• HP update notifications

  I get the occasional pop ups on my HP Windows PC. The pop-up will show you an update from HP is available. It says "you want to download and install the updates now?  Very nice... but... There is no provision of this HP window click Yes or no. In addition, the only way to close this window pop is to restart my PC.

  I call support on this strange issue. After several minutes, the agent told me that there is a problem with Dell. My HP printer was not purchased from Dell. It was purchased from Staples. The support updating indicator is HP.

  All I can say is that it was strange support for a simple question on this HP update notification and why it does not work.

  Any comments from anyone? Maybe I'm the only one with this strange happening. Who knows? If I get more update these pop up offers from HP, I'll just ignore it and restart.

  Thanks for your reply. After that I posted this question in this forum, I was able to finally make the phone contact with a supervisor manager at HP support. As it is, my printer is not supported in more software updates, and I was directed to the Windows Control Panel and delete the file "HP Update" that there are listed. The supervisor said that will put an end to these operations update which really would not work in all cases because of the age and printer HP em on my all-in-One 6310 some time. No more concerns.

• Chat notification light motorcycle is terrible

  Tried to get a response from Motorola or not, there will be an update to activate the Notification light which IS available on the bike 2015 G 3rd generation.

  They kept avoiding the issue and suggested that I use a 3rd party app, I have to 'Root' my device and cancel any guarantee.

  After several times trying to get my point across and get a response if she turns in a subsequent update, the person has simply signed off on me.

  I guess I'll take the phone for anything else.

  We try to have #3 happens within a few hours of the #1, but according to the schedules of the people and the urgency of the update, e-mail can liquidate sent the following day.

  Another thing to try is on the page above it just enter your email address and click on 'Forgot password?'. You should receive an email with your password. I recommend doing this just to make sure that the tool can send an email to the address you typed in. I know that when the update is sent there are several e-mail addresses that have bounced back as undeliverable. Do the above to make sure that your address is not a being bounced.

  #2 (archives) should be updated with the same email that was sent to users subscribed to #3. Unfortunately the site archive has not been updated since S34. I spoke with the team and they work to get archive to update and keep updated for future notifications.

  This archives site will be a few days behind #1 (display) and #3 (emails), but should not be the several weeks behind what it is now.

• There is no second user applications, but update notifications

  I am the admin on our computer. There are two user accounts, but all applications are installed in the root Applications folder and only I have a Mac App Store account. When there are updates available app, however, they appear also on the user account of my wife. If accidentally, she clicks on the notification to disappear, the app is installed in its own folder of the user's requests.

  Delete the apps and redemption/redownload in using your Apple ID. ID Apple is coded in the app and it's the only Apple ID that can be updated.

• Is there an add-on to block Firefox update notifications?

  If Firefox has always been boring when it comes to updates, and he now has a daily window that opens, unless I put to date, which will interrupt me if I play a game or watch a movie. • notification light won't stop flashing!

  My notification light keeps flashing green. I have no new notification and I went through all the programs that I get notifications and the turned off and it still continues to blink when the screen is off. Please help, as this is slightly drain my battery.

  Seems to be a bug that will disappear once the phone is power cycled that occurs when an application generates a notification 'in progress', like a weather app.

  Basically, if an app puts a notification in the left side of the bar notification, it can cause light flashes power cycling the phone will stop it but it can return.

  Problem: Notification light is still flashing white even if I change its color for a specific application. For example, I put the color of the notification in green for incoming messages in Whatsapp. However, when I receive a message in Whatsapp, the notification flashes white.

  Its kinda sad, but I have to live with it. The OEM has provided only a white LED for all notifications.

  Do not get carried away by the color options provided by various application developers.

  Your device is equipped with a white bulb that won't change its color. Software alone does not work, it must be hardware compatible too.

  Maybe Motorola may consider this feedback & try to integrate change into their new models.

  If you do not want to install an update via windows update, right-click the update, and click Hide update

  The update you selected will be hidden, and windows appear yet again for this update notifications

  I was instructed by our network manager either find a tool for centralized management of the Adobe update notifications and downloads for all computer network or to find a replacement for Adobe. The point, I think, is mainly security. Corporate won't allow any vendor direct access to desktop computers.

  So my question: Adobe has a tool to configure update notifications in the world on the network (in my case turn them of), disable the prompt for the users and control which programs are installed. This was caused when management discovered that adobe had installed Acrobat.com, etc. on desktop computers.

  If Adobe does not have the management tools, what is the best replacement for Adobe Reader. Just read the PDF files.

  Recently I started to receive notifications in my system tray that different pieces of software installed are available updates. I'm not which program creates these messages. These messages are coming from Windows? I can't find any settings to toggle messages.

  Palcouk, blue microwave oven is correct because windows warning for the updates of the software from different manufacturers, but all the windows looked the same.

  I agree with blue microwave that it was probably a 3rd update administrator that installed with other software.  However, before I received a link to the program Process Explorer, I already went on a "uninstall fest' to try to remove some program was the cause.  I did not messages for a while, then, perhaps, that the program has been removed.

  If I don't find what caused these I'll post it here for others do know.

  I understand from the description of the issue, you continue to receive notification of update of Java application on the computer of Windows 8. I will certainly help you in this regard.

  During installation of Java from Oracle, you have set to warn of new updates. You can check the Java settings via the control panel.

  You can enable or disable the update automatic pop up. However, you cannot make changes to receive contextual update on the moment.

  Try these steps to delete automatic update of Java:

  a. press the Windows key + X key to find the Control Panel in the lower left corner of the screen.

  b. double-click the icon 'Java'.

  c. click the 'Update' at the top of the pop-up window.

  d. click the checkbox on the left side of the screen, titled ' theself-checking of updates'.

  e. click the "never check" button in the warning box that appears on your screen.

  If the problem persists, it is better to contact the vendor of the application for further assistance.
