Plugin options

There are three "plugin extras" has elements of menu in various places (a file), a library and one in the library mode help. They have different functions?

Victoria answer is 100% correct, but to establish the 3:

* Help

* Library

* File

* ' Help' is to, well, help.

* "Library" is only available in the library module.

' * ' File ' does not exist in * modules of all.

So, in general, the file menu is used when it is a feature, you can call when you're in the develop module or any other module, and menu library is used when it is really just a feature "relating to libraries.

As Victoria said, is the author of the plugin - what to put where and be one, I can say: I put * everything * on the file menu, at first (so all my stuff would be in the same place), until my file menu got so loaded, it takes forever to scroll from one end to the other, how I started putting more things in the menu library. - either he was more of a practical and logistical, only philosophical thing...

But also, some SDK functions * only * work (properly) If you are in the module library (ugh..), then sometimes a feature is put in the menu library as a way to improve the chances that the feature will actually work.

PS - If I had my way, it would be just a main menu of plugins (as it is now for the 'Scripts' if defined), rather than trying to integrate and distribute their features in there with the rest of Lightroom - a time-lapse of hits get you the plugin and another of the GET you the functionality, so the keystrokes of a plugin function are not in competition with another plugin - oh well If I'm re-incarnate, maybe...

Sorry if too high a response-to-question ratio.

    Photoshop CC2015.5

From what I know of her, the HSB/HSL filter is included in photoshop cc 2015.5 in the Standard MultiPlugin

and since one of the cc 2014 updated because there was a bug in the optional when multi-plugin

    use in photoshop cc 2014.

If you don't need the Multiplugin optionally for photoshop cc 2015.5 and delete, since

is probably what is causing the plugins does not.

Regarding the ElectricImage Multiplugin optionally part, I don't know why adobe does not offer a separate for this plugin.

If in the photoshop help > System Info you look under required plug - ins: you should see HBL/HSL listed as included in the standard MultiPlug-en

You might try this plugin electric image instead

  • How can I REMOVE the Adobe Acrobat Plugin.

Whenever I have click on [disable] and then restart FF, he's back, still running.
I don't want Acrobat, because I prefer to use Foxit Reader.

The button in the Addons Manager is [disable] seems not be a [uninstall] or [delete this plugin] option. Or acrobat adobe appears in Add/Remove programs in Control Panel.

Neither fact I even install it in the first place. (Must have been filled by another application)

Whatever it is, I want that he went. Please tell me where stores FF addons, and what file to delete to get rid of this annoying nuisance.

OK, in this case we will remove the plugin manually:

    • First enter about: config in the address bar of firefox (confirmed the message information where it appears) and search for the preference named plugin.expose_full_path. Double-click it and change its value to true.
    • then enter topic: plugins in the location bar, there should be a file-full path shown next to the addon adcrobat obsolete
    • Use windows Explorer to navigate to this path and delete the file nppdf32.dll
    • then restart firefox and the plugin should be gone.
  • Adobe plugin PPAPI?

My mac is beachballing since I did the OSXupdcombo at El Capitan and Safari 9.0.3. I have to close out of Safari, several times a day, especially when to switch to one high graphic site to another, for example. Google images to Pinterest.  I did an etrecheck who said that my mac has been successful and that its excellent performance. He noted that my Adobe Flash was outdated, however, when I checked for updates via system preferences, he says my Flash has been updated (20.0.0.3060) but the PPAPI plugin option has not been verified.  I have to check this box to speed up my mac?

(I have no apps on my mac which did not come through the Apple's App Store with the exception of Malwarebytes and AdBlock, which I've had for over 2 years with no problem.)

FWIW, the plugin PPAPI is built into Google Chrome flash player if you do not need. Not sure why it is available for download. I use AdBlock Plus for Safari. Don't know if that makes a difference, even if they are of different developers.

  • How to display the current Options in the window treatment result

    Hello

I am preparing customized results processing plugin in TestStand. TS help I can use Base.OptionsDescriptionExpression to set the Options column in the window treatment result. In this column may consult the summary current settings. I want to display the path of the directory of report in this document, as in the sample report in Simple text format. Unfortunately I'm not able to do this...

