PIN Smart Dongle AC adapter 90W KG298AA

Hello

I have a labtop HP model: 2170ee dev6

I want to get an AC adapter, and I found that the chargere:

PIN Smart Dongle AC adapter 90W KG298AA

is compatible with the service:

DV6-2100 Entertainment Notebook PC series

However, my original adapter 120w 10 rather than 90w, is so this adapter is really compatible with my laptop?

Please help me.

Thank you much in advance,

Best regards

Aya.

Two things may happen: it is a genuine adapter 120W or mislabelled as a 120W adapter 90W Adapter.

More than likely, it is a 120W adapter.  However, I suspect the damage was done as it would have already been long apparent before three years ago.

If it was the other way, too low on watts, then he probably wouldn't have charged the battery.

I have a T400 2765, it was delivered with a 90W Adapter, I recently had a 65W adapter. Is it OK to charge my battery with the 65W?, with my laptop being shippied WITH a 90W? I have a dough 9-cell and a battery of 4 cells.

It is perfectly fine to recharge the computer using the power of 65w. She will run probably end using the power of 65w as well, but might not be able to give the computer enough power under certain circumstances. Also, for some Thinkpads as the W510 is delivered with a 135w power computer work very well using the power 90w, but the computer will basically be slower. It might take more time to load as well.

  • Power connector 4-pin S5-1110 or adapter?

I need to put a USB 3.0 in my Slimline for use with external hard drives. The cards I've seen require power connectors 4 pins old style.  The Slimline is very compact and it is difficult to see where I could put a splitter or a connector.

Any suggestions on the source of the appropriate connector and where it plugs into the Slimline?

    Hello

Are you sure that the PSU in the slimline is big enough to handle the USB 3.0 card?

You could look for a cable Y SATA then a SATA Adapter 4.  Here are a few examples so do some measuring to ensure that the length according to your needs.

    Can someone tell me please?

    Thank you!

No, you can use the T5xx, the T4xx, the X2xx with 65, 90, 135 Watt adapters.

  • Pavilion dv7t-4100: Pavilion dv7t-4100 came with 90W Adapter, but says HP 65W Web site

Section of the HP website 'find the right battery or an adapter for your laptop' lists only 65W smart or slim adapter for my Pavilion dv7t-4100, so I ordered the 65W.  But when it happened and I realized that it was smaller than my existing adapter (which has suddenly stopped working), I took a thorough (literally with a magnifying glass) and that he realized was the adapter supplied with the 90W laptop.  I was initially planned a larger than necessary adapter or HP wrong customers?  The adapter I ordered lists this model as being compatible with it.

    Hello

It's true, when you connect AC and run games you need 90W or even more. The following list shows the 3 types of adapters that fit to your machine (and many more parts for your machine):

    (You can bookmark this page).

My suggestion: If you are happy with the 65W charger then keep otherwise, use the right piece to get a 90W or same 120W (much heavier).

    Kind regards.

  • Copy of the hard drive. Where can I get an "edge" 44 HARD drive to a connector 44 flat plug adapter round pins?

Hello. Anyone know how to copy the contents of a hard drive of 80 GB MK8026GAX Toshiba HDD2191 d ZK01 T to a computer? This record came from a laptop Dell Insipiron PP12L defective 6000. The HARD drive has a 44 pins connector flat male edge. I can't find any adapter that will connect this edge connector 44 flat pins at all normally used 2.5 "or 3.5" round connector pins. I have a new technology USB 3.0 Universal Drive Adapter kit, but it requires 44 pin round connector.

If you know an adapter that can connect edge connector 44 pine flat female to connector 44-pin round, please let me know.

My approach to copy HDD content is incorrect. Maybe you have a suggestion for a way to copy the contents of the HARD drive above?

    Thank you in advance,

    AdamWie

    Hi Osprey4,

Thank you for your response. I found an adapter that transforms the connector 44 flat pins female connector 44 round pins. The only thing to do now is to get 44 male connector 44 round pins round pin connector cable or adapter, but this should be easy. Thank you for helping me to solve my problem of HARD drive.

    Kind regards

  • AC adapter mini-message

    Recently I received this message:

The connected smart adapter will power your computer, but potentially at a level of reduced performance. Your computer is designed to vary the performance as required when the lower ability of smart adapter is connected.  Resource intensive tasks can cause your system not to do at the highest level with a capacity more small smart adapter.  Please connect a smart adapter with greater capacity for maximum performance.

This message appears in the lower corner of my computer laptop 2 or 3 times stacked above the other.  I thought it was just the HP marketing buy some new product, but today I noticed that my computer was plugged in and not charging.  Unfortunately, I noticed too late, and he stopped.  Called the conceirge Costco service and they had me remove the battery, power cord and hold the power button to a minute... and then amazing, the adapter began to charge again.  They had no solid information on why it happened.

Is - this indicative of a problem with the AC adapter or maybe just a fluke?   Anyone experience this problem?

Battery stops after a few minutes, no matter the charge adapter and at best will hold the existing fee level but not increase in workload. Battery test indicates the battery is 'normal '. Technical support now wants me to send in my laptop! Can hardly afford to be without it, and the technology has honestly made a lot of sense to me. I asked to intensify the support of a senior technician, but who can take another 48 hrs. Frustrated and worried at this point. It looks like HP may have outgrown their smartcharger series, but may not be able to admit or repair.

    @AnAceBuyer

Try a hard reset as follows:

    (1) remove the battery and unplug the DC power adapter.
    (2) press and hold the power button for more than 15 seconds.
    (3) plug the DC power adapter (leave the battery for now)
    4) press the power button

Please post here your positives or negatives in your thread.

If this has no effect, consider save it all important data to an external storage device. In this way when the HP technical support representative contact you, it will be safe allow control of your laptop remotely for troubleshooting.

  • Do magsafe pin burn because of the fluctuation of power?

    Hello

I have end of 2013 Macbook Pro (retina) that I bought in the USA. Now, I use it in India.

One of the pins of the power adapter 85W Magsafe 2 is burned and glued. It's the tiny pin next to the great.

Corresponding connector in the laptop also get burned.

To power the laptop, I attach and detach the magsafe several times to make it work. This is due to

power fluctuation? The magsafe also get very hot when the laptop support.

If it's because of the fluctuation of power, I can use "voltage stabilizer" or UPS?

Please, give me suggestion to solve this problem.

    Thanks in advance,

Voltage stabilizer is always good if you always dirty power.  It causes burning pine? I don't see how unless the connection is not so good PIN-to-pin. Spikes can cause this.

  • advice of dongle required please

    Hello computer kind people.

I'm a non-geek, but reasonably intelligent Lady retired and I just bought a new office to replace my ancient machine.  My new pc is a Compaq Presario CQ5034UK (NQ882AA).  Operating system is Windows Vista Home Premium.  It has NVIDIA nForce 10 / 100 Mbps built-in Ethernet network interface. I guess that means that is not active wireless and I must need a dongle wireless (adapter).  Could someone please confirm this.  I have a Netgear wireless broadband router model No. DG834GT, this was provided by my ISP (Sky).  I looked on the Netgear site, and it seems to suggest that, for best performance, I should get a Netgear WG111T adapter (only seems to be available online).  Is it true or I could get any adapter of Argos or PCWorld?  NETGEAR say the above router and adapter are both Super G technology, is it important or could I get and adapter N, N + or MIMO to work with my router?  Hope that all makes sense, I'm not 100 percent sure that I know what I'm talking about, so I'd appreciate some advice if anyone could spare the time.

    Thanks in advance
