Plan to change Dreamweaver. What can do?

Hi, I'm a Mac user using iWeb, which is optimal for most, but sometimes can be a bit limited. I would like you to give me an idea of some things that Dreamweaver can do, specifically:

  • You have users to add comments to articles, or any part of your site?

  • Can you have a system log, giving users of such capabilities that comment without having to do a lot of work with databses with your Web host?

  • Is Dreamweaver a WYSIWYG editior (eg can you "draw" shapes, text boxes, etc. as you can in iWeb) or is a knowledge of HTML or CSS to make a really nice site?

  • Dreamweaver automatically makes your site friendly for all browsers, or which is still up to the designer?

  • Dreamweaver gives you no help with ranking SEO or search engine?

If you could answer these questions and let me know of all the other cool things that Dreamweaver could do it would be great! Thank you!

You have users to add comments to articles, or any part of your site?

Yes, with an overall upward. There is no tool to do it automatically.

  • Can you have a system log, giving users of such capabilities that comment without having to do a lot of work with databses with your Web host?

You can do it, but it requires the setting up of a database, etc. on your server.

Is Dreamweaver a WYSIWYG editior (eg can you "draw" shapes, text boxes, etc. as you can in iWeb) or is a knowledge of HTML or CSS to make a really nice site?

It is WYSIWYG, but you cannot shoot.

Dreamweaver automatically makes your site friendly for all browsers, or which is still up to the designer?

Most of the time Yes, unless you make an additional coding yourself.

Dreamweaver gives you no help with ranking SEO or search engine?
