Plan a repeated import of SFTP

I've set up an import of 3 files per day.  Once the file is contact.txt via Contacts download Assistant.  Second is company.txt through the download of company Assistant.  In third place is opportunity.txt through the opportunity download wizard.  I am using SFTP file and everything works great manually.  Once I at the request of each of the 3 files on a daily schedule custom (04:00 every day), I saw that the first day of the execution, only the import of actually executed contact.txt.   In addition, suddenly an AutoSynch showed for this configuration, I can now change (hourly, etc.).  However, neither company.txt or opportunity.txt that happened as expected.  No not as expected, and no error message AutoSynch was created.  Is there a way to see what I put in place before the wait and hope he runs again and in the process, hope that an AutoSynch is created after this first transfer?  I have hard time getting visibility in these imports expected after they are saved (and they test good manually).

A quick follow-up.  And thanks for the input Nick and Zainab.  I worked with the support of Eloqua to find the problem.  I was able to get the AutoSynchs to save using not the setting saved to download when creating the AutoSynch.  Eloqua support noticed this problem and will evaluate a solution.  The answer to my question in dispute was to start over and manually enter all the information in the Wizard (once again, no recorded information upload), which included the seizure information SFTP connection and timing desired, etc.  Using this manual approach "built from scratch", I saw an AutoSynch created for two loads just after the download wizard has been created.

  • Sync iPhone to Mac causes repeated imports

several photos and a short video which get re-imported whenever I have plug into my MacBook Pro. I have now about 30 copies of each. Except that everything works fine. All is up to date and running smoothly.

This can happen if you use iCloud photo library on your iPhone with the active storage optimization.  If you use iCloud photo library, you must not import using a USB connection as well, since the pictures will have already been transferred by iCloud.

    The problem is the following.

    • With the active storage optimization, original photos are in iCloud and not on your iPhone.  But some originals is have been downloaded for editing. These downloads will be posted as new photos, overtime you connect your iPhone, because they are new files.

When the Import Photos Panel opens, select the iPhone from the sidebar and disable "Open pictures for this iPhone". Then pictures will not launch additional hours you connect iPhone.

    Ritu

Export of "No recovery plan" is available even in SRM 5.1 but it cannot be imported back so that it is not repeated import/export plan that you expect. I expect the same year. Export of the stages of recovery plan is good for the documentation of DR but not for PR backup and restore.

To be honest I don't have a hands-on experience with 5.5 but I don't see anything about importing in the documentation so I expect same behavior as in 5.1.

  • How to speed up an import

I am creating a secondary library of photos for my family photos, everything went as planned, with 7000 imported photos and then I fell in a folder with 12000 images, not in just loose scattered records, (Yes, my family is terrible to manage his photos, then again, they have tried to do it on a Windows 7 PC with no picture ... management software)  I selected it and began importing and then left running during the night and ended only import about 20% of them.

Is it possible to speed up the process?  I had a quick glance in the finder and takes this file that I am importing 120 GB of space.

I checked the activity monitor and the computer is not overloaded in the processor, the RAM or hard drive.

It's a Mac mini end of 2014, with I use mainly as my photography work.  It has a 2.6 i5, a standard hard drive 1 to and 8 GB of RAM.

As a secondary issue, a Mac with 4 GB of RAM would be able to comfortably manage a library of photos with 20000 images?  I am the only family with a decent computer hostel at the present time, as the hard drive of PC family is endangered, and all others have iPads or netbooks.  I think to make an entry level mac mini to replace, that would manage the entire library?

Import / migration is a very slow process, especially if you also download the images on iCloud and sync at the same time. It took days for my library to migrate and it was just a little larger than your number of images, but was actually smaller in size. Give him time. You can pause the download to iCloud in preferences and resume it in the night if it slows down your Mac too.

El Capitan really needs at least 8 GB of RAM to work well. This forum is full of people who upgrade EC with 4 GB and are very satisfied with the performance.

My Mac mini (end 2012) with 16 GB works great with Photos. Current models are overdue for an update, but nobody here knows when it's released new models.

  • WAP2000 as Repeater with PoE only

    Hello

I don't know if this has been discussed before, but I Coulnd't ' t find information specific to that regard.

Our client installation program requires a WAP open-air (main WAP) and two repeters of wireless signal (which will be WAP2000). Coaches will be powered via Ethernet only and will be connected to the same switch as the main WAP (unknown vendor). My question is:

A WAP2000 will work smoothly as a Repeater when it is powered only by Ethernet and connected to the same switch as it is the main WAP?

