weird bribe to .mxf video in some sequence settings in setting up first

I have a big project mainly composed of .mxf files saved with a Canon xf100.  An interview in particular do this weird thing when one of the clips are placed in a timeline set as his videos, the video seems normal.  When I copy this video in another fixture with different sequence settings video appears as if the Middle vertical pixels have been stretched to the left and to the right.

I tried to copy it to the other video content to the sequence with this one interview, and it copies correctly.  However, as soon as I click videos stuck together, I get the error seen in the third picture and closed unexpectedly on me first.

Please see the pictures below.  All images were shot with the same camera settings and I used Media Info Mac to ensure that color space, rate, codec profile, bit depth, extension, etc. is the same.   If he has no idea why this interview has been damaged please let me know.

Thank you Ann.

I updated my drivers and nothing has changed.  In the end I just transcoded the original files in Pro Res 422 and replace the corrupted in my project files.  From and to the top!

If anyone has this problem I'd love to hear a plausible explanation of the suggestions on how to avoid it in the future.

  • Error: too big sequence settings. Now: How to export?

I'm new on the first (and video editing), but I've spent many hours during holidays past learning and producing a short video.

The first media in that I included was a large image. I think it is the reason why the sequence settings are big: 4928 x 3264 pixels (I didn't know on the sequence settings at all).

Next, I added my video clips, recorded in DV 720 x 576 format.

Now I understand why video clips appear to be scaling over 500% to fullfill the frame!

I saw a video on the sequence settings, and it seems that the settings sequence reduce the CPU usage when editing (Preview in real time). Good to know!

But my question is: can I export a video of good quality with this settings?

I tried DV PAL and H264 + DV PAL, producing large files: 250 MB or 2 GB for a 10 min. video, with a horrible video quality.

I'd appreciate any help to avoid to repeat the entire process.

    Thank you!

    Kin

If I understand correctly, you want to do is export a video in 720 x 576, in this case, you're better off get the right sequence rather than the intensification of the sequence settings and then back down to export.

You neglected to declare you what version of Premiere Pro. It's always a good detail to include, especially in this case because the parameters of the sequence becomes editable in CC7.1. So if you are on 7.1 or later, you can change the dimensions of the sequence to match your main content by right-clicking in the sequence in the project Panel and select sequence settings. If you are on an earlier version, then the best way to go is to create a new sequence with the desired settings and copy and paste everything from the old order to the new. You'll then come back scaled to 500% to 100%.

  • How to eliminate the ticking noise between the videos in my sequence?

    Hello.

I worked with Adobe Premiere in the CC for over six months now.  For no reason at all, today I noticed that some footage that I did clicked in both.  Noise was always between any part of the sequence where the two videos were separated at least two seconds of empty space.  I'm not sure why this is happening and how to eliminate it?  I get rid of the noise in a video, but it was because I got rid of empty space and close my videos on the sequence.  However, I don't want to do every time I edit a video.

I have updated all my applications CC and not sure what to do.  This problem occurred only in the last day and if anyone has the answer, please help!

  • Why my media wants to export in MXF format when I match sequence settings?

I did movies with first CC before and never had this problem, I'm going to export, I click on the box to match my sequence settings and it will export an MPEG, and now she wants to export in MXF format. My computer does not recognize the MXF files. Is there a reason why this might happen?

If your export correspond to the parameters of the sequence is now mxf. Check your codec in the sequence settings. This is what match sequences of uses.

Why do you want to use the match sequence settings, it's for a quick review of your film with a codec overview of lower quality.

  • Sequence video Previews and GPU settings?

    Dear PrP CC users,

I wanted to get a few related that information to the sequence settings.

In the bottom of the sequence settings box: video Previews. There are three boxes of UN / tick:

    Maximum depth

    Maximum render quality

Linear color composite (requires a GPU acceleration or rendering quality max)

Normally, I check all of them. I have an active Windforce GTX 770 4 GB CUDA mercury engine. I also updated rendering optimizes for: Performance.

