Plug the motherboard?

I'm trying to find the specifications for a replacement motherboard.

The advice I want to put in my T400 is FRU 63Y1189

I wonder if this Council would support a fingerprint reader.

Yes, just need to install the Palm with the fingerprint reader.

My computer is a HP 5188-6734 motherboard and I can't find this one exactly, but I found a HP 5188-5588 one on e - bay for about $70, which seems to be and seems that I can tell, exactly like what I have.  Can I replace the one I have with this one without any problems?

    Looking for help.

You are this posting in the wrong forum, this is a forum of the laptop and is a desktop system.

Yes, you can get a video card, install and use it.  However, you sure is that the video works is not, or is it possible that the video didn't come out because you have a larger problem as the system's not initialization and display at all, because of a sort of failure such as food or the card mother?

If you have a spare PSU, you can try exchanging it instead of the original.  If you have a spare video card, even a few old (especially some former) PCI worthless, that you can install to see if you get any screen output.  Note that you need to maybe use the CMOS clear jumper or remove the battery for 10 minutes, while the power supply is disconnected after adding a video card, or by deleting and trying to use the video again.

I don't know if the specifications of the two Councils are quite similar, you should look at the datasheet for your system and compare that against what ebay sellers asking them is capable of.   Generally if you have a processor socket 775 lines they list and your using the same chipset, you should be able to simply plug in the parts and windows must be able to start pretty far to plug-and-play all the minor differences.  This is the situation in which I expected, you can buy the replacement cards model you mentioned and it works perfectly except possibly having to install a driver or two, but I can't be sure without detailed specifications.  They are very close to the info, I have found, might even be just a 2nd revision of the same Council of PCChips where everything what they changed was a clock IC generator or something similar that would not do your use in any way, except that to be sure, you have the good bios when looking on the HP site for the models with this Council in there instead of the bios for your system model #. If they take even a different bios which they cannot.

  • A1410n on the motherboard heat sensors

I have a pavillion a1410n that heat on the mother sensors on board who were not properly welded.  I looked on the HP website and can not find a local partner of HP who can fix the welds.  HP wants me to spend more than 300 for the computer shipped to them to repair or replace.  Is there another alternative?  I am on a fixed income and really can't afford that much $$, but need to use my computer.

I guess he is not a technician in electronics. I suspect that your system is no longer under warranty. It was a defect of manufacturing of the motherboard.

Why not buy a new replacement motherboard. They are not very expensive. Just don't buy it at HP... too much. The link will take you to one that sells for $59. Do a Google search for the card mother a1410n and you will find more. Once you have a replacement motherboard, you can bring to your independent technician and hire to remove the old and put in the new mobo. Then, your problem is solved. Since the new mobo is exactly the same as your old it is simply a matter of plug all components (including the HARD disk) and get to the top. Are no required reinstallation of the operating system that the HAL is the same.

  • HP s5503w, Windows 7 ultimate 64-bit. Want to connect a player card on the motherboard.

New to the Forum and looked but cannot find an answer to my question.

I have a desktop HP SlimLine s5503w; what I need an answer, that's where on the motherboard I plug the card reader I have. Searched both here and on the web with no luck. A friend gave me a card reader and thought it would be good to use on the 5503. Anyone with an answer? Thanks in advance for your help.

    Roger

    Here are the specifications of your desktop HP Pavilion Slimline s5503w and its card mother M2N68-(Narra5). Based on the specifications, the motherboard has four headers USB as shown below;

As long as the eMachines card reader is USB based, and uses the same pinout as the card mother HP, connect the drive to one of the 5-pin headers should work. Make sure that the four pins that have sons, go on the 4 pins on the motherboard... with the 'empty' PIN to the empty space.

Also note that there is nowhere to get this card reader into your computer.

    Hello

Internal fuses? The motherboard is dotted with many electronic and fuse pieces
I think that something is damaged on the motherboard.

But I can't believe how someone could connect the USB in the wrong direction
    Truly amazing what s

However, it looks like a material damage and I think you should contact the ASP technician to check the laptop

  • Tecra S2 - can I change the battery in the motherboard?

I have a Tecra S2 and it seems that the motherboard battery is dead. I removed the motherboard, and it seems that the battery is soldered in. Is it possible to replace the battery or should I get a new motherboard, and if I have a used motherboard I'm likely to find that its battery is drunk as well?

I don't want to take it to the service if it cannot be fixed because they load as bulls injured here, I'll have a service center if the battery can be changed

    Hello

Are you sure that the battery is empty? Normally, you can recharge the battery if you leave the AC adapter plugged in for a long time, e. g. 24 hours. Normally at this time, the battery can be fully charged.
    Check this box!

Normally, such a battery can be exchanged but I think an authorized service provider can give you a better answer here because it only a user to s forum.

  • I have a compaq presario sr19090uk desktop pc, and the motherboard was dead. :(

I have a compaq presario sr19090uk desktop pc running windows 7 64-bit with a card mother micro-ATX (ASUS - A8M2N - LA / Nodus M-GL8E) Socket AM2, Anthlon 64 3500 + socket 939and the motherboard was dead. What is a good replacement that takes in charge a cd/dvd ide burner and sata hard drive for undeer £100. I have also 4 GB DDR2 SDRAM installed.