The question may seem strange, but during my previous installations, I noticed that connected WAP2000 this way was kind of 'lost' by deciding to repeat a signal or work as an independent wireless access point. The problem was immediately withdrawn once recurrence has been disconnected from the switch and powered by a power outlet. I don't know if it was wrong to approach the program installation or something else that was necessary to check/uncheck. To avoid these problems in my future facilities, could you tell me please?

    Thank you.

Hi Raimondas, if you repeat while cables, it will make a network loop. The repeated signal is "1-wire" while material in the LAN is another thread. If you plan to repeat is devices that they cannot have more than one LAN connection wired or wireless.

  • How to add Contacts to a shared list/Contact Group of Data Import

    Hello

Is it possible to add contacts imported using an Import of data to a specific shared list or the contact group? I see that I can do that when I download contacts from Contacts-> download of Contacts, but I don't see a way to do this with a Data Import.

    Thanks for any help,

    Jeremy DeVoss

Autosynchs in E10 only supports synchronization from a CRM system, or some other very specific sources such as Omniture Remarketing segments. FTP (or SFTP) autosynchs unfortunately is possible to create. Creation of an Autosynch done now under Setup - integration, Inbound, Data Sources - create a new Data Source with the external call. This wizard, as long as your data source is a CRM system, you will create an autosynch at the end.

However, for your specific use case, this unfortunately will not work. However, to do this, here's what I recommend:

    (1) put in place as usual, importing data

    (2) on the imported file, create a new field in the field with a specific value, something like Source of lead and make the specific value you can filter that these contacts (thus, for example, lead Source = import SFTP).

    (3) create a shared filter to find contacts with your specific value (in this example, the importation of SFTP)

    (4) your filter shared as a charger for a generator program to program to use.

    (5) in this program, click the add to no program of Contact Group to add them to your shared list.

Its a bit of a work-around, but the only way I think it would be possible at the moment.

  • LCM: Basic rules Calc Manager vs planning files

I need rule of LCM files and see the rules in 2 different locations, Foundation-> Manager of Calc and planning-> rule files. That is the right file where LCM, and what is the difference between them?

In addition, files that were brought by the spectacle of LCM under planning-> rule files but non Foundation-> Manager of Calc. Why would it be?

    Thank you!

    FA

To do this, you need to understand the underlying design. Unlike HBR, who acted as the repository of rules in Calc Manager, rules must be deployed at Calc Manager planning. Once the rule is deployed to planning, it (planning) maintain the copy of the rule in its repository. You can continue to make changes to your rules in calc Manager and there is no effect on the rule in planning.

So for LCM, you will have the rules in 2 places, in Calc Manager (version may differ from what is in the schedule) and also in planning.

So you can import via LCM planning rules and it will run without calc in Picture Manager. But if you want to change these rules and deploy it to the planning, you must import the rule via lcm in Calc Manager and redeploy to the schedule.

Pretty much everything I do in Illustrator is for (no purging never necessary) video editing.  But everything must always be in the region of 1920 x 1080, the border of my work plan is very important, and so I was wondering if there is a way to make the box around my most visible work plan. Basically I want it to be thicker and more obvious. Any way to do it?

Create a top layer, draw a rectangle and give him a thick line of your desire, lock the layer.

    -Are all your artboards 1920 x 1080?

-Your file (s) has several plans work?

  • How to migrate the production to the server in recovery planning disaster?

We use planning 11.1.1.3 Oracle repository. Currently our name of the DR Planning Application is different from the production name and Windows of the DR server names are different from Production. Otherwise, any other configuration even.

How to migrate production planning to the recovery server disaster? We stopped planning on DR server. Then we exported repository Oracle of production planning and it imported in DR Planning. We restarted Dr. DR planning planning seems to work very well, but I'm afraid to click on "Refresh planning" DR Planning - it can update the Production Server. So, how can I be sure that DR and Production planning are disconnected?
Is there something we need to do? This method seems to be faster than the migration with LCM.

Published by: Essbase Fan on October 18, 2010 10:11

You must go about it the right way, if you migrate all planning an application, I agree that it is a safer and faster way.
The essbase connection information is stored in the planning system database/schema, so as long as you have not migrated that then you should be good to refresh.
To put your mind at rest, connect to the planning application and change the source of data associated with the application and then you will see where the essbase server is that it's going to update.

  • In and out of After Effects workflow

I'm just starting to learn how to use after effects CC, with the help of the associated Adobe "Classroom In A Book" to help me get started.  Of course, I can't wait to start using AE myself with my own projects, but this raised a question I can't find the answer to.

First, apologies if I posted in the wrong forum, I target the AE forum because it's where I stuck and therefore the question.  Basically, it's global workflow. Before I ever used After Effects, I would like to organize my video clips and do whatever he had to completely within Premiere Pro. In the end, my Premiere Pro project finished would be exported outside Media Encoder and the work done!