I use FileGlobals.ModelPluginComponentDescription.Default.InitializationExpression to set default report path, in plugin options, by using the following expression:

    #NoValidation, ModelPlugin.PluginSpecific.Options.ReportOptions.Directory = RunState.Engine.GetTestStandPath (TestStandPath_Public) + "\\Reports.

Then I changed FileGlobals.ModelPluginComponentDescription.Default.Base.OptionsDescriptionExpression into #NoValidation, ModelPlugin.PluginSpecific.Options.ReportOptions.Directory which should contains the default path for the report estimated at InitializationExpression and this directory should be displayed in the column of the Options in the window treatment result.

I don't know what Miss me, because it doesn't work. When I use the breakpoint in model Plugin - configure the Standard Options to see the Parameters.ModelPlugin.Base.OptionsDescriptionExpression, it displays:

#NoValidation, / / disable validation because higher level ModelPlugin property exists only when running

    ""

So it seems that my Default.Base is not copied in Parameters.ModelPlugin.Base

So how do you view the current Options (at least report the path) in the window treatment outcome? Help, please

OK, I think what is happening. FileGlobals.ModelPluginComponentDescription.InitializationExpression is evaluated when I add the new instance of the result new treatment-> insert plugin. Then each window treatment of the result of time shows that Parameters.modelplugin.base.optionsdescriptionexpression is evaluated to update the Options column.

  • Scanning options disappeared with Windows Installer 8.1

Recently bought a new laptop with Windows 8.1.  Finally managed to get my PhotosmartPlus B209 connected so it'll print and scan.  On my old laptop, when I scanned it pictures, there was a lot of options to choose from before that I did the actual analysis: several images, resize, rotate, resolution, color correction, to name a few.  Now, on the only option I have is the resolution and can only scan a whole page - not many images.  What Miss me?  What should I do to get all my previous options available?  Added note, I had to change my PhotoImpact 12 PhotoShop elements like my photo editor.

Found my own answer.  HP tools for scanning only works on the TWAIN compatible devices.  Photoshop has a plugin option that does not install automatically.  Once I found and copied into the correct plug-ins folder, everything works again.

  • Lightroom plugins

Just installed Lightroom cc for the 1st time. Import plugins for Aperture/iPhoto and all ON1 plugins are grayed out.

Just installed Lightroom cc for the 1st time. Import plugins for Aperture/iPhoto and all ON1 plugins are grayed out.

Do you want to say that the file menu command > plugin options > Import Aperture library is grayed out?

(Note that the names of the plugins from the menu, for example "Aperture/iPhoto importing plug-ins", will be always grayed out).

If your catalog is brand new and empty, try to quit and restart LR. There is a minor bug where many commands of menu plugin will be greyed out on a new catalog, but restarting LR fix the problem.

With plugins ON1, I think that you will need at least a photo to select when you call.

You will not be able to reinstall the Aperture/iPhoto Plugin importer, because that comes with LR.

  • Plugins do not work in Lightroom CC trial

None of the plugins installed has no functionality in my trial version of lightroom cc.  I see that they are enabled (green button lights etc.) in the plugin Manager, however there is no option for me to sign to any plug-ins installed (for example, facebook, smugmug, etc.) or publish to the famous plugins.

    Help, please!

    Hi Tanuj,

Thanks a lot for your answer.  I have corrected the problem.  I was doing something very stupid. I thought that I needed to go to 'manage plugins' for the register/log in plugin with lightroom applications.  But I don't look at the bottom left of the left menu bar.  My folder bar was opened and he took all the space of the screen so I didn't know that management plugins options were indeed in the LH bar menu (just way down-found after I minimized my files).  Part of my learning curve of light-room I guess!

    Thank you

  • Photoshop plugin or script

    Dear expert Photoshop,

I have a very specific question, I would like to ask. We manufacture robots photo and our software can control robots, flashbulbs and cameras. We want to put in place tools to edit photos as well. Photoshop seems to be the obvious choice. We need to use the Camera Raw tools (to convert raw files) and Photoshop (for advanced as freemasking or chromakey masking techniques). The questions are:

    (1) is it still possible to apply Photoshop tools in our application (with license valid Photoshop of course)

    (2) is the best way to control Photoshop in the background of our application of scripts or write our application as a plug-in into Photoshop?

