Pirated software

I've been running a pirated XP version installed without my knowledge. Now, it won't work, and I want to install Windows 7. I can't access the files and folders saved on the hard drive atm. I lose all this?

You should backup your data and do a clean install of windows 7. An easy way to backup your files, if can not start, is too use a (usb) cd live linux to start and make the transfer from there.

    Hi guys,.

I have a couple of new pirated software DVD and would like to install and run it on Windows 10. If I install pirated software, I'll be able to use them on the new OS? Previously, pirated software run perfectly on my Windows 7. Hope you can answer my question. TQ

You may not (or not) help you bypass the licensed software.  If you insist on running the pirate software, you're on your own.  If it breaks win 10 is your responsibility, especially if it changes the OS somehow

  • I see a lot of Windows pirated software on the internet.

    Original title: hacking

I was browsing the web this morning and stumbled on what they call "Windows Loader", and to my surprise, I found tons of websites giving detailed instructions on how to download a genuine copy of Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and even Windows 8, and then how to activate the free.

Why Microsoft does not make something on these activities?

The movie and music industries have been very successful to close these sites that distribute movies and songs of copy right.

What is Microsoft actually allows to do? If it stops these web sites, these people prefer to use Apple or Linux. Yes may thus allows this to happen and makes its statistics higher OS. Microsoft is also especially make money OEMS and enterprise customers. Sold at retail is not much more than a profit anyway.

    What do you think?

    Charles.

    Hello

Microsoft is not unaware of piracy. Windows is probably the most pirated software on the planet.

Sites that encourage piracy are usually in countries where laws are not as stringent as those in other countries. This makes it much more difficult to stop the pirates.

  • Remove pirated software (Portable)

Not so long ago, I had to use After Effects and Premiere Pro for my college course. I went and tried the case cheaper that I could find.

I came across this shop who said he sold AE and PP for a cheap price extremely dirt and they were not fakes. The store owner told me that he was very old stock so the price. I told him that I use a Mac, he told me my computer bootcamp and it will install AE and PP for me, because it has inventory for Windows.

After using it for a while, I realized that the software did not work at height. He lags behind. PP does not export to all media. AE does not work sometimes. Then my PP is not yet functioning.

I tried to check my program files to see if there was a mistake there, and to my horror... there nothing there. After hours of searching on Google, I realized that my software is a portable software, something I've never heard. And it is pirated, too.

Since google has said that mobile software can be uninstalled by simply deleting the folder in which it is, I did it exactly. But I see that there are some cache files lying around, and I deleted those too.

However, I am always worried if there are leftovers of the left of software in my Windows partition. I understand the software might have written in some records or made new folders on my computer, so I want to know how can I remove them completely?

I already bought my authentic copy of Production Premium CS6 for Mac, btw. But I'm a little paranoid to install it. None of the files hacked my Windows partition somehow corrupt or legitimate unlegitimize my software on the Mac partition? Or should I install my legit software now without any fear and treat to remove the files/folders that have been generated by the copy hacked at a later date?

Mac partitions are formatted HFS. Without help, Windows can not read much less write to them, including any malicious tools. And even then the code would not be executed. It would just not compatible in binary format or fail terribly with ' NIX database security management. You're worried for nothing. The worst thing that can happen is a bit dodgy JavaScript in your browser's cache, but that certainly wouldn't come on the side Windows of the things... If you're really worried, just nuke the win partition with Bootcamp and reinstall.

  • Windows Vista updates suddenly stopped working and the message appears to me to be the victim of pirated software - error: 0x80070426

Message came that said my copy of Vista can be victim of piracy and go online to validate that, I did it because I have been using this OS for more than 3 years on a Toshiba laptop with Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit p2000 series. a few hours later my computer said it needed to restart and once it restarted it has a black screen with a message that he was trying to repair. It could not be repaired so he asked if ok to go to a restore point and clicked on Yes. I get the message that my copy is not genuine and my computer wants to restart once again, but I'm the delay of four hours. I did the command line to try to restart the service and access has been denied. 0x80070426. I found an ad on the forum and tried the steps there, but he failed. Mistake was 54. http://social.Microsoft.com/forums/en-us/genuinevista/thread/de089d6e-63b4-4D6E-b955-30bb8e9525d3. I had to contact support and have been waiting for more than 24 hours for assistance. My Control Panel opens and goes away, but I could remove tweetdeck which is among the most recent installations of software I did before this all happened. I am also running xampp on my desktop and I tried to put in place a virtual host by using a different port - could not get that to work and changed the host to the original file. Could it be the problem? I hope I did not reinstall my OS and destroy my computer :-(I also ran Microsofts diagnostic tool and write it here:

    Hello Ebflute,

I suggest that you perform a repair installation.

    Repair facility:

You can reinstall your copy of Vista while keeping your files, settings and programs by performing a repair install or an upgrade on the spot with the following steps: (Note: this still does not resolve all problems, especially if the corruption was caused by a 3rd party program or service, you may need to do a clean install) (if this is not successful.)