If I'm working on a clip in Premiere Pro that I feel needs work done to it in After Effects, I stop work in Premiere Pro and work on this video in After Effects, bringing back the clip ended up in Premiere Pro?  Can I complete my project in Premiere Pro and import the video finished in After Effects, resumption of work on the sections of the finished video in need?

Wise, I'm not sure how to follow the workflow process.  I work always in advance what I want my video (finished) to be, and when I was working with Premiere Pro, it's pretty simple. I know earlier how effectively when After Effects becomes cause.

    Any advice is welcome.

    Steve

As Mylenium said, you are essentially working on your effects shots the effects of way shots were always worked on. Since the time of Georges Méliès and other pioneers of the film industry, you change the hardware, you need to create your first Cup or a rough cut of your film, then you decide what plans or sequences needing effects, then you send these shots for the Department of the effects for them to work on it. Only the tools have changed. What was initially a couple rewinds, a viewer and a connection block became the NLE. Animators, matte painters and effects special departments have been changed to the composition and movement of graphic products such as AE and Nuke. The workflow, has not changed. Beginners usually gum up the workflow and work not as effectively as they could, but an effective production process is always the same. Script, plan, program, repeat, block, pull, rough cut, add special effects, refine the cut, make the final mix, make the final color of ranking and make the film.

For simple effects, you can use dynamic links to simplify the move your effects of AE work and back to Premiere Pro, but I recommend any drawn effect that requires more than a half hour to complete to be returned and replaced the images in AE by your rendering. Be sure to include enough handles on your effects shots so you can refine the editing for final assembly.

  • Library of mobile Photos with iCloud library enabled

TL; DR: Library of Photos while using iCloud does not merge, but adds the entire library to iCloud, once again, in my case upgrade my plan of storage while plenty of space for this merger

    All,

I have been using iCloud photo library for a long time now to synchronize photos between devices, and.

I'm running out of space in the drive of my Mac, and I wanted to move the library to the SD card, so I followed the steps to copy the folder and then selecting the alt-click on the Photos icon library.

It works, all (or most) of the exhibition of photos very well.

When I go into Preferences > iCloud he says "iCloud for Photos features are available in the library of the system", so I go to Preferences > general and click 'Use as library system' which I think is the correct step since I don't want to spend the entire hard drive and SD card is always connected (it's a Transcend JetDrive Lite 330 enough to store things I don't usually work) (such as photos, music, files ISO and VMs). ICloud options are available click on, so I check 'iCloud photo library' and then it starts to redownload my entire library

Since the library is the same, I wasn't expecting to download and let me upgrade my iCloud-storage plan. I did, for fear of deleting something, but I have always received a lot of space in my 50 GB plan that I can see in system preferences > iCloud (using the ~ 37 GB).

This is the expected behavior and what I need to download again, all my photos? They're all here already!

Are there additional steps to follow when moving the library AND iCloud is activated? I sure miss what is obvious, but I followed all the steps described in official documents and other internet resources, nothing helps, that is: no way to avoid the double space in iCloud so spend my iCloud storage plan.

Import photos and videos from your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch - Apple Support

iCloud photo library - Apple Support

Get help with your photo library - Apple Support iCloud

If I turn on iCloud local library, my library on my iMac remain intact and still receive new phot...

Designate a system library in pictures - Apple Support , where you can read "If you designate a new library as the library of the system and then turn on the iCloud photo library, photos and videos in the new library will merge with those already in your library of photos to iCloud. If you want to separate the contents of your photo libraries, don't turn on iCloud photo library for a library of pictures. more", merge what I expected, not the complete library again.»

    Thank you!

    Yes.

Photos will download the library once again, because it cannot be sure that the library has moved is completely identical.  It is downloaded again and check for duplicates. Once the download is complete, you use more storage than before iCloud, but it will take a lot of time.

But it shouldn't be necessary to upgrade the storage plan. You should be able to demote him again as soon as the download is complete.

What I do, when I want to move the library to a new location is to create a new empty library on the new drive and then turn on the library empty as the iCloud photo library. The library will be downloaded icloud in the empty library instead of download. It's faster and avoid the prompt to upgrade storage iCloud. But the drawback is that I need to name all the faces again, given that the faces does not synchronize to iCloud. And the projects will be missing.  I'm keeping a copy of the original library in the new location, so I can use old projects and can find faces in the event of doubt about a name.

  • Lost hundreds of photos

Updated my computers (MacBook Pro and iMac) to Yosemite (10.11.4) earlier.

