  I have a laptop HP model dv7-1185eg with initially installed Windows Vista Home Premium. I upgraded to Windows 7 Home Premium. Everything worked without problem until a system crash, when I had to reinstall Windows 7. After that, my Cyberlink programs lacked. On the HP site I downloaded the program for my Webcam and QuickPlay, but I can't find the suite Cyberlink Power2Go DVD and now I can't burn CDs and DVDs.

  I have a recovery DVDs I did after I bought the laptop, but I couldn't find a way to intall the program on their part I also have a recovery partition, but I don't know how to use it. Also tried F11 after startup, but that did not work.

  Could you please help me?

  I just bought a Lenovo laptop, with W 7 64-bit home edition Premium, in Spain. All programs and the details of the computer are in Spanish. It has already installed a "Cyberlink Power2Go" and it is also in Spanish. How can I reinstall the software (Cyberlink Media Suite)? Is - this nolonger compatible windows 10?  Please advise...

  10 Windows by default is not program DVD available on your previous operating system. If you want you must buy it from Windows App store to access the functionality of dvd playback.

  Installed in HP of Cyberlink Power2Go download option.  This program was originally on my laptop.  I need it to burn discs or is it software alternative already on my system.  Since the download, I have a large icon pink on my desktop and the program that I use rarely, and only if no alternative, seems to be all the time.

  There are certainly many free alternatives to this software like ImgBurn ( Note: you can deselect additional software during installation of ImgBurn offerings).

  However, if you simply want to remove the annoying "Burning Gadget", you can do the following.

  Run Power2Go and click on the gable of settings at the top right.

  Select the "Général" tab and Remove the check mark next to "Run desktop gadget burning at windows startup.

  Click OK to save the changes and reboot the laptop.

  Hello! This is my first post, so please bare with me if my questions seem bizarre.

  OK, my problem is that recently, I wanted to start my CyberLink Power2Go program but it keeps giving me an error that is:

  The CyberLink Power2Go makes part of the DVD Suite program, however, is only the Power2Go that does not work. And, given that this program has been pre-installed since I bought my laptop, I have no way to reinstall the program.

  At the present time, I have already contacted Cyberlink Technical Support and they told me to contact HP to a copy of the DVD Suite them to uninstall everything and put it back.   I would be very grateful if someone could help me with this.

  I bought the G6 Pavilion in November last year. When I got home I went to a recognize (as recommended) recovery disks but the laptop there is a blank disc in the drive. I tried a couple of different brands, but nothing worked and I got to the PC world. They couldn't work out what the problem was if gave me a replacement, and exactly the same thing happened. They claimed that it was probably one of the "many problems with window 8'. Finally, I tried some Sony DVD - R discs and it worked (hooray!).

  However, since that time the player rarely works properly. It seems to work ok program disks, but don't like them burn all discs. It has never worked through iTunes, for a few days, it let me burn some discs of music with Cyberlink Power2Go but it no longer works.

  Sometimes when I go hard disk it will say there is no disk in it (when it exists) or is it in use? We'll see what he does today... OK, Virgin (Sony CD - RW) drive... the hard disk is whirring... but nothing happens on the screen. OK, navigate to my computer... Double-click the icon and it says: "How do you use this disk" and gives me two options: "as a USB' or 'player with a CD/DVD '. However, it only allows me to choose the first option (which I don't) and even if I click ok on the flash drive option, it says that the drive must be formatted, mess around trying to do for about 10 minutes and then says format failed.

  Can anyone suggest anything? PC World that it is a software problem and my problem (thank you guys). Really grateful for any help.

  I suggest using the corresponding update firmware in the driver download section.  Who looks more like a problem of hardware/firmware for me. Use Device Manager to select the firmware update software good optical disc. If the firmware update does not resolve the problem, thencontact HPfor warranty repair.

  I am using Toshiba satellite P20 - 604 model - load with windows xp prof - SP2. I wasn't able to use the software from burning DVDs successfully, so I tried to install cyberlink Power2Go software (trial ver) in there and ended up with "No. DVD RAM DRIVE APPEAR" in my computer. I could see the device dvd - ram with a yellow exclamation point in Device Manager. (the drive model is MAST * A DVD-RAM UJ-811). I tried to update the driver for it, no use. No idea how to recover the original driver and make it available for use dvd - ram drive? waiting for your valuable solution.

  I bought this HP laptop a couple of months with Windows 8 operating system.

  I did everything but stand on my head a s * t apples little green to download and put in place the Cyberlink2go on this computer.  I get the NEED TO upgrade in the updates from HP... I have downloaded... and tried to install... It is said that missing a dll:RegKey64bit so it will not be installed and when told that I have to uninstall so I try to uninstall... it gives me the same error dll... A lot of good, he does have to burn a dvd of my choice... the only DVD that have been done are 5 for RECOVERY...

  What's wrong with this... is it because I bought this laptop especially at Walmart?  Or is this phone and windows 8, a piece of junk...?
