color space, rate, codec profile, bit depth, extension, etc. is the same.   If he has no idea why this interview has been damaged please let me know.

  • Imports RAW - possible to use cameras settings?

This may be a stupid question, but is it possible to import FIRST files in LR and batch process them using predefined parameters that reflect the camera how he is to say how the camera would create the jpeg format, but obviously without converting them to JPEG?  Can I specify that they must be treated like my Canon EOS70D?

    Thank you

It's one of the problems when you are working with raw images. Each manufacturer of the device stores the parameters of the camera differently in their owners raw file format. Lightroom and Camera Raw (used by Photoshop and Photoshop Elements) are designed to only reads DO NOT these settings because of how differently, they are stored.

There are a few alternatives that will help mitigate this. First of all, you can set one of your images so that it matches the JPEG and then you can create a preset that can either be applied individually or applied to all raw, when imported into Lightroom. This could be a preset or several presets. But only a preset can be applied to the import. The other option would be to adapt one of your raw images so that it matches the JPEG and then save the new camera default values. These default values then apply whenever you import new images or reset the images that have already been imported.

Since you use a Canon camera, in the section of calibration in the develop module, you'll find profiles of different cameras available that are designed to match the different camera settings that you can choose in the camera. These profiles can help get the picture more closely what looks like JPEG.

  • InDesign CS3 - apply the style to the selection no longer works!

    Hello

I have a little problem with InDesign CS3 and caraters style and paragraph style.

style options in the options section and in the text, and in a style of object (even in GENERAL pannel), 'style to apply to the selection' appear in gray and I can not select, (or check), and is uncheked.

In the room included an immage of a panel with the uncheched 'apply the style selection '.

Please help me, what I have to do?

I have try all thinghs but not reistalling jump is the last chance.

    Thank you for advice.

    ALE

    Your English is very good.

The first thing I would try replacing the InDesign preferences. It seems to me that if you have repaired permissions of Mac files, but have does not replace the application preferences themselves. On Mac, the fast lane is close ID, then restart and IMMEDIATELY (almost instantly) press and hold the control + Cmd + Opt shift keys while the application starts. You should see a dialog box asking to confirm the replacement of preference. If you don't see the dialog box, you were not fast enough with the keyboard.

You can also do a manual replacement. Look for the InDesign Defaults and InDesign SavedData files (these are probably hidden, but it will be in your user library) and just rename, move or delete. ID will create a new set at its launch. This has the advantage that you can recover your customizations by moving the prefs old return in the case where replacing them does not solve your problem.

Things you lose are non-standard styles default and shades, which can be re-imported from a document that uses and document presets and a printer that can be saved from the dialog boxes "Set" before replacing your prefs and reloaded after same dialog boxes.

    Peter

Edit: I see while I was busy typing Eugene was busy looking at the picture more closely I have and gave the real answer. Good info on the replacement of prefs, however, if you need it in the future.

  • When I go to my pictures and zoom in on it and then click on print schrinks it down to size. I want to zoom and make the image more closely

I want to zoom in on my pic. and printing and it keeps schrinking it to the low size ot.

    Hi wtfe.

It is normal that you cannot print the entire image after zooming it.

When you zoom the image and select to print automatically to change the zoom level print as normal image.

However if you want to print pictures after that zoom you can only do this to some part of the image and import later than some larger version of the image in any photo editing software, save it as a separate image and then print it out.

    I hope this helps!