The iMac iPhotos library resided in an external right here.  Still doesn't work.

Yesterday, I decided to move all my photos of the MacBook Pro on the iMac, so I would have them all in one place.

I chose to put the 2,000 + more photos that were on the MacBook Pro on a Toshiba 32 GB flash drive.   That's happened.

My plan was to import these pictures 2000 + from the flash drive in the iMac Photos.

It is then the part that may have caused a problem, but I'm confused as to what exactly happened.  Photos 2000 + now are photos ONLY in Photos iMac program and the iMac is "saying" that the Toshiba flash drive where my photo library.

I know he has more photos in the photo library of the iMac and the thought that the 2000 + would be simply added to them.   That is not the case.  Other photos disappeared.

Meanwhile, on the external drive where my original iPhotos Library lives, I'm afraid to open it for fear it will migrate to the iMac Photos Toshiba mess.   I think I read somewhere that.  In any case I don't want to dig this deep hole.

Any help would be appreciated.  I know it's confusing.  Have tried to make it as clear as possible.

    Pat

If you have a library of Photos on the flash drive, you must open the original library (hold down the option key while launching Photos and choose the library to open)

I believe that you have at least two libraries and there is no way to merge libraries on the Mac

the two ways with their own disadvantages are to use iCloud photo library and download all the pictures on it or use the merge of PowerPhotos function

  • Apple Mail - Message could not be moved to the mailbox because there is no file

I'm trying to move messages between two folders "on my mac" and the following error: "Messages could not be moved to the mailbox" various - on my Mac "file '... emlx" could not be opened because there is no file.»

In addition to the background: I'm trying to migrate Mail from one macbook to another, I did it manually because I did not put through everything. The Setup program on the Mac source is as follows:

    -An IMAP account.

-Some local folders "on my Mac" which I use to archive, I do this every year once a year dragging old emails from the IMAP folders to the folders the.

To migrate and I did the following:

-A taken the mac source offline, exported the folder root "on my Mac" containing the tree of files, I used for archiving, it is about 800MB in size is nothing too crazy.

-On the new Macbook, I manually add the existing IMAP account. This part works fine.

-Then I import the exported archive folders.

I'm back and restarted it several times, it really does not seem to play nice. The first time that the files of enacting it very well, but it would not let me move messages between IMAP folders to the imported files (which were local). So I thought I would create new local folders, which I can move messages to IMAP folders. Thus, the plan was to import the messages (which appear in an 'Import' folder) but when I try to move messages between folders imported records the newly created I get the error message described at the beginning of my message.

Ready to try other things, happy to provide additional information. Thanks for your suggestions on the error in advance.

After validation, this I came across another independent message that says to 'rebuild' the mailboxes. I found that if I "rebuild" option on the source (as in what was recently imported) folder, it would allow me to copy to other folders the newly created. If I just manually 'rebuild' for each of the newly imported files.

No idea why this should be done on freshly imported files, but seemed to allow me to go beyond this issue anyway, just update on this in case it helps anyone.

Already when I imported video clips in iPhotos, the clips were made automatically available in iMovie so. Now, when I import video clips in Photos, it is made available in Photos but not in iMovie. Old clips still appear in iMovie, but not the new clips. It is not possible to import new clips with iMovie import function as iMovie cannot locate the file. The workflow I've always used is to create a folder for the videos and photos that I use in my video project and export (or drag) according to Photos or Aperture or iPhoto library in the folder.  Then use the Finder application to import the files into iMovie.

The following resources explain why you can't see the Photos in the media browser:

If the media browser shows all your photo library
    https://support.Apple.com/en-us/HT204669

Sometimes the media browser, which allows applications like iMovie or Pages use images, pictures, shows all the available photos to your photo library.

This happens when you use iCloud photo library with the preference to optimize Mac storage enabled.

The media browser shows pictures that have the original image or a full preview size stored on your Mac. You can make a photo available temporarily for the media browser by double-clicking on it. This will download the original to your Mac, where it will be available in the media browser so that Photos optimizes still to save disk space.

If you want to take pictures in permanently available Photos in the media browser, follow these steps:

    1. Select file > New Album... from the menu bar of Photos. Name the new album.
    2. Click on the photos you want to make available in the media browser.
    3. Click the Add button.
    4. Click on the Albums tab at the top of Photos and find the new album you created.
    5. CTRL-click (or right-click) the album, then select Download this Mac originals.

This will download the full resolution of the images you have selected for your Mac, which makes them available at all times in the media browser.

Note: You can do all the photos in your photo library available at all times for the media browser allowing to download the originals of the Mac in the preferences of Photos, but you will lose the benefits of clutter in preference to optimize Mac storage.
