• Window of back it application "snaps" to a size preset 10 minutes after having been resized - HELP!

  I use the VLC Media Player, as well as other concurrent applications on my desktop.  For some reason, a dozen minutes or more after than I re-size the window of the application VLC to work alongside my other apps, it "snaps" back to a much smaller size that I can't work with.  Having to constantly re-size of the app has become tedious.  Y at - it a fix for this problem?

  Method 1

  It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.

  I suggest that you put the computer in a clean boot state and check if it helps.

  To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows XP by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

  Reset the computer to start as usual

  When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:

  (a) click Start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.

  (b) If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password or click on continue.

  (c) under the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.

  (d) when you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart.

  Method 2

  If the previous step fails, then I suggest that you uninstall and reinstall the VLC Player, check if it helps. I also suggest that you reset the VLC player Preferences, and then later proceed with uninstalling and reinstalling the drive.

  If you do this code, they cannot see the address. If the HTTPS, they can't see the item values. HTTPS is your safest bet. You can add authentication tokens too, even if they see the address, so it's useless if the bad signatures are given. Also, unless you're dealing with credit cards, numbers of social security or other sensitive information, make sure to not reach too right it because your efforts to support longer.

  If you choose a new workflow, you must:

  redirect subscribers to your new workflow

  notify the iTunes Store, you have a new stream.

  The two steps above are complemented by a redirect:

  Set up a 301 redirect on your server for your old power supply.

  First RSS feed-> Submitted to iTunes > user subscribed--> user gets new episodes

  Second RSS feed-->? iTunes has been notified? --> iTunes doesn't new episodes.

  I recommend the deletion of your podcasts in the box my Podcasts in iTunes Desktop (to avoid confusion).

  Hello

  I'm working on a new site for my business where we are able to offer tests online for our customers.

  We use Captivate since it was the best option, but when a user has completed the test, we need to have the results by email and processed on our site.

  I found the options to send an email, but it's stupid because it opens a new window of e-mail client and the user is able to change their results before sending

  The other option was custom javascript... I've seen a few sites that show you how to get the data and who post to a url or something, but I can't get this to work for the life of me (I'm not a man of java)

  Basically, what I'm looking for is a method or option for Captivate to POST to a url with the results, preferably in the url as parameters, after that my code runs.

  Any suggestions on the javascript methods or is it possible in fact an option post in captivate that I missed?

  Ahhh okay, gotcha.

  For some reason, I never considered that make part of the handling of forms. I just always considered that it is the same as creating a link that opens another file or web page.

  You are able to supply parameters to the URL strings, but you will find that Captivate does not like spaces. So if you can use a space, you must encode using %20 representing space.

• My icon on my desktop (macbook) disappeared, how do I get that back on there?

  He just disappeared and I would on my dashboard. He has been there for a long time, but it has recently disappeared. I went to the applications and tried to drag, no luck. I even did a right click on it to see if it will say to add to the dashboard... No... help please. I use it to go back when I'm done to examine a file it takes me off.

  To do this please try these instructions:

  1. Open the Application folder
  2. Firefox-click and drag the icon to the doc (do not let go to click up to)
  3. Let go of the icon in the doc

• must click twice to focus on an application

  This problem is rather difficult to describe, and I do not know the correct jargon, so I had to hurt looking for another thread that can ask the same question.

  Situation: I have two applications (this happens with any combination of applications), let's say TextEdit and calculator. The 'focus' is on the calculator. I can type in numbers from the keyboard, or click with the mouse on the calculator figures so he computes. No problem. But, if I want to then bring 'focus' to the TextEdit window - where if I type something - when I move the mouse anywhere on the window in TextEdit and click, it does not update to TextEdit and it remains greyed out. the focus remains on calculator.

  In order to get to restore the focus to TextEdit so I can type, I have to click twice on the app. However, I can't double-click on it or it will minimize the window. I have to click once, wait a few seconds, so it won't register as a doubclick and then click New. It of incredibly frustrating, slows down my work flow and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to change it. Happened for quite awhile, and I think changed after I downloaded some sort of new update, which one I don't remember unfortunately.

  Again, this happens with both applications. I am aware to be able to use the command + tab to switch between apps and I use it often, but sometimes using my mouse to organize windows or any other action is necessary.

