  I understand that I need a bigger PSU Corsair POWER supply and a more recent video card are a favorite and will not have a connection because of the research.

  Basically I have the same case with my e9280t with respect to your HPE-170 t. I also had the original ATI 4850.

  In general, you want to keep the video card minimum 10 ".

  Sapphire AMD Radeon 6850 and 6870 would be good choices.  The adjacent slot on the PCI-E x 16 slot must be open (see above).

  You may be able to get the 7870 Sapphire to adapt.  It's a card 10.25 "but for sure, you will need to measure. It's also a lot more money. ($350)

  I use a Corsair HX650 but CX600 should work for your needs.

  I own a Pavilion dv6700 (fairly old I know) that I was getting a message in windows that wouldn't be not the battery, even if the power was good. So I decided to make an update of the BIOS of F.45 to F.58A. Updating, during the countdown final 10 sec until you restart the laptop, the computer has lost its power and close.

  GO then I am unable to power on my laptop... None of the techniques described on the forum seems to help me... I disconnected the battery, I had checked the charger, I checked it using a voltmeter, I plugged in a different bracket, I did a hard reset, I tried to start using the Win + B / the combination Fn + B, but nothing happened. I see no led turinng on!

  This looks like the end of the road for your laptop unless you are ready to invest in alternatives.

  You can have the replaced systemboard. The cost of a motherboard and the man hours to replace the current value of the laptop, on the other hand that would make a bad investment in my book.

  Hi, I tried something that apparently solved the problem.

  Instead of removing just the USB drivers, I removed everything about USB, my edge Broadcom Bluetooth, Wi - Fi on board... because they use this interface.

  After Windows again every single sensor, including the drivers of USB hub, I had no problem of disconnection or power.

  In any case as soon as I can I'll try upgrading to Windows 8.

  After a few days of operation, noticed that my automatic updates, Microsoft and Symantec had no place. When I look at the logs for the SAA, I notice that it treats the file from Symantec as spyware and shows it as a damaged zip file not scanned. I'm not blocking any type of downloadable file. If it's a problem of URL filtering, I would simply add symantec as authorized site. But since it is seen as spyware, there is no management for this except to turn on or off. Any ideas or insight? Running the latest code of any which is downloadable and CSC is also updated to def just fine.
