Why all the emails Outlook express opens at the far right of the screen? I have to take the cursor to the top right of the computer screen, then click to maximize the file so that it opens to the normal size and location. Does not try to 'change' the file to the normal position. Thank you

Any window that you want to resize all the time must be the last closed window.

Take the corners of the window and drag it to the format full screen. Do not use to expand. Close all other windows first via the taskbar and the latter. Windows will remember the size of the last closed window the next time that you open the program.

It's called the problem after you have uninstalled Chrome.  It is ultimately a default browser related issue; There are different 'cure', but none exactly foolproof.  Here are some of the threads I have my favorites:

  • Problem with the links in my emails outlook express

I have an OS XP service pack 2, with outlook express.  My mail is in outlook express, but my wife gets his mail through yahoo.  We both receipt of emails from sereral from a friend with links to the url included in the e-mail.  When she clicks on these emails in his yahoo account link comes right up.  However, as a week ago, all the links that are in the mails that I opened in outlook express, they do more nothing when I click on them - no error message nothing.  Anyone has an idea why links open if I opened an email in yahoo but not if I open an email in outlook express?  And what could be the fix for this?  I never had this problem until about a week ago. Thank you.

This is common and can happen at any time. Often, the last point mentioned here is the fix.

  • Cannot enter spaces between words in the Message Outlook Express rule

I had to re - set up of operating systems Windows XP Pro on top of the existing system without reformatting the hard disk. Now, I noticed that when you create a new message rule, I can't enter a space by the shift to separate words in entry for example "of". I'm used to be able to type in a space between words such as the names and surnames of persons before the re-establishment. When I type the words as they appear as, e.g. "JohnMcKay" instead of "John McKay", which is what I intend to enter if Outlook Express is to process the mail entering this sender as I will. In the previous implementation of the operating system, there was only a user named 'administrator '. Now, there is always a single user with my name appears as an administrator of the computer. Maybe I shouldn't have typed in my name as the user of the computer during the installation and instead should have typed 'Administrator' only as a user. I don't know if that makes a difference in the consequences of the new organization of the operating system. I would appreciate any suggestions to overcome this problem.

I have no idea if the way that you have installed XP has nothing to do with it. If so, I can't help. But, a few questions...

    1. Why should you use the Shift key? The space bar works for me.
    2. Why is it you enter the address of the person instead of their name?
    3. You can try this to see if the registry is damaged. It is common in OE.

    1. close OE, then in Regedit, navigate to this key:

    | - HKEY_CURRENT_USER
    | - Identities
    |-{GUID}
    | - Software
    | - Microsoft
    | - Outlook Express
    |--------------------5.0

where GUID is the Global Unique identifier for your identity.

    2. under this key, you will find the following between subkeys
    others:

    | - Block senders
    |-----------------------Rules
    | - Signatures

Select the key rules and delete it. Message rules will be empty, but you can rebuild them now.  Note This will remove all rules.

If that does not do it, maybe it's the equipment and I don't have any additional advice.

I can't open the files attached all e-mail (even if it's a small file, just 20 words on this subject). Please tell me how to solve this problem.  Thank you!

Since you have Open Office, you should be able to open it if you followed my instructions above to create a file association. People without Open Office won't be able to open it.  (http://www.ajaykumarsingh.com/microsoft/how-to-open-odt-file.html)

Given that you tried to create an association with no luck, I would say that this is perhaps a problem with Hotmail and ask here you can get a better answer.

  • I click on the links in the email and get a box that says: "this file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action" and the link cannot be opened.

I click on the links in the email and get a box that says: "this file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action" and the link cannot be opened.

    Suggestions;

    1. make sure that your e-mail program is your default program.

    2. make sure that your Internet Explorer, or your main browser has all its faults.

You can do both of the above by following these steps...

Start button > right column, click default programs > click Set Your Default programs...

    1. click on your e-mail program > it doesn't say "this program has all its defaults"?
If not, click on choose by default for this program > check all boxes below the list > click on save when finished.

2 do the same as above for your Internet Explorer, or your main browser.

  • Why the links in the Microsoft Outlook e-mail messages do not open Firefox?

FF 4.0b8 is my default browser and MS Outlook 2003 my default e-mail program. When I open an email with a link to a Web site and click on it, no. FF window is open. This problem did not exist with Internet Explorer.

As an alternative, I tried to copy the link in the email, but then, I find that he is unable to be glued on an open FF window either.

Although this behavior is very strange, I notice that you have a version of beta (Firefox) installed, which, by definition, is buggy - unless you test or that you are a developer you really use the latest stable version (currently 3.6.13, http://www.mozilla.org/).

Of course, I agree that a "bug" is not acceptable. Whereas it is difficult to help out here, it is impossible that Firefox users would agree to buggy software either (i. e. they won't have this behavior).

    Hi sean2sun,

It seems that the player is not correctly recognized.

What is the operating system installed on your computer?

However, try to disconnect and reconnect the Walkman on computer. You can also try plugging it into different USB port of computer.

NOTE: Connection to the USB hub is not supported. Walkman should be connected directly to the USB port on the computer.

If the problem persists, perform the steps on the below technical support article:

    Original title: Start menu

    Hello

I have a problem with my Start menu in vista.
For some reason a cant open my "documents" link in the right-hand corner under my avatar.
His explains the configuration (I tried to start the copy and stick to the desktop screen) operation because there is an unexpected error of cant.
This is the error code 0 x 80070057 settings are incorrect
and then the registry of reg key change for key documents.

Well... How can I get my link back to work again?
Because if I click right mouse on the link and the properties of its white screen bit the properties of documents.
One thing that I remember is that the path to the documents is c:/user/documents instead of the documents.
But the name of the map itself I've already renamed as 'documents' even on C: / as on the windows user, but the cushion that him is a "docu".
And if I want to configure target to DOCUMENTS it says incorrect "whether it is the right path to the target."
And if it is resolved in its ready to use again, I guess?

    Thank you already!
