Plug-and-Play and DEP stop computer

Randomly, my computer tells me that there was a problem with the Plug-and-Play and Data Execution Prevention must shut down and restart windows. This happens everytime I turn on my computer in 10 minutes, even if I do not open a Web page. I ran scan from Microsoft, Windows Defender, and Norton Antivirus. No virus or detected problems. This just started 3 days ago. I have not recently downloaded any new program. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hello

You could try a system restore before it starts HOWEVER I wouldn't back to. better to solve
the question because if you perform the restore you may lose the changes you have made and the problem is likely to
come back. The onlyreason I mention this so that you know the possibilities if someone else
He suggests here or via other communications you might try. System Restore is ok on some points, but
last resort for this one.

The problem might actually be an add-on or another program to the origin of the problem and you should check that
1st.

What antivirus/antispyware/security products do you have on the machine? Be one you have NEVER on it
machines, including those that you have uninstalled (they leave leftovers behind which can cause strange problems).

You said Norton and it could well be part of the problem. You others have on this machine EVER?
(Windows Defender and MRT Scanner are fine).

Start - all programs - Accessores - system tools - IE with no Addons - does this work better?

IE - Tools - Internet Options - Advanced - tab click on restore, and then click Reset - apply / OK

IE - Tools - Internet Options - Security - reset all Zones by default level - apply / OK

not better?

Close IE and try again IE or IE with no Addons

IE - tools - manage Addons (for sure disable SSV2 if it is there, it is no longer necessary but Java always install
"(and it causes problems - you never update Java to go back in and turn it off again)." Search for other possible problems.

Windows Defender - tools - software explore - look for problems with programs that do not look right. Permit
are usually OK and "unauthorized" are not always bad. If in doubt about a program to ask about it here.

Could be that a BHO - BHOremover - free - standalone program, needs no installation, download and run - not all
are bad, but some can cause your question. (Toolbars are BHO)

Startup programs

Also get Malwarebytes - free - use as scanner only. If you ever suspect malware, and it would be
unusual with Prevx market except for an occasional cookie of low level (not a big deal), update it, then
run as a scanner.

http://www.Malwarebytes.org/

I would add prevx so.

Prevx - Home - small, fast, exceptional CLOUD free protection, working with other security programs. It comes
a scan only, VERY EFFICIENT, if it finds something to come back here or use Google to see how to remove.

If nothing else works you can try this however I would use as a last resort.

Online - APPLY - OK attacks close and restart IE

I hope this helps.

Get a Blue Screen of Death: Plug and Play detected an error, probably due to a bad driver?

I'm running on Windows Vista Home Basic. I don't know what happened, but this morning when I turned on my laptop Dell Inspiron 1420, the blue screen of death appeared saying that "Plug-and-Play detected an error, probably due to a faulty driver. She also asked me to 'Disable the BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing the' but I don't know how to do this, because it does not appear on my BIOS settings. In addition, the message suggested that I go on safe mode, but whenever I try to go on Safe Mode, the Blue Screen of Death keeps re-appearance, so I can not go on Safe Mode or the other. And one other weird thing is that when I press F8 (press the key to early startup options) I get to select an operating system to start: Microsoft Windows XP Embedded which is weird, because as I said, my OS is Windows Vista and I don't have any other OS installed in my laptop. 1. Which device you are trying to connect to the computer?
    2. You did no particular change in the computer?
    3. A device that has a code 24 in Device Manager?

Code 24 indicates that the device is not present or is not working properly, or does not all its drivers installed.

If the error code reappears, check that the device is properly connected to your computer. For example, remember that all the cables are correctly installed, or that the cards are properly housed in their locations.

    Hi all

    Thanks for reading this.

Just bought a number of HDD 2.0 USB 750 GB external PX1395E.
I want to use to back up files from my old computer to my new computer.
In fact, my old pc recognizes the HARD drive (plug-and-play) and I already copied the required data.

BUT: my new computer, with Windows XP Professional, Service pack 3. Does NOT recognize the HARD drive.
I used several (versions 1.1 and 2.0) USB ports and everything is connected to the way that it should.
Windows tells me that I have plugged 'something', but is unable to recognize what it is and I can't use the material.

I think I need a driver to make this work. Site Web de Toshiba does not provide this particular driver (I checked, but it cannot find).

Is there anyone with a solution?

    Thanks in advance.

Do you see the HARD drive in the disk management?

Another way is that reinstall you the chipset driver. Look at the Toshiba site to download and choose the right one.

Look for yellow exclamation marks Device Manager.
