Power2Go unresponding

I finally understood how to copy movie dvd using Power2go.  Has made 2 successfully, but now every time it says unresponding.  I turned off the computer and started around but the same thing.  Help, please.  Thank you very much.

Hi redcarousel,

Follow these steps:

Method 1:

Start your computer in a clean boot state and check if the applications of third parties or startup items is the origin of the problem.

For instructions, see How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

Note: After troubleshooting, make sure that you configure the computer to start as usual as mentioned in step 7 in the above article.

Method 2:

Uninstall and reinstall the program.

    I've recently upgraded from Vista to Windows 7. When I try to install Power2Go, I downloaded since the Lenovo support site, I get the following error: "this software is only for installation on desktop Lenovo." Running the Vista compatibility mode or XP did not help.

    Any help to fix this would be appreciated.

    Use Winrar to extract the Power2Go file that you downloaded. Go to the folder and find the file custom.ini, right click on the file and go to Edition, remove the following entry:

    LenovoReg = 1
    LenovoRegLock = 1
    ProgramCorp = Lenovo
    SCFolderName = Lenovo\Power2Go
    MenuRemoveID = 6, 7, 8

    Save the file and run the installation

    Let me know if that works for you,

  • Is there a copy of record, as Power2Go program, on my new laptop computer Pavilion G6-1374EA?

    Is there a program to copy of record, as Power2Go, on my new laptop computer Pavilion G6-1374EA (product #ABU A9J86EA)? I searched all files and I don't see an obvious disk copy program. I would like to copy a CD to a blank CD or a DVD to a blank DVD. I should add that I am quite new to computers.

    Hello

    Click on the Start Menu, click all programs and make sure that if you have a folder called "CyberLink DVD Suite" - If you do, Power2Go should be part of this set.

    If you do not have the application above, download and install the free software ImgBurn.

    Guides on copying discs using this application are here.

    When I turn on my computer, the shockwave plugin has been constantly unresponding and it crashes. An error appears (x 000...), could not see clearly, as it happens too fast and my computer restarts. After restarting it brings me to the reovery Manager, so I decided to reformat but an error pops up (error 100a).

    When I went to check the disc, that all satisfied the test except the HDD test failed, the problem was bioshd-8. The computer just always brings me to the Manager of recovery even when I want to start windows normally. Really need help. Thank you

    Hey, Izaya_Orihara
    If you encounter any problems with your HP computer?

    Method 1
    How to fix your damaged OS files:
    1. close all of your applications.
    2. click on start.
    3. Type "cmd" on ' search '.
    4. right click on "cmd" and click "Run As Administrator" and click OK.
    5. Enter "sfc/scannow" (without the quotes).
    6. press ENTER.
    7. If is done, you must restart your computer.
    If you do not work with this method, try the second method.

    Method 2
    Install Windows Vista SP2:
    You must install SP2 from here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-uk/download/details.aspx?id=16468
    And the problem has been corrected.

    If the two methods don't work, if you have a system recovery disk, open your CD/DVD drive and the put and shut it down.
    And can solve problems with your computer.

  • Laptop HBK17: power2go

    Installed in HP of Cyberlink Power2Go download option.  This program was originally on my laptop.  I need it to burn discs or is it software alternative already on my system.  Since the download, I have a large icon pink on my desktop and the program that I use rarely, and only if no alternative, seems to be all the time.

    Hello

    There are certainly many free alternatives to this software like ImgBurn ( Note: you can deselect additional software during installation of ImgBurn offerings).

    However, if you simply want to remove the annoying "Burning Gadget", you can do the following.

    Run Power2Go and click on the gable of settings at the top right.

    Select the "Général" tab and Remove the check mark next to "Run desktop gadget burning at windows startup.

    Click OK to save the changes and reboot the laptop.

  • Power2Go Express icons will not go away.

    When I open Power2Go Express, he places 2 icons on my desktop on top of my other icons, and I can't delete them.

    The only way I can get rid of them is to re-boot.

    Hi David online

    Welcome to the Microsoft answers site.

    Most of the burning software is delivered with the package that contains several utilities, so that creates a lot of icons on the desktop for each utility, I suggest you search for the name of icon and make a note of the same thing.

    You can uninstall the utility that you do not want to have on your computer from programs and features.
