Position Left Logo in the browser
Can anyone help? I want to place a logo which is positioned (not pinned) to the left of the browser, not the page. I don't want the logo which will be pinned/fixed, I want to scroll the page, but be positioned far to the left in the browser. See attachment.
1. place the logo on the left of your "canvas" (a red line appears when you touch the border).
1 pin the object as shown (if you wish).
2 stretch your browserwide of the page by clicking on the double arrows.

My text Position moves according to the browser I use
I'll have a bit of trouble getting my text remains put in different browsers. For the text on the buttons on my left, I've been putting text in an APdiv and Center the text on the button. It stays put in IE, but the APdiv moves to the top of the button (table cell) in Mozilla and downwards (table cell) button in Safari.
I tried to use the CSS rule definition window to place the APdiv in an absolute position 'top' and I will still have the
the same problem.
I read the article on absolute positioning on Dreamweaver CS3 The Missing Manual but nothing I read really helped me and as I said, I already tried the absolute positioning.
I'm new at this and the site that I'm getting is for my last class and I'm really trying to do things. I'm not good with basic coding, so, if your useful response includes code, please be very specific about the places where to place in it section of the code of the page.
I have not yet added my site, but I have a picture of the homepage take my place. You can see here. The buttons are placed images flown in a table and the text I use in the APdiv in addition to this is not the text that appears on the buttons (had problems and decided to go simple with DWs fonts - used the set Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, without serif).
I'm working on a PC running Windows XP Media ed. w / SP2 if that makes a difference. And I'm in DW CS3.
Please help ASAP - the site is due Wednesday 12/12.
Thanks in advance.Hello
The reason is the following:
You use
Tags to control spacing in your layout.
You have the table that contains your 3 spaced paragraphs of rollover images
of the top table.
The problem is the paragraphs have different default margins in different
browsers. That's why you have the alignment problem.
Normally, you would use CSS to give all theTags the same margin to give
lines of text the same spacing cross browser.
However, which won't help here because users have different text sizes
their browsers. Different text sizes: different line height.
In text view browsers set to "big text" your table with images
will be a lot of space between it and the upper table. In browsers with
small text, the table will be so much near the top table.
Meanwhile, your PA divs will remain in the same place on the page.
The text will be only line upo worm images for people who have their
text exactly the same value as your size.
That's why you shouldn't useTags to control the spacing between the objects when graphically the
objects must be in a specific location in the layout.The solution is to get rid of the
Tags and CSS to give the table use
with the reversal of the pictures in a higher margin.First of all, get rid of the
tags and give a CSS class to the table below them.
Change this:
To do this:
Class = "leftnav" >Then, set the class in your CSS. You can add it to the end, just after
you are a: active link style:Change this:
a: active {}
text-decoration: none;
}
-->
To do this:
a: active {}
text-decoration: none;
}
{.leftnav}
margin-top: 150px;
}
-->
Adjust the desired margin to align the table with images with your
Divs PA.I hope this has helped.
Take care

Why my site is aligned on the left side of the browser space?
Hello, I would like to inquire about a small problem that I seem to not be able to solve. All the sites I found, addressing her, well... a lot of these posters are display very different 'solutions' by pasting in a very complex coding and technical language.
Basically, I noticed that even if my page is designed in dreamweaver with a width of 960 pixels, if I continue to open the browser in full-screen, or open it by stretching, the web page itself doesn't have a sort of automatic alignment on BOTH sides. Any other site I found has this function (unless they use a width of 100%, which I'm choosing not to because I don't know how to put a picture of the banner of a certain pixel size when the width is in percentages... go figure.
SO, how do the outdoor spaces in the browser (the space outside my real site) give the same amount of space on both sides, instead of paste the page on alignment to the left of the browser?
Thank you!
< body >
< table width = "960" height = '767' border = "1" bordercolor = "#666666" cellspacing = "1" >
< b >
< td height = "240" colspan = "3" bgcolor = "#FFFFFF" > < div align = "center" >
< p > < img src = "piano1.gif" width = "960" height = "240" alt = "piano" / > < / p > "
< / div > < table >
< /tr >
< b >
< td width = "164" height = "383" bgcolor = "#996699" > < p > < br / >
Since you don't seem to be too concerned with the operation of it, the simplest solution would be to add align = 'center' to your table to open.
bordercolor align = 'center' = "#666666" cellspacing = "1" >

site is cut on the left side in the browser of the phone
When I download sites that I created on muse, they are skewed to the left, cutting the left side of the Web sites. This problem is in all types of phone. Even on the workspace page muse is not centered, more to the left. I checked again and again that there are no objects outside the pages (on the grey area) and there is not.
How can I solve this problem?
Happy to announce that it worked! I resized the page width in muse to 1160 and moved the content either in the yellow space as you pointed out. Thanks to a witness of anomaly. And thanks for your patience. All browsers show throughout the site

