  I am using Play memories home of organizer for ALL my images, and I have a lot of images that are scanned slides from many years ago. These images appear on the display of the calendar in PMH that day, that they were responsible, and I will try to find a way to correct the dates back to the actual date, they have been taken. I found utilities that allow the modification of certain dates in EXIF information and also the dates in windows file data, but none of them has forced TDC to display these images on the calendar correctly.  Does anyone know of a way around this?  Is there an EXIF tag that TDC uses in this regard?

  You are welcome. It is regrettable that the program will not run the way you want. I have some suggestions that might help.

  One thing you can try is to record some images so [Update Database] will not take too long. You can save the other folders or files again later once you're done test. If it still does not, re - install the TDC, sign up only a few pictures and try the procedure given by Francis.

  Even if I see that I can change the version of the file in a different format, I have the same problem with videos on websites that I can not of course change the format before playing these.

  I managed to fix the problem for about 20 minutes by flattening my computer re - install the operating system and this resolved until all updates have been through, and then it disappeared again.  I tried many codecs packs and this still does not help.

  My system is running Windows 7 and Media Player version is 12.0.7601.18840, which tells me that Media Player is the most recent version.

  Open uninstall a program in windows and in the left click on the feature to turn on or off windows. Clear the check box of the window Media Player, and then click ok. This will uninstall the drive, and then restart.

  After restarting the same steps, now, check the box for the same and perform a restart and if all goes well it should solve the problem.

  Note: Make sure that Windows is up-to-date.

  1. what happens when you try to play MP4 videos?

  2. do you get an error message? If so, what is the exact message?

  3. what application you use to play video files?

  4 is the issue limited to any specific video file?

  5 have have there been recent changes made on the computer before the show?

  I suggest you to play the videos in Windows Media Player or Windows Media Center and check if it helps.

  I can't ' play to ' to work. I have a home network with Windows 7 PCs (64 bit) 3 on it (two desktop and laptop). Network functions very well for file sharing, sharing printers and sharing of media files.
  I store my media on a desktop computer and want to broadcast to the other two. I have all 3 media payers (V12) open, but nothing plays. From the office (with the media), when I use the button "play to", (after a considerable delay) he almost always says "device not responding".   a DMR. You can try another DLNA server to see if you have the same problem?

  I'm reading a video (the Web site supports .webm, .ogv, mp4), but neither autoplay, or the Start button seems to work. However, if I slide the button to the right (+/-40 sec) play video.

  I recently had to reinstall OS X 10.11.3 and all other open source and license purchased software on my Mac HD.

  The unique free MPEG Streamclip 1.9.2 will recognize the title of the file mp4 (present in the control of the application window), but says ' open file error: unknown file type '.

  By clicking on the button 'Open Anyway' brings up the window "open file error: cannot find audio or video tracks" warning.

  This free program is unique in that, although it is free, it only allows users to change the size of the video image, change brightness, contrast and saturation if necessary and convert to a range of alternative formats.

  I also have problems with MPEG Streamclip on El Capitan. He has worked on the Mavericks (I don't know Yosemite). Recently I bought a new iMac with El Capitan and MPEG Streamclip now sets out the MISTLETOE strangely, mainly transport timeline bar. Also when playing .mov or mp4 files it chops on the upper segment of the image (about a third). I think there must be compatibility issues with Streamclip and El Capitan, like on my old Mac (with the Mavericks) it works fine. Aaagghhh!

  -Download updates - this hammers bandwidth
