Portege R500 error reading DVD - not enough video memory

I tried to fix this by trying other decoders and also reinstalled WinDVD.
I also thought that maybe the dynamic video memory technology is problems while I reinstalled the Intel gfx driver.

Is there something I can do to check if the dynamics of the video memory is working as it should?
Any other ideas?

Thank you...

Hello

I think that this has nothing to do with the available memory or graphics card
What operating system do you use?

Have you installed all the drivers available from the European pilot of Toshiba page?

What the use of the different actors?
I m using free VLC player. You can play almost all the files. It s small and free.

Take a look in google and check it out!

  • Print portfolio in Adobe Reader MS - ' not enough memory... »

    Hello everyone,

Since the last update to version 15.016.20039 I received the message "there is not enough free memory to complete this operation" every time that I try to print an Adobe Acrobat Reader DC portfolio. Until this last update, I had not experienced this problem. I am able to open the different components of the portfolio of print them separately; However, it is much more time on all received portfolios.

I tested it on Windows 7 and 10 OS 64 bit with 8 GB of RAM.

Is that what someone else has the same problems, or you can comment on the settings that I could see that has changed in the last update that could solve this problem?

    Hello

  • Add ESX server assessment to VC with error: there is not enough license installed to run the operation.

    Hi all:

I added two esx servers in my vc received the error: there is not enough licnese installed to run the operation.

There are some servers esx with correct license file in VI3.5U3 in my environment. I want to add more than two servers esx with evaluation mode in this virtual Center. I got error.

connection to the esx server directly without vc, to feature license tab, I selected evaluation mode is ok. but I can't added these in vc. Why?

    can someone help out me.

    Thank you very much.

    hihiy

I don't think you can, you need to turn your TC to eval too, and before we do, your VC should not exceeded calclation eval of 60 days from the first day, it has been installed.

BTW, since you have valid VC 2.5 license, and is not the Foundation of VC, why don't you showing your ESX with eval license server to license? Add then the two ESX to your existing VC?

  • Not enough (RAM) memory free to start treatment for Outlook services

When I run Outlook 2007 SP2 and after getting my new one e-mail a notice appears of the outlook on the outlook bar icon to say tasks cannot start treatment services because there is not enough free memory to run this program (and it I do not see my new email). I added 2 GB of RAM and now have 6 GB in my Dell XPS 420 desktop computer. It has no effect on the error message. I'm running the 32-bit version of Windows Vista Ultimate SP2. In the physical memory in task manager, I show about 3100 MB in total, 1500 cache and 0 free. Don't know why the total would not be about 6 GB which is what is installed. What can I do to manage the memory or any other suggestions for the prospects for a return to normal?

It turns out that the problem was with Outlook and not related to the memery computer. It was solved by going to features, programs and Control Panel, and then repair Microsoft office system 2007.  Thank you for all your help.

    Hello

32-bit Edition of Windows Vista has a limit of 4 GB memory. If you have installed more than 4 GB, Vista will not read the extra memory.

The question you have posted is related to Outlook and would be better suited to the office community. Please visit the link below to find a community that will support what ask you

    Hi Sue and Betsy,

This article shows how to increase the amount of virtual memory on your PC: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-CA/windows-vista/Change-the-size-of-virtual-memory (I recommend setting virtual memory to 2500 MB initial size and a maximum size of 3000 MB).

    I hope this helps.

  • VMware Workstation 10 - not enough physical memory...

So, I'm aware of the Windows KB2995388 8.1 update that causes this problem:

Not enough physical memory is available to power on this virtual machine with its configured settings. To solve this problem, decrease the size of the memory of this virtual machine at 460 MB, increase the amount of physical memory for all the virtual machines to 3296 MB or adjust the parameters of extra memory to enable more virtual memory machine to swap. It is possible that native and/or services applications have locked memory which could help launch the virtual machine. Close unnecessary applications or services can free up enough memory to start this virtual machine. If you were able to on this Windows virtual machine on that host computer in the past, try restarting the host computer. Reboot may allow you to use a little more memory host to run virtual machines.

but after upgrading my OS today I have the same symptoms and can't find installed KB2995388.

