Power supply # power # chassis: off

Have 4 new UCS chassis in rack. 3 of them have PSU 2 and 4 in a "stopping" State, even if the green light turns on all blocks of 4 power supply into the chassis. All chassis are connected same PDU to the back of the basket, so I know that we have a clean diet.

I tried adjusting the grid to N + 1 and return to nothing will do. Advice would be useful

On this version, most of the I2C issues have been corrected, but if the chassis has been assigned for a period of time, your I2C may have been congested for a while.

To clear the I2C bus, you must reinstall the components that use it... Power supplies, fans, and IOM therefore the recommendation would be to:

1 - Reinstall each fan and power supply (one at a time and wait 3 minutes before hand) upward once again, move on with the next

2. Remove subordinate IOM, keep it out of the chassis for 5 minutes, drain all power, put it back and wait it comes back before it.

Make sure that you have network redundancy configured before you do and if you need help or you don't feel comfortable with the process, contact TAC for assistance.

If this helps, please rate it... If it solves the problem, please mark it as such for future users to take advantage of it too.

  • Power went off looking at the TV Media Center. Now whenever I try to watch live TV, the program starts normally but freezes as soon as the audio starts.

Original title: Media Center 2005 Edition

I was watching TV using Media Center on my PC HP Media Center m7367c PC (running Windows XP Professional Version 5.1.2600 Service Pack 3) when the power went off.   Now whenever I try to watch live TV, the program starts normally but freezes as soon as the audio starts.  The audio works fine, but no picture, the small rotating circle of progress hangs and the screen is frozen.  I can click the X (close Box) and the program closes.   I expect there are only one or two corrupt files that need to be cleaned or replaced.

HP support is to use recovery discs to clear the system and return it to the original configuration.   Given all the software, data and updates, I have to restore, I don't want to go down this road.

I tried running SFC/scannow but Windows XP system discs are needed and the PC vendors ceased to provide systems with their PC discs there are many moons.  I bought Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 3, but he came on one drive and requests SFC disk #3 while parsing.

I go back to the original driver TV tuner and then updated to the more recent but not joy.  I think that the problem is with a program or file Media Center.  Now when I try to configure the TV signal my cable box is recognized and then as soon as the audio lights, MCE 2005 hangs and the tiny TV screen remains black.

I expect a file Media Center must be cleaned or reset but before I realize FUBAR I thought that he better come on this Microsoft forum and see if someone who knows what they are doing can provide the solution.

    Hi, Rudy386MS,

Sorry for the late reply.  Do you have the problem solved?

If Sfc/scannow solicits the disks, then you have corrupt or missing files whose analysis cannot replace or repair.  The alternative is a complete recovery of Windows.

Open the control panel and select Media Center

    Click on uninstall

    Select the repair option

    Click next

Click Finish when you are prompted

See if that helps.  If not, then the recovery process will be needed

Startup of HP systems to screen recovery (repair) when you reboot and start typing the F11 key.  According to me, that it gives you the choice to 'Fix' that leaves your files intact or 'Recover' system that will put you back to 'out of the box' condition.

There is a Recovery Manager in the folder all the HP programs which includes Disc Creator.  You can create your own recovery discs.  I suggest using DVD instead of CD - R.  They allow more memory space.

  • How to usb power turn off mode 'sleep'? Yes were asked and no, it has not yet responded.

until someone says "its been answered" and "look at other messages ' u try these directions and let me know if it works. cause I did, and if you're smart enough, I'm sure you can understand my result of posting me my question as well.     I had older versions of windows (xp and 98) and when the computer was put in mode 'sleep' it wouldn't keep turn on/off devices.  Now in windows 7, it's a totally different story. What ould iw as is for the usb power switch off appliances like the old way. Francis IS at ALL possible? because of everything I've seen here, it DOES not work.  No, changing the thing selective usb to allow disabling power management GOLD DOES not work. NO, by checking or unchecking the checkbox in the Device Manager, etc., for the USB ROOT HUB to "allow the device to turn off the power" or whatever it says DOES NOT work either.  All what I want to know is, is possible to do this, turn off the power for something as simple as an external fan or a hard drive will be TURNED OFF like it USE TOO. Please do not post instructions on how to do the 2 steps that I mentioned. Really annoying because it's what keeps popping up for everyone to do and then you see inside people answer "N" T WORK."   And also do without consulting me the manufacturer for support, cause this is the problem of MICROSOFT, is not a problem of the Lim.  A lot of people have this problem, microsoft turns, find something here...

It is also for period of SLEEP mode. Yes I know he doesn't put into hibernation, and judgment, to my question here. That's the mode 'sleep'. Thanks for all who have comments/instructions USEFUL. Nice day

  • Change the GPU and power supply turns it off a Windows OEM?

So basically I want to replace my graphics card with a new and do I need to switch to the diet. Modification of the power supply and the GPU will disable my Windows OEM?