    My questions are these.

-These selections make the final output of a delivery schedule, or is it just for during regular and rendered reading preview?

-Also when I export using Media Encoder through dynamic, is links - this misuse previews for a faster export, often I export to ProRes4444 for classification, I heard the preview files will differ as its created by the GPU and may slightly change color depending on the GPU, you have, so it is better to export and to allow him to perform a new made using the CPU in Media Encoder (I have always set the maximum depth and quality)?

-Finally, in the export process, when I select the maximum Bit depth, there are options in the value of depth of bits (32, 48, 64) does it become redundant since I checked the maximum depth?

    Thank you.

The first two boxes only affect previews.  The boxes of same in the export settings dialog box will be replace those and determine the output.

Using previews for export is generally not a good idea, that doing so will incur an additional compression stage.  The exception occurs when the previews are lossless (or almost, as with DNxHD).

Not working not with ProRes, I've never seen these options.

  • Help! Need to change the size of the video in the sequence of project...

When you create a project last month I accidentally created as 1280 x 960 in the sequence settings, but to create as a 1920 x 1080 which is what all the video clips are of size. Now, I have this well-edited project, but must convert it to a 1920 x 1080 in the sequence settings so I can export as this size. When I go in the sequence settings now this option is grayed out and it won't let me. I read many forums and they say it's easier to create a new sequence with the right settings and import the old sequence but when I do that it's always like 1280 x 960. So my question is other than the re-release of this project together, how can - I take this ongoing project with the sequence like 1280 x 960 settings and change the size of the video up to 1920 x 1080 (which is what the video clips are initially and when I right click on the videos it says 1920 x 1080). Please help, I use CS5 PP! It's so frustrating!

A big thanks to everyone! I followed all your advice and got to work, the only thing I had to do was to manually resize the titles but everything else was perfect, thank YOU!

  • Clips video zoom in sequence

I have problems with Premiere Pro CS6. When I import video files (.) (MTS), in the part of 'Project' in the window, video clips look like they were originally shot. But then when I drag their counterpart in the sequence editing, video zoom - about 40-50% of the image is removed from the perimeter.

How can I move my clips in the sequence without having this happen?

FAQ: How to choose the right sequence settings?

  • When you create a new project, the "new sequence settings" step doe appears not automatically, what to do?

    Hello

I have a question I make videos of product for a company that they would do that to me in a 16:9 format and in HD. Because they do not know on which channels they want to publish, but it is certain that they will publish on youtube I wanted to do it in the settings HDV and DVCPRO HD 720 p 24 or even 1080 p 24. I bought the license to create online and for some reason that I don't have the option at the beginning when I create a new project to change the settings for the sequence. They do not appear, and then I can not change. Guys do you have any idea what can be done in order to access this setting before the project opens in the end?

I'd appreciate strongly any help in this matter!

    See you soon,.

    Mascha

This option is no longer available in the current versions of first. Once you click OK in the new project dialog box, you can then create some sequences that you like new sequence in the dialog box. You can also return to any order and change them through the sequence settings.

  • Question of sequence settings (Screen Shot attached)

    Hello

I wanted to thank all the people on this forum who help others.  Someday I would love to do the same.

I think I can make it easier on those kind people go towards others by attaching the screen shots to my startup issues.

My question is about the sequence settings.  A lot of the key who are grayed out:

One problem is that I can't change my display of 24 p format.  This isn't on the drop-down list provided.

Also, I'm shooting in the codec H264 on a Canon 5 d Mark II, but can not change it, nor can I change the size of the frame (I got caught usually in 1080).   Instead, I'm locked in a DV codec and a 'Standard' Canon because configuration that the 5 d does not appear on the menu drop down.

Looks like you are trying to change the settings for an existing sequence; You can do that - or more precisely, you cannot change all the parameters that affect the reading and the scaling of a sequence.

