  You Tube and other sites do not play video on Firefox with Adobe Flash after the last update for both. Adobe Flash works on other sites but not You tube and sites that can have embedded videos from You Tube, I'm not sure.

     About the .Js I cannot find a User.JS in the profile folder but ther is a user.bk and other files that have.json. Should I do anything with these?

  I created a movie in Windows Movie Maker, with a video montage to music at the beginning, followed by video clips (w / their own audio).  He always plays smoothly and perfectly all the way through in the Wondows Movie Maker each time I saw it.  When I select 'publish on DVD', creation of Windows DVD opens and everything seems OK.  When I preview the it, the menu is in tact and works, even showing the parts of my videos in the rectangles 'scenes', but when I play in fact the film only the first video editing with its music games.  The rest of their audio and video clips are missing.  Even if I go through the menu and try to select the scenes later.  All the subtitles, which I had added appear for the rest of the film, but the screen behind them is empty, w / no sound.   I tried to do a recordable CD for my project too, instead of a DVD, and the same type of thing happened, except for a few video clips in the first Assembly is missing too!  I do not understand why some videos gets through but not all.  And what happens to my project of poor between the phases of creation and editing.  Would appreciate any troubleshooting tips.  Thank you.

  This can be caused by incompatibility source files and or
  a problem with video filters. It may be interesting to try to open
  Movie Maker and go to... Tools / Options / Compatibility tab
  and uncheck all filters.

  Also, you could try Publishing (save) your Movie Maker
  project in format .wmv to a folder on your hard drive
  and then import the full movie DVD Maker.

  Large complex projects can also cause problems... it can
  be worth a try to create several small projects and save
  each of them in the format .wmv movie to a folder on your hard drive
  drive. When you import clips .wmv collection in DVD
  Each machine will become a scene (chapter) you can have
  up to 18 scenes.

• timeline will not play video, audio only

  I just recently changed computers (windows 7 to Windows 7) and when I re-installed first CS5.5 on my new computer the video in the timeline never plays.

  The video box timeline shows a graph in offline media even after all the media was reconnected.

  When I press play, the playhead moves, but he will play only the audio and only shows the graph of media for the video offline.   Some time before, I bought Cineplayer codec for Windows XP and Windows Media Player ver11.  Then I could watch DVDs on my laptop without problem.  Suddenly, for some reason, now I get only audio, but no video what so ever.  I haved tried several different DVDs with the same results.  I restarted the computer, with the same results-> audio OK but no video.  Any suggestions to solve are most appreciated! • I can not burn an Audio disc with Media Player 11

  My system = XP (SP3), 3 GB of RAM, Intel CPU G620

  Media Player 11 will not burn a playlist.

  I dragged a list of MP3 files to a playlist for burning.  However, when I click on the button burn, WMP11 starts to burn apparently the first track on the list but then stops at 96%. I tried at different speeds, the media and even a CD - RW and the same thing happens.
  Curiously, that WMP11 is burning track 1, the progress bar indicates "finalize disc". This would seem a strange message because it is just the first piece of 10 and so has not yet reached the end of the list.
  After the burn hangs at 96% for a few seconds, I get the error message;
  "Windows media player cannot burn the files to the CD. Check that the disc is clean and not damaged. If necessary, select a slower recording speed or try a different brand of blank discs.
  HOWEVER, I also have NERO 7 and I have absolutely no problems burning the same Audio disc.
  It's extremely frustrating and I would appreciate some advice on this.

  Another way is to click on start > default programs > associate the type of file or Protocol with a program > and change the default program associated with this file type.

  Yes, it's unnecessarily confusing and convoluted but WYSIWYG, I'm afraid. You have that would be to buy an Anytime Upgrade from Vista Ultimate, (b) a Win7 Home Premium update (and then an Anytime Upgrade to Win7 Ultimate) or (c) a full-detail of a language version English version of any version of Win7... which will be probably much more expensive than buying a brand new computer with a version of English language of Win7 preinstalled (and good luck finding that in a French speaking country).
