Popup desplays at startup

remove the popup banner notice of rescission

Hello

1. that you get this message popup of error at startup of the system or at the launch of Internet Explorer?

Startup error messages occur if the program or the application is defective. If you know which program is defective, we recommend to uninstall the program and check the result.

Step 1: If you don't know exactly what is causing the problem, try to clean boot. Clean boot is a way to find which program is causing the problem.
1. follow "step 1: perform a clean boot ' to disable all non-Microsoft programs and check if the problem persists: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135
2. If the problem does not persist in the boot, it means that a non-Microsoft program is causing the problem. To determine which program is causing the problem, try "step 2: enable half the services" to "step 6: resolve the problem" to find the culprit: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135
3. once the above two steps are executed, follow "step 7: reset the computer to start as usual": http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

Post back with the results, so that we can help you further.

Kind regards
Syed

    Hello

    Have you made changes on the computer before this problem?

    I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1:

    Put the computer in a clean boot state, then check if that helps you.

    How to solve the problem by running the clean boot in Windows Vista:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

    Note: Once you have completed troubleshooting, perform the steps in the step 7: to reset the computer as usual.

    Method 2:

    Run the Microsoft Safety Scanner and check if there are any threats found.

    Microsoft safety scanner: http://www.microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

    Note: If no threat found check if the file is necessary or not, then delete it.

    Also make sure that the popup is secure and then install if necessary. Windows updates are all secure and this is only the computer and Windows manufacturer. Optional updates are the manufacturer of the computer and the manufacturer of the application that you have installed. Important updates are Microsoft and it must be installed. I also suggest you try to install Service pack 2 on your computer and check if that helps.

    Learn how to install Windows Vista Service Pack 2 (SP2):

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/learn-how-to-install-Windows-Vista-Service-Pack-2-SP2

    Hope the information is useful.

    Hi lobsta21,

    If you need Services Terminal Server or to prevent a person from remote desktopping in your system, you can disable TS on your computer and which should get rid of the boot error message. Try this:

  • Open a Popup screen on startup of the Application

    I know this is probably an easy thing to do but I'm new on this and the command I use to open a pop-up window in the menu doesn't seem to work when I try to use it to open a when the application starts.  I put this command in several places in the screen method and the method of opening with no luck.  Is someone can you please tell me what I need to do

    UiApplication.getUiApplication () .pushScreen (new LicenseAgreementPopup());

    I finally I want to add a way to accept or reject the license agreement but will just simply get the popup to display when my application starts :-)

    Thank you

    Thanks, the key is the word "after" I put the order right after my main application screen has been pushed and it worked.  I knew it was something easy

    SerializableAttribute public class extends UiApplication MapBack
    {
    String lv_continue;

    Public Shared Sub main (String [] args)
    {
    IdApp MapBack = new MapBack();
    idApp.enterEventDispatcher ();
    }

    public MapBack()
    {
    pushScreen (new MapBackScreen());
    UiApplication.getUiApplication () .pushScreen (new MapBackScreen.LicenseAgreementPopup ());
    }

  • How to remove annoying POPUPS ON STARTUP

    HI -.

    After that I have on intel.com attempted to update my graphics driver Mobile Intel (r) 965 Express Chipset Family my startup screen displays a popup with the text box:

    C:\Windows\System32\igfxtray.exe

    I wonder 'Run' or 'Cancel', but no matter what I choose exact same popup appears at startup again and I have to click 3 times Cancel to get the box disappear - it does not seem to affect my use of the laptop but it is a little annoying as his watch.

    On the help forum windows.com I followed suggestions without help unless the suggestion on Regedit open because many have said med does not tinker in Regedit

    I have no successfully posed this question on a forum within intel.com

    Someone at - it there a suggestion what to do?

    Thanks in advance

    DonOlesen

    Hello

    The igfxtray.exe seems belongs to the Intel driver and this file belongs to a software for fast access to the control panel via an icon in system tray of graphs based on Intel processors.
    Usually, you should see a small display Intel icon in the task bar in the lower right.
    The igfxtray.exe controls this.

    So you can also disable this in msconfig.
    Search type msconfig. Then, choose the StarUp tab and choose Remove the mark of the entry containing the igfxtray.exe
    Now save the changes and restart the device

    To disable this popup.

  • Uninstall Drivercure application

    How to completely uninstall Drivercure of the system? I already uninstalled from the control panel using Add/Remove program and also in the list all the. But the program icon is displayed in the system tray and its popup on windows startup. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello jenvint

    Search in msconfig and remove the control from it

    Start/run and type

    Msconfig

    Ok

    Startup tab

    Keep the page open then click on the link below. It will tell you what are all the entries and see if you can disable them or not. It will also identify malicious programs.  Turn off everything that is not necessary to run at startup

    http://www.SysInfo.org/StartupList.php

    Read the key at the top of page. Use the search box to check all your entries

    When you restart, you will get a message saying that you have begun in "Selective startup" click "don't show this message again" and then click OK

  • Desktop Window Manager has stopped working and was closed

    One of our machines (HP Pavilion dv7 Notebook PC running Windows Vista x 64) will receive the error "Desktop Window Manager has stopped working and was closed" with lots of close error. He reappears (as well as all windows flasher to non-aero, then back to aero) in a few minutes, spends about 5 times per hour.

    I did some research on this and have already taken the following measures without a bit of luck:

    1 run the command chkdsk / SFC scan - nothing found via chkdsk, SFC found some issues fixed, and some, it did not set. Them that it solves not all related to Windows Sidebar, which I do not / does not start.

