Plug n play guard cutting and shut down my computer

every 15 to 20 minutes exactly, it seems that my computer says Plug a Plau stopped unexpectedly continues with something on the host process stops and then restarts my computer?

I know what you mean - it happened to me and I couldn't understand it. However, I went on a tour of service and found a few tools that could diagnose the failures of the system and thaey helped me to fix it. Well I hope its fixed - so I didn't have a stop for 6 days now. Then!, you must get a copy of "whocrashed" and run it after you plant then. It will tell you what caused the crash, sort of. If you see xusb21. It will be a driver error. It will give you a basic idea of the type of driver, but not the driver that is causing the problem. Then, go and install the latest version of Directx to be deemed websource. get a copy of windows 7 upgrade advisor and run the software after restarting your system. It checks for all is not software certificate and endorse the rest. You can browse the list and check the drivers and programs to ensure compatibility with the win7 OS you are running. Finally go to Control Panel tools system/administration/panel = and select Selective Startup box, then restart. Do this again and reset the settings to normal. That's all. IF you software runnignvirus of protection that interferes with some process, you must lower the protection or turn off completely so that the diagnostics is not interrupted.

  • When I try to shut down my computer with Firefox running it hangs and stops the shutdown process.

When I try to shut down my computer with Firefox running, it does not close properly during the closing. Instead, it crashes (as described in this article) and will continue to do so until I have stop the shutdown process and close it manually, where it will still not respond. There is the substantive issue. Here is the list of the relevant data to identify more precisely:

On the list of programs is still active during the closure, the window of Firefox starts only appearing once as it should be, but a few seconds after starting to hang, it begins to appear a second time on the bottom of the list, with the specific name of the page is a duplicate of whatever it is on the original.

This problem does not occur in safe mode, but it is not caused by one of my addons either, as I figured out after disabling all my addons with tools > Modules rather than the safe mode and still the problem.

He is listed as that passes several times a week, but that is simply because that's how many times I forgot to close Firefox before pressing 'closed' and leaves the room without bothering to check it works. It happens whenever I try to turn off the computer with Firefox is running well.

See this article--> occurs not in Safe Mode

Check and say whether his work after turning off hardware acceleration.

    Hi K - Ann,

Thank you for the above information.

I followed you instruction to back up the registry keys, but when I followed step number 7. Navigate to the location and look for the name of the file with the .reg extension and click Open, the message of answers that I received from the registry editor has been as follows: -.

Impossible to import C:\Documents and Settings\Compaq_Owner\My Documents\My Backup\Backup260910.reg of register: not all data was successfully written to the registry.  Some keys are open by the system or my other processes.

So I closed my computer and restarted. I then followed your instructions again (this time save the backup of the registry to a member in the same library, called "Backup260910bkup"

Yet once, when I followed the number of the step 7. Navigate to the location and look for the name of the file with the .reg extension and click Open, the message of answers that I received from the registry editor has been as follows: -.

Impossible to import C:\Documents and Settings\Compaq_Owner\My Documents\My Backup\Backup260910bkup.reg of register: not all data was successfully written to the registry.  Some keys are open by the system or my other processes.

Can you tell me what I need to do to work around this problem of backup of the registry?

I look forward to receiving your response.

    Thank you

  • Whenever I have shut down my computer I comnnection in bulk for my printers and having to reconnect again when I start-up

I have two printers (HP G85 & Konica Minolta 2500W magicvolor) on a small business connected by ethernet network and other cable series. The network server is managed by Windows XP Pro V2002 SP3I and I have access to the network through one of the two laptops Toshiba Tecra to operate Windows Vista Business SP1. My problem only occurs on one of the laptops (the other works fine). The problem is not always consistent and often causes different symptoms.

When starting the printer seems to be online and connected, however when I send a print to the system command accepts the order (or nothing at all), but the print window displays an error message after a few minutes. When I check the printer proerties sometimes I'm not able to display the port information at all. I have to cancel the print order, remove the printer from the network and 'Add printer' again. I send the print command and the printer now prints. Sometimes the print command works normally and sometimes, it takes a long time to print and the printer very very time consuming to complete the task from start to finish.

Now, I have added the printer once again I lose the connection again when I shut down the computer and must go through the same drama when I start again. The problem is that with a single computer.

    hchentanshankar,

    Welcome to the community.

I am sorry to read that you are experiencing this issue.  The battery is likely guilty, but you should check to see if there are any problems with the laptop or AC adapter / CC before you rush out and replace the battery.

I would start by checking the bios, boot the system by pressing F2 to enter the bios, you can also press F12 and select the bios menu.  Once in the bios look for the option for AC adapter warnings, if they are disabled they can and save the changes. If there is a problem with the adapter, you should start getting errors on the adapter.

If the adapter seems well, disconnect the battery from the system and turn off the laptop.  Wait an hour or two and then replace the battery and restart the system and see if you continue to get the message.   If you can run the laptop on battery only to leave the battery completely and then load it again and see if the problem returns.

I know that this may not be possible before you buy a new battery but if possible try a power adapter and the battery and see if the problem persists.  In this way, you can know if the problem follows the laptop battery or the AC adapter.

Please let me know what you find.
