play streaming audio without the tv on?

I have:

Sony - KDL-55BX520 TV

Sony - Blu - Ray-SA-CT660 player

Sony - BDP-S5100 Sound Bar

I would like to be able to listen to music / audio streaming from the internet connection Blu - Ray players, speakers of the sound bar, without having to leave the television on all the time.

Currently, after I get my sound source (i.e. Pandora) implemented using the TV screen to navigate, when I turn off the TV, the sound "leave" the sound bar, even if the bar of his is still on.

Is this asking something which cannot be configured?

Is that the problem happens when you play another application video internet (YouTube and Netflix) on the drive? How about if you play a movie on the player?

  • Firefox V 25.0.1 on an iMac OSX 10.9 will not play streaming audio from a web site. Audio on Safari V7 OK. Any ideas on how to get the audio Firefox to play?

    Hello

    Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most of the modules.

    (If you use it, switch to the default theme).

    • Under Windows, you can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
    • On Mac, you can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key option key when starting Firefox.
    • Under Linux, you can open Firefox 4.0 + with leaving Firefox then go to your Terminal and running Safe Mode: firefox-safe-mode (you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)
    • Or open the Help menu and click on the restart with the disabled... modules menu item while Firefox is running.

    Once you get the pop-up, simply select "" boot mode safe. "

    If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one. To do this, please follow article Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems .

    To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

    When find you what is causing your problems, please let us know. It might help others who have the same problem.

    Thank you.

  • Media player 11 stops at the wide/close when I try to play streaming audio player or external ripped music.

    Just got a new PC.  XP pro, winplayer 11.  Open the drive, access stored external hardrive bookmarks/libraries, select ANY song, it starts to play (no noise, just the moving bar), and it gives me the dialog box "I am broken, do I have to send a report" immediately and closes.  To do this, with most of my Media Center radio station playlists as well.  Updated media information exchange, restarted (player and PC) with no resolution.

    You have no third-party plug-ins WMP installed? You can check through the tools - Options - plugins (press Ctrl + M, if you don't see the Tools menu). If there are third-party plug-ins, disable or remove it and check if the problem persists.

    If you have installed the codec, such as K-Lite packs, then I suggest that you remove these establishments.

  • Satellite M105-S3084: is not possible to record streaming audio on the web

    I have a laptop M105-S3084 Satellite with XP MCE SP2. The sound card seems to be something called "Realtek High Definition Audio" on a bus to internal. The driver is 5.10.0.5200 dated dated 09/12/2005.

    This sound card and driver seems not to have what is necessary to allow me to record audio streaming on the web.

    I've been on audio NoticiasLA and determined that although with as SoundBlaster sound cards can save essentially anything that can be produced by PC speakers, this is not the case with the map I have in the Toshiba Satellite.

    For example, only flow for record in software like Audacity and others are 'Mic' and 'Line' all that is available with other cards is several other inputs (Audio mix, etc.) that the software allows to record the sound from the web browser.

    Other than to get another PC or sound card, is there a way to improve the capabilities of its Realtek High Definition Audio card? Others were able to achieve sound web using this sound card?

    Thank you.

    Hello

    I use two programs to record the sound from the internet sites;
    The first is wave-recorder and the second Messer.
    These two applications allow you to record from wave and convert and save files in MP3 format.
    You can choose the source of the record; the external microphone or wave.

    Check it out. In my case it works and I m very happy

  • streaming audio over the internet using wme 9 or expression encoder 4 on server 2012

    I hope someone can help. I use successfully wme 9-audio live stream of a phone line at the line in on the server. It is accessible on the internet from a link on my Web site in the ip address and port on the server. It works fine, but I am unable to set it up on a new Server 2008 or 2012 using the essentials and server media pack. the current server works slightly and needs retirement. I'm completely puzzled as to why I can't make it work on any other machine. I use the same router and routing to the same ports on each server that I have tested. Reports from media player there is a network connection problem on each of the servers, with the exception of the only collaboration server 2008.

  • BB10 - Audio without the volume information

    Hello

    I use the HTML5 media API to use audio within an application. I also tried to use the API of Cordova media and it works. In both cases there is information about the media file that I use when I change the volume by keys, but I don't want to view this information. I couldn't find something around to hide this information from the display of volume information.

    I hope someone out there can help with it? THX

    There may be a way to customize it.  There are some environmental variables that can be added to the framework WebWorks.  Generally, these are undocumented and very subject to change.  So use them at your own risk.

    If you look at the SDK/lib/native-packager.js file, you'll see an env for the xmlObject property.  This is used to create the file of the bar - descriptor.xml that is added to a compiled file BAR.  There is already an environment variable specified here: WEBKIT_NUMBER_OF_BACKINGSTORE_TILES.

    If you change this native file - packager.js and add the environment variable WK_SUPPRESS_HTML5_MEDIA_BUBBLE for it, it should change the behavior of the toast of volume. I don't think he's going to get rid of it entirely, but it can prevent the image/song title and break/prev/next buttons display.  You should back up all of the SDK files that edit you. Otherwise reinstall to resolve the problems of the unknown.

    https://github.com/BlackBerry/BB10-WebWorks-Packager/BLOB/master/lib/native-Packager.js#L49-L51

    env : [{
       _attr : { value : '8', var : 'WEBKIT_NUMBER_OF_BACKINGSTORE_TILES'}
                },{
       _attr : { value : 'true', var : 'WK_SUPPRESS_HTML5_MEDIA_BUBBLE'}
    }]

    Hope that helps.