Question is quite explicit.
You can get the menu drop-down by clicking on the previous/next buttons or now the left key pressed until the list is displayed.
If you want the drop-down arrow, you can add it with the add-on of dropmarker rear - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/backforward-dropmarker

Adjust the width of the image and position automatically with the size of the browser.
Hi, I am trying to place an image on the left edge of the browser window, and the width of the image is 50% the size of browser window. Similar effect can be found on this Web site. Lenzing Instruments
Note that, like the browser zoom out, the image is half of the width of the browser window and align the right edge of the browser.
I am new to Muse. Not sure if it is possible to achieve this effect in Muse. I know that Muse adjustable width 100% image browser window, but how about 50%, 75% of the other user-defined proportion?
Any help will be appreciated!
By saying that I mean that you can use the features available where pine will set the location of the content, full-width makes the background or the flexible content with edges of browser. Not all items will be covered to significant effect.
Thank you

Sorry, on the left side of the browser there is a panel that I can't seem to close or delete. It is titled 'history' and it includes a search box and a list of visited sites. None of the typical patches were able to close the box.
- Go to the view menu
- Select the menu side
- Click history to remove the check mark.
- The history Panel must be closed.

Panels with links back to the browser tabs
Hello
I hope someone can give me an answer to a question that I have with Spry in Dreamweaver tab panels.I'm not a coder, so I can't understand how to customize the java script to solve my problem, which is:
I created 9 tabs at the top of my page
()http://www.govpages.ca/ad/webdev/our_mission.html ( )
what link to the URL 9 and they work perfectly, the new URL opens but when I try to return to this page my page with tabbed panels using left arrow of the browser at the top I get instead the previous URL in my control panel tabs.
Is a way to solve this problem?
With great satisfaction
Try
- http://www.govpages.ca/ad/webdev/our_mission.html"onclick =" window.location = this.href; return false; "" > home
- http://www.govpages.ca/Sign_in.asp"onclick =" window.location = this.href; return false; "" > sign in
etc.

I just uploaded a new site to an existing via filezilla domain. It worked great and my site is up, but I have a problem that does not show when he would be seen in the fake browser Adobe Catalyst. I have a logo in the left corner of the page master. In Muse, he shows that he is in the right place, and when I go to preview, is also in the right place. When I went to live with my Web site, it shows that the logo is off, to the left and not at all in the right place. Any ideas on what I can do to move this and stay in the right place. Everything I have on the master page is prominently in the live version.
Probably, you have a box or empty text box somewhere see this thread for the fix: Bug Muse | Graphics shift randomly, why?

If I'm browsing subjects on my homepage and find one that reads my interest, I click on it and the browser goes on this site for me to read. When I'm through with that I hit the back button and on most Web sites, the original page back to where you were before you click on the interesting element. Not MY MSN, which is my home page, it returns to the top of MY MSN, which is irritating, especially if the elements that interest me are a group at the bottom of page on MY MSN and I want to read every 5 or 6 of them. How can I get the browser to return to the place I left?
Try to open the "statutes" in a new tab, and when finished read each article close the tab I hope the MY MSN page original will maintain the position you left it to (unless this page has an automatic refresh frequency, to add new items to the list).

How can I move the address indicated when I point to a link on the page of the browser on the left and to the right of the footer of mozilla in the add-on bar where is jused to be in previous versions as icon or the weather icons of Personas?
You can install the following add-on to return some of the old features of the status bar. The module Bar must be turned on. The add-on will also stop the screening of the "tooltip" text of loading type State, and instead of it, show it in the bar of the add-on:
- Evar-4-status: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/status-4-evar/
- After installation and reboot:
- Open the Customze window (Firefox button > Options > toolbars OR view > toolbars > customize OR ALT + V + T + C OR right click in the empty space at the end of the tab bar and select Customize)
- While customize window is open, drag 'Text State' (the URL for loading, as you mentioned), "Progress meter" and "Download Status" in the window customize to the bar of the add-on in order and the position that you want to display. Then click on the button "Done" at the bottom right on the window customize.
If this answer solved your problem, please click 'Solved It' next to this response when connected to the forum.

Placement of the logo at the top left layer full-width
I am currently putting the site logo as a background image on a layer full-width. I need the logo of the site linking to the home page. Can't really do that. How can I keep the far left, top site logo? Am I missing something simple? The customer insists on several elements of full-width, but not a horizontal provision (don't ask).
I also cheat on Linked In logo using it as a background in another layer of full-width, in the image of all the way to the right. I can't link any of them without linking the entire layer. I can't pin the items because then they would scroll when you do, and I need to stay fixed at the top.
I can do this Muse? I know that this can be done using CSS.
Thank you.
MerylYou can try using the position in the window to fill option, where you can set the position, else if it's a logo, you can insert and PIN that on the page.
Thank you
Sanjit
