• Flow RSS Podcast guid

  Usually, I put the address of the url in the guid. But now I realize account than some previous episodes the guid address was incorrect. I have read the documentation from Apple, and I understand that the guid can be anything, the only condition is that it must be unique in each episode. But if I go to the rss address and I click on the episode that the link goes to the address of the guid and not the rigid url, I don't know why. Documentation from Apple also said that I should not change the contents of guid:

  'Assign the GUID of an episode only once and never change. New GUID to existing episodes may cause problems with the placement of the list and chart of your podcast in the iTunes Store. »

  For a starting off of your "enclosure" tag does not contain a URL works: it must be a complete URL with the http:// and the domain name. What you have is a relative address, which will work on your computer. It is still your "guid" tag  As to your getting the URL of guid, I can't tell without being able to test the stream. Ask a question about a food without posting the URL won't make it possible to give precise answers. No URL does not work, so if you see something I don't expect anyone else to.

  As say Apple you shouldn't change the guid, however if you have changed the tag to read < isPermaLink guid = "false" > This should be OK, as long as the content is unique not only for you but any other podcast (this is why many use the URL of the media file, which must be unique). iTunes uses the tag 'guid' to check if there is a new episode, so change it will result in the relevant episode resembling a new and probably download again for subscribers.

• Title of my podcast is not displayed in ITunes

  Your "title" tag is empty, where the 'no title' in iTunes. I can't advise on Powerpress but Shawngordo, who works for them, sometimes messages in the forum producing Podcasts and I asked guests to move this thread. (This forum is the best place to ask, on a podcast, you did yourself.)

• Stop iTunes rename files from Podcast

  I am running iTunes on Windows 10 12.1.5.21. It is renaming downloaded podcast files based on the title tag. How can I keep the original names in his diet, not to rename them?

  You can not. You may be able to rename it in a format customized with my CustomRenamer script or something similar, but that requires that you disable the option keep organized for the rest of your library.

• Latest Podcast episode not updated in iTunes

  Hello

  For the first time our last podcast episode (we are on episode #18) it does not appear in iTunes - not even for subscribers, like me. My flow is updated very well, he retired to a third party validator and I am able to find the episode in Stitcher-and - Google Play, but iTunes does not seem to recognize it.

  I clicked manually "Refresh" in iTunes Podcast Connect, but it doesn't seem to help.

  The only clue is that last week is the first time, the episode did not show immediately in the iTunes store. Downloaded immediately for subscribers, he did not himself available in the iTunes store for about 24 hours. What I read is not terribly unusual, so we were not concerned. But this week is different without showing for subscribers.

  The only other thing I notice is my URL of mirror (that I found in the dashboard Podcast Connect) doesn't seem to be loading. My understanding is that it is the permanent URL of feed iTunes creates I can change my RSS URL feed without disrupting the subscribers. I have not changed my feed URL, but if if subscribers are feeding off the coast of this mirror URL and it does not work, it is the root of the problem? Not that I know how to fix the URL of mirror...

  With the new IOS, the Podcast app (your podcast app) has stopped working, they no longer updated correctly or they tell me I have a new episode of one of my subscriptions. Looking for my laptop there are at least three new episodes that did not and do not come through on my devices. I tried to turn on their and back, remove the application and then do a hard turn off on all devices, but nothing helps.

  I too have this problem but mine is on my iPhone 6 s.  I use my podcast app at least 6 times a day and it does NOT this morning.  Since the update of iOS10, the podcast app has had many problems.  But it's clearly the worst.

  On my iPod Touch (NKHO2LL/A) running 10.0.2 not playing my audio recorded for this podcast (intro, comment but will play music and recorded interview):

• ITunes does not sync Apple podcast app with my Nano

  iTunes does not synchronize my Apple podcast app, with my ipod nanos podcasts.

  Apple: I think to buy a Apple Watch, but I love my podcasts.  Why is there an app to watch podcasts?  Watch + Bluetooth headset = medium ideal to listen to podcasts when we're working.  Don't want to have to carry my iphone when you work if I don't have to!

• Odd behaviour of app Podcast after 10 IOS 'upgrade '.

  Is anything made to meet all of the eccentric behavior in the Podcast poster 10 IOS app? All kind of strange things. No bar downloading the episodes. When checking for updates, it does not seem to do anything. I have to constantly log in subscription base podcasts. Pretty frustrating.

• Updated to iOS 10 on ipad and podcast app grabbed 1 G space

  After upgrading to iOS 10 my ipad 4 podcast caught 1 G space and I can't delete it, even watch to see what documents and data take up this space.  I use my podcast every day and download talk, one episode at a time and have never used something close to 1 G memory. Now, all of a sudden I use 1 G?

  How can I solve this problem?  How will I know what data on this App and how to remove that?

  Podcast is an integrated application and can not be deleted, so I am at a loss as to how I release this space

  Try these standard troubleshooting steps. Restoration often clears hogs memory stabborn.

• Podcast of older iPod transfer

  My iMac is running OSX10.10.5 Yosemite and iTunes 12.3.3.17. I have an iPod more old which does not show the Podcasts of the class. Can I transfer a podcast of my iTunes on the iMac to the iPod and just list in another category?

  It should be a 3rd gen iPod "classic" way in 2003 to not show Podcasts on its screen.  Even my old 4th gen iPod has category Podcasts on its screen.

  Assuming that your iPod is not that old, you may have configured in Podcasts show not on the main menu screen.  Enter embedded iPod Settingsand find the setting in the Main Menu .  On my 5th generation iPod nano, its

  Settings-> general-> main Menu

  but it may be different for your model of iPod.  Under the Main Menu , you can select what is shown (and which is not displayed) on the screen of the main menu of the iPod.  Make sure Podcasts is activated (or say 'On') beside him.

  If your iPod is actually old enough to have existed before Podcasts became a separate category in iTunes, you can always have iTunes sync podcasts to iPod (in podcast).  The name of podcast is the name of the album.  On the iPod, see Albums to find the podcast, then select it to find the episodes.

  You can change the media Type of podcasts to be something else, but you probably don't want to do if it is not necessary.
