  I am running Windows XP Professional SP2 (32 bit).  My Windows Update is configured to inform me of updates that are available and to wonder what to do each time.

  For the last two months I have problems with these two updates:

  1. Update for Microsoft XML Core Services 6.0 Service Pack 2 (KB973686)
  2. a security update for Microsoft XML Core Services 6.0 Service Pack 2 (KB954459)

  Two of them are available for me to download and install every time I connect to the Internet. I always choose download and then install. The first update is always installed successfully, but continues to offered to me AGAIN and AGAIN. I have reviewed my story to update on the Microsoft Update site, where I can see that this update has been installed successfully for more than 10 times.   In my System32 folder, I have a file called msxml6.dll (created: 19 08.2009).  On the Properties dialog Version tab, I see that its version is 6.20.1076.0;  If that matters.

  My security programs are:
  -BitDefender Total Security 2010
  -Malwarebytes AntiMalware
  -Online Armor ++ Firewall
  (They are all up to date and none of them has ever interfered with the installation of any update of Windows or Microsoft).

  Can someone tell me please:
  1. What can I do to make the installation of this update for Microsoft XML Core Services 6.0 Service Pack 2 security
  (KB954459) succeed?
  2. what to do with an another update (update for Microsoft XML Core Services 6.0 Service Pack 2 (KB973686)) which

  I have an Aurora R3.

  If Sims Setup calls for another drive then I guess it's looking for a second installation disk or it has encountered an error and can not read the disk it uses currently.  Make sure your disc is clean and Unscratched.  If yes you can check with the Support of EA , because they are the creators of The Sims. • Please help 2nd factory installed Hard Drive is not visible HPE-180 t

  My new HPE-180 t arrived a few hours ago just in time for my birthday.  I upgraded the standard configuration at Q = 2, 1 TB 7200 RPM hard drives.  I am able to find the two hard drives in the BIOS and Device Manager.  However, I can't see them in Windows Explorer.

  One thing I noticed was there seemed to be a BIOS definition related to RAID that has been activated.  The Matrix Raid BIOS showed the two dirves configured as no RAID.

  Any thoughts?  I really don't want to call HP support on the first day that I have my first HP computer.  The reason for getting a HP, that I was tired of dealing with Dell technical support.

  Go to administrative tools---> computer management and then disk management.  Fully extend the screen.  You now see the new hard drive?  You may need to initialize it by right mouse clicking on the new drive hard and then initialize.

  Also, go to--> Folder Options panel--> display tab and select disks and view hidden files.