If you are only working with Canon 5 D footage, there is some sequence presets set up specifically for such images. When you create a new sequence, browse the categories of predefined settings in the left pane of the dialog box new sequence; you want the folder DSLR. Find the preset that matches the size and the framerate of your videos and create a new sequence to use.

Another solution is to drag one of your clips for the button new item at the bottom of the project Panel - is the one who looks like a chipped sheet. First will create a new sequence of the corresponding properties of the element and insert this clip. From there, you can add multiple images.

Don't worry too much on the choice of codec here. Select the preset to the proper order using the appropriate codec, and this choice dictates that the codec used to render the preview files if you have a portion of your order which will not playback in real time.

  • Two sequence settings

I recently got a plug of Premiere Pro and I barely a thing. I was filming on a GoPro and my iPhone that have sizes different sequences. If I combine clips the GoPro images will be too zoomed or images of the iPhone will be so wander the gray son space behind it. does anyone know how to bring together the two clips?

In general, unless there is a specific reason you'd otherwise, and assuming that the video iPhone is horizontal aspect and no portrait, then:

    Create an empty sequence.

Drag to change one of the clips from iPhone to the timeline. You will be asked for the sequence to be set depending on the source. Click Yes.

When you edit your GoPro videos in the timeline, and it seems zoomed in, do a right click on the clip from GoPro on the timeline and in the menu drop down choose "set to frame size".

  • Sequence settings

I've seen the videos saying not to worry about the sequence settings - just drag the new icon of the sequence and start. But what of this situation?

My project will always contain images of two thirds of the clips: usually psd, 6000 x 4000 when cropped, 3:2 aspect ratio. It will be 1/3 video clips, 1920 x 1080, native 60 fps. So if I have a drag the icon of new sequence to begin, I have a sequence with 6000 x 4000, 29,77 fps, and if I start by dragging the video on the new icon of the sequence, I work in the sequence format of 1920 x 1080, 59,97 fps. These two have square pixels format.  Each sequence must the stills and video clips - mixed. To make a high def product over for Projection on a computer screen (or USB stick) or maybe Blu Ray, I probably want to a final product to 1920 x 1080 - is that correct?

So if I work with a video sequence of size, videos naturally adapt to the screen, but most of the clips, still images, must be scaled down to 27% to fit the screen. (However, which now leaves a lot of space to enlarge and reposition the parts of the image when desirable ("Ken Burns effect").) And if I worked with a sequence of 6000 x 4000, I scale videos to more than 300%. Here are a few questions:

1 should I set the sequence with still video and mixed media not best for 1920 x 1080, give me leeway to blow and reposition the stills?

    2. start with 'Set to the chassis' when displaying of full image fixed - before that it has blown up or repositioned?

    3. I suppose that my output will be H.264, but am unsure of the preselection: (29.97, 1920 x 1080, etc. - or maybe H.264 Blu - ray). Suggestions?

4 am I wrong don't not downsizing first stills (at this point, that would be quite annoying and time consuming)?

    Thank you very much

  • trying to deform stabilize 4 k images and then reduce to 1080 p before exporting it but error "string stabilizer requires clip dimensions to match sequence settings try nesting.

I have a 8 min long 4 k sequence where all the video clips are the same size k 4. I can warp stabilize just fun but when I go on change settings for the sequence to 1080 p and then right click on each clip to scale to the framework I get error "string stabilizer requires clip dimensions to match sequence settings try nesting" the reason why I want to warp stabilize the 4 k images rather than 1080 p images is because with 4 k I have a budget of high culture, I can get away with before I got to the bottom of the scale, string stabilizer settings I use are in the jpg I have attached. I tried visualization of nesting videos online and I can't find what I need. As the now the only viable option I must deform stabilize 4 k and export under 4 k and then open a new project and import the stabilized 4 k images exported and reduce the sequence to 1080 p. I'll do that if I have to, but it will take a lot of time coding without a doubt. Any help is greatly appreciated.warp.jpg

If the images do not match the sequence settings and you want to use the chain, you'll nest.