  • The use of blackberry.audio.Player to play back audio in app WebWorks

    I'm playing some audio when the user clicks a button in my app WebWorks...

    function playAudio() {}

    var playerInstance = new blackberry.audio.Player("audio/blah.aac");

    playerInstance.play ();

    It does not work. I tried all kinds of combinations and the only time where I can't not run is if I leave the audio clip of my project and put it on the card as follows:

    function playAudio() {}

    var playerInstance = new blackberry.audio.Player("file:///SDCard/blah.aac");

    playerInstance.play ();

    How can I play audio that is integrated with my WebWorks app?

    Heres the number 64000 is not fixed, then you can put any audio length.

    For fair use to get some raw audio data files for example, you can save the microphone.

  • Shape shape styles will play no audio inserted.

    I am running Windows 8.1 and 8.0.1.242 on the desktop and laptop PC - downloaded from Adobe by creative cloud.

    Text Cp caption old school styles do play inserted audio but the new Smart-saudio inserted game not of HAPE styles. I tried to go back several times. Systematically, when I click with the right button on the legend of the 'old school' text and select "convert to smart shape then reinsert the audio, smart shapec aption styles won't play audio inserted." If I reverse the process text legends will play audio without problem. I tried on two computers and with the new files.

    No matter that another light also deliver or have a lead on this?

    We recorded a bug for the issue where in Adobe Captivate audio 8 does not work when you convert the text box into the question slide smartshape.

    Please see the bug #3919140 for future reference. There is no ETA right now for the resolution. Once we have a fix for this problem we will publish it on the Web site.

    Thank you

  • I tried to record some live audio. I downloaded Wondershare Streaming Audio Recorder I opened the program - but could not hear the audio I tried to play.

    original title: sound problems

    Hello!

    I tried to record some live audio. I downloaded

    Wondershare Streaming Audio Recorder

    I opened the program - but could not hear the audio that I tried to play. I don't know if downloading this program is related to the problem.
    I opened Skype - and everything worked fine. I could hear, etc. But if I run an MP3 in Windows Media Player - I hear nothing!
    My sound is at the top.
    In my Volume mixer, I see:
    1 output device digital (SPDIF) bounce up and down. (but I don't)
    2 but applications: sounds of Windows, Windows Media Player and Google Chrome will not move. (but they are at the top).
    Any suggestions?
    Jews

    I managed to get the results of work. I don't know where come the SPDIF.

    I downloaded a new driver Realtek for audio from the computer. This corrects the problem.
    But I still want to know what happened.

    Hello.
    I have a problem with the content of spam. Somewhere in the Fox appeared script that's choking me audio spam. Every 30 minutes he's playing an audio clip that is malicious. I can't find the settings as it eliminated. Now, I don't have any plug-ins and Add-ons strange that were not initially in the Fox, but the problem is there.
    I use the Fox years. The problem, he had 1.5 months after Fox cleaning. If the problem can't win, I'll be forced to give up the browser, and I wouldn't.

    Could test you mode without failure of Firefox? It is a standard diagnostic tool to disable some advanced features of Firefox and extensions. More info: questions to troubleshoot Firefox in Safe Mode.

    Does not work if Firefox: Hold down the SHIFT key when you start Firefox.

    If Firefox is running: You can restart Firefox in Mode safe mode using either:

    • button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > restart with disabled modules
    • Help menu > restart with disabled modules

    and OK reboot.

    Two scenarios: A small dialog box should appear. Click on 'Start mode safe' (not update).

    Any improvement?

    If the problem persists in Mode without failure, could reinstall you Firefox in this way:

    Clean reinstall it

    We use this name, but it isn't about deleting your settings, this is to ensure that the program, files are clean (not incompatible, corrupt or exotic code files). As described below, this process does not disrupt your existing settings. Don't uninstall NOT Firefox, that does not need.

    (1) download a fresh Installer for Firefox 38.0.5 of https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ in an ideal location. (Scroll down your preferred language).

    (2) close Firefox (if applicable).

    (3) to rename the program folder, either:

    (Windows 64-bit folder names)

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox

    TO

    C:\Program Files (x86)\OldFirefox

    (Windows 32-bit folder names)

    C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox

    TO

    C:\Program Files\OldFirefox

    (4) run the installer you downloaded in the #1. It should automatically connect to your existing settings.

    Any improvement?

    Note: Some plugins can only exist in this OldFirefox file. If it is missing something essential, present in these files:

    • \OldFirefox\Plugins
    • \OldFirefox\browser\plugins
  • Unable to save the Streaming Audio / Creative xfi extreme audio/windows 7

    Creative xfi extreme audio and Windows 7.

    I tried everything and can not record audio streaming. tried to use hearing, audacity and in the audio recording window.
    Drivers day and are tired of all the configurations.
    A post I read online said that Creative didn't activate this option.
    Any suggestions or hacks that you can think...
    Scott

    You can save "what you hear" XP for sure.

    If you do not have this option in the Blender of W7 so you are right, its been disabled.

    However, there is a work around.

    You must create a virtual audio device on your PC. Google for "streaming audio" and you will find some solution, some software are free, others pay.

    Once you have chosen and installed the software, then use the virtual audio device to play the streaming audio and record its 'exit' in your Xfi.

    It is a different and more complicated using two sound devices - your audio device shipped along with your Xfi. Their implementation is not easy, but basically if you got theml work, you will need to connect a cable from the line from one to the line in the other. However, I do not recommend this at all. The software is much more simple.

    See you soon,.
