  I'm after some advice on a problem I'm having with my R700, I can't get the laptop to recognize USB hard drives start-up stage. I am trying to use Acronis to create an image that I have 40 of these laptops.

  The CD-ROM USB CD drive is recognized and is therefore a Corsair USB pen (which is unfortunately not large enough), but I have three hard drives USB (a Freecom Tough Drive, Buffalo MiniStation and Western Digital passport) and none of them are recognized by the BIOS. Legacy USB emulation is enabled.

  The BIOS does not support * USB HDD * as a boot device. Any reader USB CD/DVD or USB stick is bootable USB devices.

  Problem with touchpad buttons. I have this problem since I bought a computer. The touchpad right button does not work and the left button sometimes behaves as a right. for example. Also, double click does not work right after startup it behaves like a right button once again, so I have to press once on and select open... It can be solved if I press Alt + Cntr + del end then exit with Esc. It solves the problem of double click and right button is still does not work.

  I got a Portege R700 with Windows 7 64 bit.
  This machine starts very slowly after the log in user mode only.

  But still some keys do not work. The Tablet touch power switch, just above the touch pad does not work.

  For some reason any auocad does not recognize the graphics card installed on the computer.

  I have a Toshiba Portege R700. The last day or two he was intermittently showing battery low message power when it is connected to the electric network. This morning, he made similarly then closes.

  If I install SP1 manually (downloaded as iso from Microsoft Download site file) it seems to be installed without problems.
  Yet, I picked up the phone to the original state and tried to detect the windows updates again.

  There are many upgrades available, but without SP1 AND IE9.

  Any ideea?

  I had also some problems to install the patches in the past, that I could not install patches after system reboot and disable a 3rd party firewall, I could install necessary updates who received automatically by Windows 7.

  However, SP1 can be installed manually and it should be possible to install other patches automatically, so in this case, I wouldn't be worried

'' When I press Fn + F8, he talks not of WiFi, Bluetooth and 3G WAN.

  I rebuilt a Portege R700 with Windows 7 32-bit o/s. I downloaded the drivers from the Toshiba site but could not get the only rider listed working card. It seems to install ok but will not work.   I have this slideshow that I am so close after completing, but there is a problem I'm having with it not repeated after that some buttons are used. I tried to understand what could be the cause, but I can't see what it could be. According to me, that I'm so very close to having this if it wasn't for that matter.

  Slide show buttons '1' and '2' work perfectly, however '3' to '6' buttons do not work completely as it should.   Is your link to the object or picture.  I ran into this many times, I accidentally select the frame and not the object in the slideshow for the link.

  Web sites can be coded to perform better with some browsers, rather than others. The BB browser may appear to websites like several different things... What is inside the browser application (BBKey > Options > browser Configuration > browser Identification). Change that to a different browser could help your BB interact better with some Web sites. In combination with all other configuration settings, you have to find the combination of all these parameters which works best for the sites you visit. Unfortunately, there is no "best advice" that each persons needs are different. But, in general, I find that change browser Identification often helps - most often by changing to FF or IE (if those who are at your disposal... the options vary depending on the carrier).