It should not. Change hard drive or motherboard turns off windows. In the case if it is disabled, you can use telephone activation to activate.

    hope that helps

  • Turn the remote power on/off

Hi, I had a SCB-68 DAQ card. I would like to set up a high voltage ON OFF LabView options to be able to remote, turn on or turn off the high voltage to power cold cathode (the manual is attached, see pp. 24 and 25), but honestly, I don't know how to do it. Can anyone give me a tip please?

NOR has the 6008 and for students, myDAQ. Other suppliers might be. Depends on what you might want to use.

  • USB (external hard drive) device no power down / off when safely removed in Windows 7

Well, I asked this question and no one seems to respond, I also found that many people want to solve this problem so here, it's once again

Whne you have a hard drive that is not a switch on/off button that you who wait when you remove safely from the windows, he stops, so you shouldn't have to disconnect form the usb slot to do.
And it happens in WIndows XP, but it is NOT in Windows 7 (or that I read, in Vista as well).

I want to know, because it bothers me really, what is the solution?

What I want is, after I click on "remove" my external hard drive, that what he would have turned off (standby) as it does in Windows XP!

    Help please.

    Hi gala,.

Thank you for visiting the community Microsoft Windows 7.  The feature remove the device safely does not power supplied to a USB device in Windows. By design, the port to which the device is attached is not interrupted in Windows when the unit is softer.

Please let us know if this helped.

  • Satellite A100 - battery all night while the power is off

    Hello world

I have a new Satellite A100 and I noticed that when I fully charge it and then turn the power off and remove the plug from the socket, the next day when I stick it back in the socket of the control light yellow says that he is in charge.

So, I turned on the computer laptop and checked is full battery and it says 94%. I let it finish loading at 100% then it off again and came out of the plug. The same thing happened the next day! He held again!

I don't know that I did not in Hibernate mode because I checked all the settings and choose Turn Off to turn off the laptop.

I read on the battery recall, so I searched on the toshiba site and downloaded the program from battery test. The result came out that my battery is not between the serial numbers involved. I even manually checked the number on their list but mine is not supposed to be affected.

Is anyone having the same problems, or is it normal that the battery itself?

Please let me know... Thanks :)

    Hello

It is normal and you should not worry about this. The same thing happen on my Tecra. Please check this Toshiba document on this http://support.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/FAQ6301EP000ER01.htm

Everything seems to work fine, I've just been caught unawares. I've never had such a thing happened to me in updating my mac. Someone else?

I think the install dialog says that the mac can shut down and put into service once more.

If its works well it should be good.

  • Details of the 536304-001 HP Power On / Off switch and cable LED Assembly for the Z400

Can someone help me with the P5 front header pinout on the motherboard Z400 or on the HP 536304-001 power switch and LED to the Z400 Cable Assembly?   I'm getting to is a Z400 motherboard in a case of XW8000. I know that 536304-001 does not fit in the case of XW8000 but the XW8000 part equivalent seems to have mostly the same connections. double color led, led hard drive, power button / stop.   I can see an illustration that 536304-001 use 4 connections on the side to key of header and 2 on the other. Cable colors are red, green, black and 3 white. There are also other connections to the temperature thermistor that I would not intend to use (unless explicitly required for Z400 motherboard).

    Here's a panel header pinout before Z400 P5 motherboard:

Find "missing" pin key 14 to steer this diagram properly.

Pins 2 and 4 go to the power LED.  This LED is two-way, with green in a sense (normal) and Red (diagnosis failure) in the other.  If the LEDs back to back are installed between pins 2 and 4, on lights.  If green it does not illuminate during normal operation, move the pins to the pair of diodes.

Pins at 15, 17 and 18 are chassis ID pins.  It's OK to let those pins unconnected.

Pins 6 and 8 are the power button pins.  Connect a normally open push switch between pins 6 and 8.  Do not attach any tension or Chin-ups to this switch.

RESET # may not work, but it is a prototye signal.  A switch push-button normally open between pin 7 and 6 (GND) could make it work.  It's OK to let those pins unconnected.

Terminals 11 and 12 are the thermal diode in the panel cable Assembly before Z400.  The system starts without the thermal diode, but fans can operate at full speed all the time, or may oscillate in speed (several times to go from slow to high-speed and back).  This will make the system very noisy.

The Red led lights continuously, even when the unit is off.  The only way to stop is to turn off the power. The lights continue to Flash during the night.  Could be sign of a defective battery even if the Committee reflects fully charged?

    Hi, DwightNemnich,

Press f12 to the start screen

    Select dell diagnostics

Let the first set of tests

    now select extended test

    Select the system tree

Click (+) next to battery test

    all tests run on battery.

Maybe it's a defective battery.  Have you removed the battery, test it in another unit?

    Did you check the connections?

My PC with Vista Home premium does not START because the keyboard does not work. It's a Dell Dimesion E521 PC with Vista.

When I load completely to max and let that stop you it completely, after about 4 days, it says only about 2% of the available power.
Is this normal because it is a new unit?

    All opinions and comments welcome.

To be honest, it is not normal for me.
Maybe you should contact the nearest Toshiba authorized maintainer.