    2. put updated drivers for ATI Radeon 3200HD - this had a lot of new questions. Installing caused newer drivers ATI catalyst to no longer work with errors during installation and popup errors at startup. After trying several solutions workaround to try to get installed it, I ended up coming back to the driver that came with the laptop, that are properly installed and working without error. I am skeptical of update of this stable driver as a solution to the dwm.exe error.

    3. this problem just started yesterday, that occur with not a lot of changes. Other than updates of windows (I think that .NET framework and a few other updates installed), I replaced NOD32 antivirus with Bitdefender antivirus. The system was stable with bitdefender for about 2 weeks, so I'm not convinced that this program is causing the error.

    4. the event viewer shows the following:

    Failing application Dwm.exe, version 6.0.6002.18005, time stamp 0x49e02696, failed module ntdll.dll, version 6.0.6002.18881, time stamp 0x51da3d16, exception code 0 x 80000003, offset 0x00000000000461f0, process id 0 x 124 error, start the application time 0x01cea0365a457adc.

    Offset, process id and start on time all vary, but there are a lot of these application errors in the viewer all screaming Dwm.exe like the failing application.

    What should be my next course of action?

    You do not receive an error but a caveat. NTStatus results (the set of codes execption used by ntdll - the failed module) begin to 0 for no error, 4 for information (you should never see this), 8 for putting guard and C for error.

    It's your specific error.

    Problem is, you shouldn't have breakpoints. Breakpoints are set by debuggers and stop the execution of the program to the State of the program can be examined. There should be no breakpoints in a retail system. More breakpoints are inserted into memory during execution of the program in a debugger. They tend not to do in the actual file.

    So here are two assumptions, either you have no exit code, IE test code (driver?). Or you have a running program that behaves like a debugger (which is suspect).

    Each of the three towers of programs, services, and drivers in increasing amounts. So restrict the possible culprits.

    Click Start - all programs - Accessories - run and type

  • Form1 popup at startup

    Good so I found an interesting problem where whenever I start my computer, I get a pop up in the upper left corner of my screen named "Form1". Now I've already looked everywhere on how to solve this problem, but nothing really seems to help.

    Form1 contains a message 'click on Skip Ad to close this window' so that a Linkbucks advertisement which leads me to believe that it is advertising and other software, there is also a section under advertising which have a box saying "your download is ready" with a button download and dubious 100% Safe' message below.

    I've done a bit of Malware Bytes and put in quarantine of some issues that came, but my computer restarts the window form 1 proceeded to pop up again.

    I already open MSConfig and looked through my boot options, but it seems to be nothing in respect to the pop - up of Form1 at all in there, think of you guys could give me help? It would be much appreciated.

    In addition, there is an element of startup called "Sony", but he says that the manufacturer is "Unknown", I doubt that its related to the pop up of Form1 because of the name, but I've been wrong before. In fact, I'm pretty sure it's related to Sony Vegas.

    I would also like to add that this popup can be closed using the window manager of tasks under 'Applications', but there will be poster at every start

    Use Autoruns and verify the path.

    Also try the clean boot.

  • Popup L50-A-19N - Toshiba ECO Utility - satellite at startup

    Hello

    First of all please explain to me exactly how the ECO mode, IE. If it turns on some additional characteristic economy to those in power supply management profile and so characteristic ECO affect sort operation laptop AC power mode as to performance and video quality.

    Secondly, I need to know if in ECO mode battery charge is completely ignored so it doesnot cycle charge-discharge cycles if the laptop is tuened on long pperiods.

    Secondly can I have a tip how to turn off Toshiba ECO popup windows on each Windows starts.
    I don't want to uninstall it yet but don't want to close the pop-up window every time Windows starts, boring

    Hello

    Please don't get me wrong, but until someone here write a long story about this tool I recommend to start and click the help button. After doing this, you can check this help document and read all about this little tool designed by Toshiba.
    Is that this tool is designed to reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions. With the help of this book performance will be reduced too, so you should use it when you need performance for some operations of some.

    When you use the option settings check all the options it and disable the option you want to use.

    In General, this tool is simply without a lot of options and it is designed for energy saving, especially if you use the battery power book.
    > if in ECO mode battery charge is completely ignored so it doesnot cycle charge-discharge cycles if the laptop is tuened over long periods.
    Unfortunately I can't offer an exact answer to this question but I think only utilitarian eco doesn t have a any influence on these technical issues. The principle, how the machine works (ESF) is, in my opinion, not changed when you use the eco mode.

  • Dynadock - strange popup at startup!

    Hello

    I just bought & installed a Dynadock to my Satellite A100. Since the installation, I get a pretty large window pop up whenever I start.

    The window is called "CmEyeDialog, it has two buttons top right each with"? "on them, and in the body, he said ' TODO:?

    I installed the update 2.03 compared to the original, all uninstalled then installed just the 2.03 - whenever this window, except to reboot after everything uninstalling, if no process Dynadock were aboard.
    Everyone recognizes this glitch?

    See you soon
    Richard

    I don't know if this pop-up has something to do with the software Dynadock Mr. but who knows
    However, I recommend installing CCLeaner tool. It is a freeware program (google simply) that cleans up the registry and fix the operating system.
    It s useful and I use it also.

    Then, start the msconfig and check the last tab called startup if no strange service and is not known is initially loaded.