  It is a test to identify the problem. Create a new account.  See if the problem persists.

  Blue Apple > System Preferences

  clicks on the icon accounts

  Click the icon representing a lock if it is locked.

  Enter the password to logon

  

  Click on + icon (left side of the screen just above the lock icon)

  

  After you have created a new account, you must log out of your current account.

  Blue Apple > sign out name current number......

  Sign in to the new account. see if problem goes away.

  

  If she disappeared, some files preferably I messed up on your account. Rename the appropriate preference. You must understand the name.   These are .plist files.  Look for these files in the Preferences folder that is located in your library folder [more formally ~/Library/Preferences].  ... restart.

• Windows Mail can receive but not send up to exit application

  Hi and thanks for taking the time to read what I am in need of your help.

  I have a Toshiba P200, Vista Home Premium, Tiscali as my ISP, Norton Internet Security for AV and firewall and access my broadband via Ethernet to a Belkin ADSL router (and occasionally a Siemens router) and I am experiencing some strange events with Windows Mail.

  In short I can receive mail without any problems, but when I send the mail, remaining in the Outbox despite the option send immediately being checked, or by pressing the send/receive button. When I go out Windows Mail mail is sent immediately and is when I restart Windows Mail in the sent messages folder.

  So why I think there is a problem with the laptop. Well, I'm lucky to have a friend who has a non-Toshiba laptop, where all of the above can be replicated. Guess what, Windows Mail sends the message exactly as it should (on my account and on my network, through my router and the ISP, Tiscali etc.), so I conclude that the only difference is that my laptop is a P200.

  I called Tiscali, which confirmed that all my mail settings were OK, POP, SMTP etc, which I expect (because they work on the laptop from my friend), and they advised to contact Microsoft, I did, and since the P200 has pre-installed Vista they say that I need to contact Toshiba, and here I am.
  My P200 has been restored to factory settings, and I tried to get this working without Norton IS and no firewall (Vista and router) but no luck.

  Any ideas would be very appreciated and if I find through other means, I'll post back with the result. If the answer is already out there, please apologize for being too stupid to locate and beg your patience.

  It is typical for support persons. All of them are trying to refer clients and through them. In my opinion Microsoft s reaction is strange to me. They designed the operating system and they should be responsible for the feature.

  I have the Satellite A200 and Satellite P200D and I use Windows Mail on two of them successfully. My laptop is connected to the WIFI router and router directly to the phone line. To be honest, I have configured Windows Mail as you and all of the work are made in a few minutes.

  It is not easy to tell where the problem may be, but I think that there is a problem with some settings of your laptop. Some of them block it somehow. To compare your, with friends laptop is also not the best because it can have completely different OS settings (antivir application, the settings of the firewall).

  Try turning off all the features that can block Windows hotmail to see if there is some difference.

  The procedure below can help solve the problem.  This is not a known solution but something for you to try.

  1 left-click on Start
  2 - right click on computer
  3 - left click on properties 4 - left click on Advanced system settings
  5 - running , click settings
  6. left click on the parameters of Performance data
  7 - click on TURN DEP FOR ESSENTIAL WINDOWS PROGRAMS AND SETTINGS ONLY.
  8 - click apply and then click OK.

  UAC: (User Account Control)
  Open Control Panel and type in the user account in the search box. You will see the link for "turn User Account Control (UAC) or not". Until it clicks. Uncheck the box and restart your computer.

  Using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

  You can uninstall the Package redistributable Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime for Add / Remove Programs & reinstall again. Later, check to see if the problem persists.

• Reinstallation of Windows Media Center XP error, the application failed to initialize properly (0xc000135

  I had to install a new hard drive after the death of my old. I use my Dell recovery/reinstallation disk. The first time I tried installing that it froze after the reboot. I then did a repair installation (twice) and each time got the following error:

  PxShare.exe Application error.

  The application failed to initialize properly (0xc000135).  Click OK to close the application.

  It appears at the end of the installation, but when my login screen is displayed, it shows only one account, administrator and request a password. I have not configured any accounts when I did the installation and you do not have a password. I tried to enter without password, using admin as password and check-in safe mode did not help - it still asked for a password.

  I don't know if the two problems are related or not.
