• Can I do a Power Point slide fill the frame?

  I paste the PowerPoint slides on the video channel 2 on the timeline.  There are a lot of unused space on the sides and the top and bottom.  It would be nice if I could increase the size of the slide to only have space on the sides and eliminate the extra space on the top and the bottom.   I started with Open Office Impress to import slides.  It's like the power point, but a software free and worked very well. The slides are about 4 x 3 and my HiDef video is 16 x 9.  Import the slides that individually they came the size I want with only more space on the left and right.  But the video of video channel 1 can be seen on the left and right sides of the slide.  I wonder if there's an easy way to put black on the left and right to cover the video poking through video channel 1.  I guess I can cut the video out under each slide and which would make the slides have black borders.  I wonder if there is a way to better and faster.

  Impress has worked great for the size of the slide at first, but the problem was that he messed up some of the PowerPoint slides.  The text is enlarged and displayed on top of the other texts.  And a few drawings and images were missing totally.  So I put Power Point on my computer.  I saved as .tiff files slides and they all have been imported in the form of file - much easier to impress for the import.  The slides look good, but when it is placed on the timeline, they are smaller with extra space on the top, bottom, left and right.  I want to make them as big as imported with Impress slides and have more space to the left and to the right.  Is there a way to do this?  Can it be done without loss of resolution on the slides?

• Power point slides GET small when put in the timeline - a flaw in the Premier Pro?

  I posted a question about a week ago, but maybe that someone else is now online with an easy solution.  Otherwise it is just a defect in Premier Pro.  When I drag the PowerPoint slides in the source monitor, they are big and fill the frame as much as possible.  Vacant space is on the left and the right because the blades are about 4 x 3 and HiDef video is 16 x 9.  But there is no extra space on the top and the bottom.  As soon as I drag them in the timeline, they become smaller and there is more space on the top and the bottom.

  When I asked about this a week ago the only solution offered was to blow up slides in photoshop, that I did not and do not want to buy.  But doing that would reduce the resolution.  Other video editing systems don't do this and make as big as possible PowerPoint slides.  If this seems to be a flaw unless someone knows how to solve this problem.

  Slides imported via Open Office Impress (like PowerPoint) are the appropriate size, but Impress screwed up a lot of slides, so I can't use it.

  Go to the first preferences and check the box to check for "scale to the chassis', or right-click of clips already on the timeline and check scale to the chassis. The problem is that the photos that you bring in are smaller than the frame size, for example, if your sequence is 1920 x 1080 and the slides are 1024 x 768, that's why they are too small in the sequence. The Prefs setting does not affect the clips already imported, starts only work on imports again after you change the setting, so you don't have the manual option.

  Hi, I'm working on a video simulation 9 Captivate. Slides, where is the screen of the software and then I have a "back" (as opposed to text slides or menu) button.   Not sure that the question, but we have an easy solution. We put the back button in a model of slides. If that is set for the screens of simulation it doesn't substitute the suspicion of fail to click. Hope that helps anyone with this problem!