    <><><><><><><><><><><><>

Please make sure that you back up all the important data before you continue. Please visit: methods for your backup files.

Always make sure that you have the means to reinstall your programs, or by an installation disc or access to the installation files.

    <><><><><><><><><><><><>

    1. Insert the Windows installation disc in your computer's DVD or CD drive. You must start Windows installation while running your existing version of Windows.

    2. on the Install Windows page, click install now.

    3. on the get updates for installation page, we recommend getting the latest updates to help ensure a successful installation and to help protect your computer against security threats. You will need an Internet connection to get the installation updates.

    4. on the Type your product key for activation , we strongly recommend that you type your 25-character product key in order to avoid problems during activation.

    5. on the page Please read the terms of the license , if you accept the license terms, click I accept the terms of the license.

    6. to the which type of installation you want? page, click upgrade to begin the upgrade. You can see a compatibility report.

    7 follow the instructions.

Note: If your installation disc doesn't include SP1, and you are updated, then you must uninstall it before proceeding with an update install. Start-> Control Panel-> programs-> see installed updates, then select Service Pack for Microsoft Windows and click on Uninstall.

Note: Tit the following settings is reset by default:

    Its computer system

    Device drivers

    Visual effects

    Windows Mail

    Windows services

If you notice missing files after the upgrade, look in the following folders:

    C:\Windows.old

    C:\$INPLACE.~TR

    C:\$WINDOWS.~Q

These files can be eliminated with disk cleanup as "records destroyed by upgrade to Windows".

    Delete files using disk cleanup

  • How can I remove software Pirate in order to buy a new one and install?

I recently discovered that the software of CS3 on my computer is probably the Pirate software. I bought my computer and I have the original disks for this software. The programs do not work and I want to completely get rid of them, but there is no UNINSTALL option. I trashed them, but is it enough? I downloaded a free trial of CS4 and now who will not open either. I guess because I have traces of the left illegit of CS3.

    Can someone advise? Thank you!

Search, download and run the CS3Clean script.

There is also a CS4Clean script.

From CS3, can not all just trash the application folder; You must use the Adobe uninstaller.

  • Essentially of c80003fa error / update no. / no MS Software Install possible 7 Pro x 64 bought & installed today $180! / Defender works not

    Hello

I'm from Germany - but I have not received a response to my problem here at all.
I bought a copy of Windows 7 Pro today, running x 64, installed today & had to erase my XP Pro x 64
version to do. It cost me$ 180! and its giving me all sorts of problems.

First I did as directed, a complete new installation on my new computer built 3 weeks ago
zero using premium parts to halfway "nine".

AMD Phenom II 965 Black Edition
    2 x HD 4890 ATI CrossfireX
    8 GB OCZ DDR3-1333 RAM
    ASUS Crosshair III Formula MB
    2 x WD VelociRaptor HDs (Raid 0)

After installing the operating system and having to enter the key to product twice, he was finally activated
and began the download of updates. Download and then abandoned and gave me a c80003fa
error. Try again a little later, he showed 11 updates, acknowledged the download/install and it
abandoned gives me an c8E5E0442 error. Tried to use the resolution of issue online - returned
an error message cannot run the Problemresolve service. So, I tried looking for update
even once - he showed me the green check mark - computer is up2date. UM, so I thought it was
downloaded and installed the updates. So I checked the updates installed - showed that a
white screen and the OK"" button. So I thought that allows the restart & next to the stop"" button.
He showed the yellow symbol, having installed updates. Then I hit the close button, and
reading displays 'goodbye' 'Installer 1 of 3 updates' - but apparently, he was
hung himself up - waited 20 minutes - nothing's happened yet to 1 of 3 updates, then I hit the
selector. Reset. Since the c80003fa all the time. Cant manually install updates,
can not I install 'MS Security Essentials', or 'any other MS Software' Services.
Windows Defender does not install and I can't activate this service. Behavior
saeemed for me as he treated me like a pirate software, so I did the WGA tool,.
all - no help. Its seems locked. If I press F8 at startup to the top, and then select "load the drivers without.
Authentication "at least my grafics card shows a bird's-eye view. I got the c8E5E0442
error once again in the meantime and a c8000FFFF error. Please someone here in the States
Help me. Sorry for my English and bad translation of system popup text, as I wrote
    I'm from the Germany.

  • Garage sale pirated Windows on the laptop brand

    Hello

I recently bought a laptop (Compaq 510) Logtech Infoway. Kerala.
They have installed a pirated version of Windows XP on my laptop. When I contacted them, they are insisting that it is the right of the consumer at the request of a genuine version of windows.
5 years when I bought a PC brand at another retailer, they have installed genuine version of windows on my PC.
My question does not appear here for the rules for these brands as Compaq, they can be sold with pirated versions? If I'm going legal against the dealers, I as a consumer will be held guilty for not asking only a version not genuine windows?

