• Windows Media Player will play audio files with the exception of midi files

  in my Windows 7 computer, Windows Media Player is called upon to play .mid and .midi files.  When I try to play the file, it says there is a problem with the audio device however, TI WMP plays videos, files mp3 with sound perfect.  Register for midioutID is set to the audio device by default with data 0xffffffff.  I've removed from the media database and allowed him to repopulate but still no sound.  All the settings to another computer running windows 7 that will play the midi files.  What's wrong?

  Try again after you disable the Safe_mode in the CD player. (Menu-> preferences-> Security (enhanced) Edition-> uncheck (turn the Mode protected at startup) and restart the Application)

• Movie Maker plays audio / video in the preview window, no audio on the table of storyboard / timeline

  Never had this problem before - I have downloaded the clip from digital camera to PC, then imported into Movie Maker.  He plays in the screen preview with audio and video, but when I add it to the editing view or the storyboard table, there is no audio despite the visibly populated audio track.  Volume settings show no inhibition and no adjustment of the volume level will bring the sound up. A lot of gel on, too.

  Something to try...

  In Movie Maker... try to go to... Tools / Options / compatibility... tab and uncheck all filters / OK.

  If no improvement... go to... Tools / Options / Compatibility tab... left click on the "All default settings" button / OK.

  If this does not work... it may be worth trying to convert the video clip of the. Before importing WMV format.

• Info on system - jump to slide using the variable Variables

  I know this is not new - I just couldn't find it there.  I use Cap 8.  I need to do a lot of branching in this project.  I would like to move to a slide by using a variable.  It seems I should use cpCmndNextSlide, but I was not able to find a good resource that speaks of these variables and examples of their use.

  For example, in a fast action I would set the system variable to the slide that I want to go?  And if so, how can I do the draft Act on that and actually go to that slide.  I couldn't get that to work.  I wish sliding jumping allowed you to put in a variable in a tip action.

  Anyone who can point me in the right direction?  It would be greatly appreciated!

  I am so happy that I did a few tests, because it seems that it was something small and ridiculous.  I think that (so far) it seems that I was not overview of the entire project that I started about three slides with overview because those who were intro slides and does not part of the action.  I don't think it would make a difference in the jump to slides with cpCmndGotoSlide, but this seems to be the case.  Anyone who knows?  I will continue with the development, but I think that's it.

  Step 1: Try reducing video hardware acceleration in Windows Media Player.

  I use a form of Parallax on the scene that controls playback of time based on the position of the roll. This app (page) will be part of a set of DPS iPad (one of the many pages). I am including the script of the stage and a link to download the package. I want the sound to play only when the user starts to scroll. He can play through and then stop.   What is happening is that there's not something audio real 'rafting_audio_element' at the level of the scene (it's a symbol), so he never does the play command put you in scrolling stage event, because this audio item does not exist on the chronology of the scene.

  I have few months with my HP Pavilion DV7-6B78US, from the time when I bought I had problems playing audio, especially when the fort (I'D say after 50% in volume) with active beats, whatever the player, today I had with the question, can't really play loud music without my programs (still able to use the keyboard and mouse) freeze but all my applications (web browsers IM applications video output, etc.) would freeze and hang for a few secconds (sometimes music still plays while else everythign is frozen), then it goes back to work, but after another few secconds it would freeze again unless I lower the volume... This happens with or without active beats. I have restored my pc to the clean start through the HP Recovery Manager, reinstalled the drivers, verification and updates installed through technical Assistance from HP, looked for new drivers or add-ons for the audio drivers, regardless of what I installed nothing doesn't.

  What about the HDMI audio output. I managed to install the updated drivers compared to those on the HP site for two video cards, Intel and AMD, the AMD driver driver required, signature but I have disabled this requirement (this was not an option on windows 7 Home Premium) everything works fine.

  Regarding my system to crash or stop when I would play audio over 50%. I think it's the driver under windows 7, which is available on the HP site. I always thought that they were the best drivers available compared to the other drivers out there, but I guess I was wrong. Thanks to all those of you who have offered their help in getting this problem is resolved.

  Solution, installed Windows 8 and obtained the most recent drivers available.

• CP6: audio video continues to play when go to the next slide? !

  I work at the COP6. I inserted and avi video in my file using multislide mode, but the selection single slide for it to spread on. If I click to go to the next slide before the video is done, the soundtrack audio continues to play.  How can I stop this?

  Also, I'm crazy, or does not, we used to be able to add a mini bar reading/skin to a video inserted into older versions of cp? I can't find this option anywhere.

• Audio attached to the button "submit" plays at the beginning of the slide

  I created a text box with a "submit" button. When someone types in their response and clicks submit, text comments will appear and an audio excerpt explains the answer. I have attached the audio, the button submit, but when I go through the project that it plays as soon as the slide appears, not after the answer to the question.   With more tests, I found that if I join the audio for the legends of success or failure, she plays after the answer to the question. The audio was playing when the slide appeared first of all because I loose to the Submit button, which is visible from the beginning of the slide.