I tried running VMware Workstation as an administrator with no luck either.

Y at - it no alternative workaround, or is there an another Windows update that can cause this problem?

Thanks for any help and advice.

Yes, other updates can cause the same issue, because the change that was made in KB2995388 was incorporated in to many other more recent updates as well.

What version of Workstation do you run?  If you run Workstation 10.0.4 or newer on Windows 8.1, this should no longer be a problem.

  • After the crash of the system, Workstation 10 reports "not enough physical memory is available" - how to fix?

On a Windows Pro 8.1 with 32 GB memory main system, I was running three virtual machines on 10 workstation.  Then we had a power failure and the system crashed.  Once the power was back and I restarted, any attempt to run a virtual machine failed with the following (change numbers) message:

Not enough physical memory is available to power on this virtual machine with its configured settings.

To solve this problem, decrease the size of this virtual machine to 988 MB memory, increase the amount of physical memory for all the virtual machines to 1219 MB or adjust the parameters of extra memory to enable more virtual memory machine to swap.

This occurs if the virtual computer, I try to start is one of those that was going or who was not working at the time of the accident.  In this case if I am as an administrator or not.

I checked Edit/Preferences/memory, and reserved memory is set to 24480 MB - 24 GB.  Can I run a virtual machine if I set the memory size to below the value indicated in the message (in this case, 988 MB).  Of course, I don't want to run like that!

The Windows System Control Panel reports (almost) complete 32 GB system memory. Task Manager indicates that only 7% of close to 32 GB is in use.  "About VMware Workstation", reports 32640 MB.

How can I fix it?  I'm basically dead in the water.

    Bob

  • 12 GB of RAM is "not enough physical memory" for a 2-GB virtual Machine?

I run VMware Player 6.0.3 on Windows 64-bit 8.1. My host has 12 GB of physical memory and my virtual machine uses 2 GB memory. And yet, I can't start my VM because VMware has said "not enough physical memory is available to power on this virtual machine with its configured settings".

According to the Windows Task Manager, only 15% of my physical memory is reserved for the current enforcement process. So, how is it possible that I don't have enough RAM to run my virtual machine?

  • Photoshop CS3 is not enough virtual memory

My photoshop program won't let me even open a file now without busting a message saying it's not enough virtual memory. I tried to change the amount of RAM, it offers access too, but it does not help. It does not seem to count how many things I opened.

Try to change or add to the "scratch disks" Photoshop has access too. Its in the preferences under the edit menu, probably in the performance category, although I don't remember CS3 very well these days.

  • VMware Workstation 6.5 - not enough physical memory is available to power on this virtual machine

My host is a processor Intel Core i5 (active VT) and 8 GB of RAM Windows 7 64 bit running with hardware virtualization enabled.

Apart from McAfee Antivirus and the usual Windows updates, no other software has been installed on the host machine.

I am running Vmware Workstation 6.5 and I installed 3 popular VM with below guest OS, s/w and memory:

    VMware ESX 4-2 GB
Server 2003 (DC and DNS) - 1 GB

    Server 2003 (vCenter Server) - 1 GB

However, it is not possible for me to all 3 virtual machines run simultaneously. If I turn on Vmware ESX 4 and try to start Windows 2003 VM, it displays the following message:

Not enough physical memory is available to power on this virtual machine with its configured settings.

To resolve this problem, set the parameters in additional memory to allow for more virtual memory machine to swap.

If you were able to on this Windows virtual machine on that host computer in the past, try restarting the host computer. Reboot may allow you to use a little more memory host to run virtual machines.

Can you get it someone please let me know where are the rest of the memory is busy? Size of total memory of 3 virtual machines are only 4 GB and I have to be able to run all the VMs set 3, but in this case I can't even run two virtual machines simultaneously.

Please help what should I do?

With 8 GB of RAM on the host allowing why only 1 GB to be reserved for all you run virtual machines?