    Too

The manufacturer like Compaq and others are having agreement with Microsoft they buy license at home, and when you buy a PC from them you may chose your version of Windows and it will come pre-installation. If you're shopping online or certified partner of Compaq or to the sales office, the Windows is genuine.

However, in many countries local dealer will just get a free system without windows or sometimes with MS-DOS and install to pirate one. It depends on law in the country, in some countries, the action would not take any dealer and people who sell pirated software in other countries, he's going for people who sell pirated software and the people who buy pirated software.

In case you, I suggest to declare these dealers, you can use the Web site suite:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/piracy/reporting/default.aspx

    To report them.

Dv4-2045DX has been in the garage because he had flashing lights of SCROLL CAPS as many post I've read here, I have fixed my now excellent work there.

My grandson removed CYBERLINK DVD and POWER2GO and another, because he thought that it was a pirated software that I would like to reinstall the software but cannot be found on the support page Hp, found update, but not sure that it would have the software with the update. If anyone knows if I could download the cyberlink DvD suite of Hp or am I out of luck, I thought also that perhaps reinstall the whole system, but I just spent 3 days of updating Win 7 64 and I prefer not to do that. HP has maybe drive I could order it,

I was happy, sometimes I do a search for the M/B for this and found a simple way to fix it and it's great to be working again. I still have the Photo software and webcam working fine

    Hello:

You will need to perform a system recovery to get this software. It is not available for download and I do not think that HP sends separately the installation media.

If you used the recovery disks to reinstall the operating system (or the recovery partition), you should be able to reinstall the applications that have been uninstalled by going to the SWSetup folder on drive C:\ and has all the program installation files that are located in these folders.

You'll just have to hunt around for them to find the applications to install.

If you have not used discs of recovery media to install W7 or, you can try these downloads...

  • You just bought a used computer and he hacked into software on it. What should I do?

    original title: buy old pc

I am just buying a second-hand computer... I didn't know it is installed with pirated software... what should I do... buy a software or buy a hard drive with the software... I can spend it...

Your computer has a COA sticker on it, with the version and edition of Windows?

the product key is readable? (DON'T post it!)

If so, see if you can borrow a disk of that kind of a person - it will take him to be a disc of MS OEM System Builder, NOT an OEM recovery disk (unless it's for the exact make and model of your machine)

You can not buy hard drives with preinstalled software.

Legal XP packs for sale are now very rare - and most copies sold on sites like eBay or Criagslist are counterfeits, then attention who you buy if you go down this road!

Your best option if you can't find a disc OEM System Builder (or is unable to read the key from the COA) is to contact the manufacturer and see if they have a set of recovery disks available (or take a look at restoredisks.com) that will restore computer provided the factory software.

Unforunately, both are copies of Windows XP Professional and Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003 non-genuine, pirated software installed.  You will need to reformat your hard drive, and then install the Microsoft software "authentic" that you can buy on the Microsoft Store. Carey Frisch

  • License Windows OR pirated Windows double?

This question is directly from Microsoft India,

Why should I use copy of license of Windows 8 (Rs.9800), if pirated copies are available for only Rs.500 market.
What are advantages & disadvantages, please let me know?
I want to know better good/bad things of the technique after the use of license or duplicate.
    Waiting for response...

The reason is simple, copies pirated from any Microsoft operating system are illegal and you can be sued, your operating system may be unusable at any time, and chances are good that pirated software will contain malware. Microsoft sued over 3,000 cases of piracy last year. Add to all this, it's not worth. With the help of illegal copies of any software is no different to Rob a bank.   Hope this helps and if you need any additional aid station and we will be happy to help you.

The above opinion is mine and mine nothing and does not necessarily reflect that of Microsoft, it's employees, or any other Member of this forum.

  • Creative cloud for teams - the only software to test on the second Machine

I recently bought the creative cloud for my office teams.  Currently, there is only one license, I am the user as well as the administrator of the team.  I could be wrong, but I thought that my license allows for me to install applications on both machines, but any application I am trying to add to my second machine is still in trial mode and pushes me to purchase a new membership of cloud or enter a serial number.

I tried myself deleting the user, forwarding of the invitation to join the CC for teams, clicked on the link in my email to accept and implement Creative Cloud Desktop on my second machine, ensured that I was signed the account and tried to download Photoshop, Lightroom, and Muse, but can not get out them of test mode.  I tried to update the applications, and I also uninstalled them completely disconnected (e) Creative Cloud, cleaned my browser cache, signed lounging and reinstalled the software, no luck.  I'm always invited to the numbers on my second machine.

    I'm doing something wrong?

    Thank you!

Sheena, I'm sorry I forgot to mention in my last post that I contact the support, thank you.  That's how I discovered the mistake with the billing address, and so it was assumed that that was the problem, but it turns out that it wasn't.  I managed to find the culprit after learning that my system was not a new one, I thought. He was a former owner who changed the Hosts file some time ago, when they were probably pirated software installed on it.  Cleaned up the entries in the Hosts file and everything works now.