    Thank you

    Tony

Here are the specifications of your Compaq Presario SR1909UK desktop and it is card mother A8M2N-(NodusM). There is a conflict in the two specifications for what CPU socket is actually used. The computer specifications claim a socket 939 CPU, while the motherboard plug State she has a socket AM2. You will need to examine your system to confirm what type of CPU and socket he did.

It can be difficult to locate a market after motherboard that will meet your needs as AM2 socket 939 about 5 years to 8 years and are several obsolete generation. Check e - Bay or similar in your area for a replacement card which meets you the specifications. Please keep in mind is likely to replace the HP OEM Board on your computer Windows become a "non-genuine" and require the purchase of a new operating system. Note that the recovery discs you created will not be also usable on your computer.

Please help me, preferable with some Assembly manuals.

    Thanks to you all

    > Please help me, preferable with some Assembly manuals.
That is the main problem. As you know Maintenance manuals is not an announcement of a public document, it is not easy help with this. You know as well as Googling all about you can find many documents, discussions, descriptions or even short films how to proceed.

Google a bit autour and maybe get you lucky and find instructions how to disassemble your A110.
As a certified technician hardware PC, you know the disassembly procedure must / should be gift follows defined measures to avoid damage. Specific for laptops, it's that there are many smallholders plastic that can be broken if something goes wrong.

I hope that some owner of A110 will be there to give you good advice how to do this.
By the way: did you found new motherboard for your laptop?

  • Satellite A60 - how to fix a female connector on the motherboard?

I have a Satellite A60 which is since 2005. About 6 months ago the CPU fan started running all the time and recently, the computer began to fade.

Thinking that it is ongoing overheating, I decided to completely disassemble the computer, clean it thoroughly, remove the old thermal paste and install one DIMM memory more important.

Well, everything goes like clockwork, until I tried to put the connector of the power on switch in the plug. It wasn't easy so I put gently a little more pressure on the connector using tweezers. At this time, the socket broke apart from the motherboard.

I don't have the tools for a welding job, but could a competent technician successfully reattach or is there a new mobo in my future.

    Thanks for the tips!

  • HP ENVY 700 - what is info from the motherboard?

TB how can he manage? Can I put a 4 TB HDD inside?

    P. S.

If the 'C' drive is infected it spreads to the other HARD drive.

Here is a link to the plug to motherboard you are looking for.

I use Norton Internet Security on my current loan of the HP Envy17-3002ea product for laptop and subsequently ESET Smart Essensials on my own PC and laptops. Two of these products are considered as offering superior protection against viruses, malware and adwarewhen compared to the firewall and security included with Windows 8.

What is infected is the operating system and some kind of files are used as a means of spreading the infection. The type of files that are infected, and which become means of author reproducing their payload depends on the type of virus, malware, or adware and the intention of the author.

  • P7 - 1420t: plug on motherboard

I added a USB to my HP p7 - 1420t.  The card requires a power connection 4 pins on the motherboard.  Where is the plug located on the motherboard?  Could I also use one of the connectors for power cable providing the hard drive and optical drive?

Yes, the point of connection used on the cable in Garland for SATA disks would be enough to power the USB card.

  • ENVY 750 - 055xt: screw the motherboard for socket mSATA

I have the HP ENVY 750-055xt, which uses the motherboard of Kaili.  There is a plug on the motherboard mSATA and I inserted an EVO of 850 Samsung 1 TB SSD.  Fortunately this solid state drive works and is immediately recognized by Windows 7, no other frills.  However, the motherboard doesn't have the small screws in the tiny mSATA solid drive on the motherboard.

Anyone know the right screw size used to secure the mSATA SSD to the motherboard in Kaili?

    Hi Big_Dave,

Thanks for your reply.  I have besides a picture of the Samsung 850 EVO mSATA SSD drive.

It fits in the slot on my motherboard HP MS-7826 (Kaili) mSATA.  Please see below.

The drive performs as well as my boot drive.  As it is not properly attached to the motherboard, the only thing holding is the strength of tensioning of the socket.  Ocassion the tiny jury comes off in the socket and it won't be visible in the path of startup.  Opening upward the chasis LIKE 750 and re - insert the mSATA jury will get the computer running again.  The little screw would prevent the Council of Regularisez making and the frustration of re-Foundation there.

Elsewhere in this forum, I found mention of the screw that I'm looking.  This is the same as that used in the dwelling of minimap express PCI used for the WiFi card.  The expertise here source describes the machine screws Flathead as a M1.6 size.  I ordered a M1.6 x 3 mm of China.  I think it should work.  Some here said they used a M2.0 to head flat screws in the slot mSATA and it seemed to work for them.

My motherboard HP isn't a slot m2.  If so, then I probably would have opted for the Samsung SSD m2, instead of the mSATA SSD drive.

For now, I think I solved the problem with the mother screw missing for the location of nSATA.  Nevertheless, Big_Dave, thanks for responding to me here.
