In my mind, I would always open the object bound and smart (color chart), change the color and it should be updated for the buttons in all of my open documents.

  This is not updated in the document all. Need to go in the dynamic button object and update updated content.

  I can't resize a photo when I drag it to a new layer of another open project. I don't know if it's because it's a dynamic object or what. My workflow is

  photo Raw capture, edit in raw, open in new project as a smart layer, resize (fine), select split screen showing this project and the other. Then I drag the photo through to the other project. Opens a new layer in the project that I copied my picture, but I can't resize it for a reason any.

• What is the best way to manipulate the shape of a layer to smart object in Photoshop?

  I have a smart object in photoshop which is a rectangle, and I want to deform slightly so it looks it was filed on the ground (basically, I need to change the position of the corners to make it look in perspective).

  If I did that to an object in Illustrator I was going to just use the direct Selection tool and drag the anchor points in the corners of the rectangle. I know there is a direct selection tool in Photoshop, but my smart object doesn't seem to have all the anchor points on it to manipulate (v. new Photoshop user, sorry).

  I know you can use a mesh of string objects, but as this is just a simple rectangle I was hoping that it would be a less complicated way? That it's just the positioning of the corners that must fit.

  You can use Edition > free transform or Ctry/Cmd-T, to reshap the smart object.

  I was really kissing linked smart objects recently. However I found on a few occasions, there are cases where a linked smart object seems to strangely, and I see pixels rounded curiously - almost as if she started scaling the picture a bit.
