• Red Giant Plug-Ins and CC 2014

  I thought that was one of the main benefits for the Adobe subscription model that new features would be added automatically?  Currently, I have problems with Red Giant Software not recognized by PP CC 2014 (i.e. Colorista and Magic Bullet Looks)-after uninstalling the old version of PP CC.  After all, why would I want 2 versions of all my applications?  Can someone help me understand this decision and how to solve my problems of red giant?  Thank you.

  Moreover, I was able to fix the universe of red giant, uninstalling and reinstalling the software, but I don't want to make Colorista and others.  Does anyone have a better way?

  Adobe had updates important & changes in October 2013 and December 2013, but those that do not require a new application.  Why now?

  This update cause some major problems in our pipeline and we had to go back and install previous versions of the applications during a tight deadline to get our products to deliver out of the door... So I like the idea of 'never touch a system running' and add the new version in parallel to the place...

  But as you write plugins are also to be considered here. By default the should function in the older version and you should be able to install them on the new version to check if everything works well...

  If I think about Autodesk software there is the same situaltion: install us the new version 2013... 2014 2015 in parallel and adding then all plugins. If everything works as planned the next to the last version can be uninstalled from the system.

  If you have a stable system and a new system all the time...

  --> CC2014 Apps now are in the approval stage. We test with our son and if there are no show stoppers we put the signal to move all workstations at the same time not company wide...

• I can't seem to install the Red Giant Magic Bullet Suite for CS6

  Hello, I have recently updated since cs 5.5 because of the commotion that was performed on the new options and faster work speed. But as I tried to install plugins upgraded inside, I walked into certain disorders. I can't seem to be able to install the red giant magic bullet suite 11.4.1 a reason any. After I installed the whole package, only InstantHD effect appears as being installed. I tried to solve this problem with their responses to the site but I can't find anything on this problem. So if someone knows how to solve this problem, I would really appreciate your help.

  I installed the CS6 on the c: / drive and everything worked. I spoke with the people at red giant and said that their products are made to be installed in the default directory. I guess they'll fix things later...

• Looks Red Giant - completely missing

  OK, I'm out of my mind.

  I upgraded to CS5 a couple of weeks. I went through the usual agony updated plug ins and discover those that would work is no longer because of compatibility issues. My main filter package, "Vitascene" ProDad, don't work anymore. So, I bought Magic Bullet Looks, which I was quite pleased and quickly filled two small projects with it.

  I already had their Starglow and shine and saw that I had to pay for an upgrade for these programs use them on CS5. I bought the upgrade. I have installed two of them and only Shine would appear in the "Trapcode" folder in the effects tab. I was too busy to follow it until today. I called their tech support and we found that the files for Starglow had written in a file at random. We have fixed this problem by installing Starglow in the appropriate folder:

  disk space/program files/Adobe/common/plugin/cs5/mediacore

  Well, everything was Starglow show, but Shine more appeared in the record of effects trapcode in PP.

  The person tech had me start PP, while now the SHIFT key, until the Welcome screen appeared and told me it would reset the plugins. I did, and when I went into the program again, look had completely disappeared and a misfire (a free set of plug-ins that comes with looks) was still there, but only 2 of 14 plugins were in the record of failures. Starglow appeared, but no brightness.

  Suggestions only support of red giant could give me was to install and uninstall programs - I've done about 20 times since then. I even uninstalled CS5 and reinstalled it (more updates).

  So now, what I have is all ins plug in their appropriate places in the main folder of the media, but nothing appear in PP except Starglow and two missed plugins.

  I'm at my wits end. I have two projects underway which depend on these filters. Does anyone have any suggestions?

• Flashing green and Red pixels

  Hey, guys!

  I'm new to the forum and I apologize in advance if there is another thread with the same problem. I wanted to just share some pictures and maybe get answers to my problems. As mentioned in the legend my macbook air that I bought last year has green and Red pixels flashing on the screen. It covers just a vertical strip of 3-4 cm on the left side. It does not affect the performance but it gets really annoying. Im guessing there is something faulty with the video card or the matrix of pixels.

  It looks like a bad graphics card. Bring any Apple store, it must be covered under AppleCare.

  Hi guys, I have a Qosmio F60. The problem, I think that I am facing right now, it of the flashes between blue and Red webcam for awhile and goes back to blue. And it's kind of hot behind the webcam on the laptop cover.

  Is it supposed to become hot when I make video calls?

  The webcam works properly? Can you use this as supposed?

  Incidentally that cam should not get hot, I think the FL inverter that is placed behind the screen is hot, but it's ok.

  I did the menus animated before on Bluray discs before, but this time, the video clip is made with stutters and Red images. I tried back during the music video for first and replacing the assets again but still the same. I tried to lower the transmission speed and tried to force again to transcode the video resource, but nothing has worked. Does anyone have the same experience or a glimpse of how I can fix this. My only guess is that it may have to do with the length that it is the longest video resource I've used in a menu at 59 seconds of time.

  "Stuttering" is as it is jumping around in the video clip... as randomly grabbing an image of one or two seconds in front or behind.

  I don't remember the details, but I think that something like this has been a problem known at some point.

  Then I try using Media Encoder to transcode a reminder instead. I will also try to reduce the maximum flow rate from 25 to 15.

  Hi, I upgraded to El Capitan on my iMac a few days ago, but I did have a problem with first Pro 2015 until now so it may not be El Capitan. Running the latest version of the two.

  Every time I open any project, whenever I play video or monitor it plays perfectly and without lag, but whenever I stop the video or timeline, I get a version very strange stripe yellow and red of the alembic. Nothing wrong with the audio.

  Go to the file/project settings/general and change the rendering on "Mercury Playback Engine software only" engine.

  Press OK, you will get a dialog box in which select "remove previews."

  Try these steps and it should work.