I'll be happy to provide more information if anyone is interested.

    Cheers, Honza.

    (1) If you just need to read files camera raw native, PS already has this ability. There is no way to script ACR itself, but you have some control over how a native raw or DNG file is loaded. However, there is no way to a native raw file conversion script in a DNG file that I know. I asked for control of script on ACR for years but I don't think that it will never happen.

    (2) being a geek PS/JS, I would choose drive PS via script rather than using the plugin API. The plugin option will be more complicated, while the PS/JS option gives you many more options to choose from; implementation find the right option can be pretty tricky himself.

  • bqtype = plugin in question smartcut

We use IR 11.1.2.1. When you use the smartcut for a document (1) IR in the workspace, we added 'bqtype = plugin' in the end, to use the plugin, instead of the workspace.
IR document1 is called by another document (2) IR within the workspace.
With the plugin option specified in the url, it seems to open a tab in the workspace (which looks a bit like the plug-in).
To use this option, users need to have the plugin installed?
    Thank you.

    Yes

If you are using ' bqtype = plugin "then you need to plug in installed regardless if launching the plug-in as new framework window or inside the Workspace

  • Add-ons/Plugins without recovery?

    Hello

I would like to know: what is the best way to create an additional, small add-on or plugin package (for use with AppLink) for an existing, large, thinstalled software without needing a recovery complete?

I wonder if everybody keeps an instant huge tree in their packaging vms in the case where an add-on/additional plugin is required for xy software package to be used through AppLink.

I don't want to use sbmerge to inject the add-it/plugin, but the AppLink method allows to load (for different reasons). I do not have a snapshot of initial installation, but I its project folder, is there way to "re-inject" this OS vm packaging having the zero point original that matches the thinstalled software (you have warranty on picking up, no matter how 'clean' of the virtual machine is)? I also took a look at sbmerge and thought "Hey, sbmerge has every unique information about the software, the add-it/plugin newly installed and the original project folder - it displays even exactly what has changed, why is there a switch to create a new package out of it?

Miss me some sort of feature to create separate additional packages for existing devices without needing the snapshot of the virtual machine original capture of the existing software.

Is there a way to do this?

Any help on this is appreciated.

    Hello

What I propose is a sneaky, but work thing:

Create a new folder and copy the file build.bat and package.ini from your original project. Don't change anything yet.

Then run the sbmerge against this (empty) project. All the settings will be imported and the folders and files of containers registry will be created.

Finally able to shape the package.ini on the 'module', so it gets (at least) a new name of the inventory and sandbox (together the isolation mode of the project to "Merged" didn't prevent presenting conflicts isolation mode). I guess you must also update (exe created) entry points. Favorite: just create a .dat referring to a placeholder / 'cmd.exe '.

(edit :) Also clean up the project and delete all is not aimed to capture files...

Build it now (cross your fingers you he patched correctly) and put it in your initial application as a plugin (optional).

TADA, updated functionality in your application: P

  • Bug in folder plugins PSE10

I tried to install my plugins Topaz Labs who has worked in PSE9 for more than 3 hours . They never came in the menu filters PSE10. I completely uninstalled and then re-installed, created shortcuts and spent a lot of time searching the topaz Labs and the Adobe forums.

It seems that PSE10 does not recognize its own Optional Plug-Ins folder. Once I checked the Preferences > Plug-ins > additional Plug-ins folder box and pointed to the optional Plug-Ins folder, plugins finally appeared after a reboot.

Obviously PSE10 should use its own default plugin, just like the previous versions files (at least I think they did - I do not remember having to select the file myself in the past, or I wouldn't have so much trouble this time).

This folder contains the optional Twain plug-in to install in the regular plug-ins folder, so it is not supposed to be read by PES 10.

The reason for this is there is problems with some drivers scanner and adobe decided to do both optional from PES 9 plugin.

You should install the "Topaz" plugin in the plugins folder, not the plugins option, then PES 10 folder should load the plugin

without having to set a path to the plugin in preferences.
