PowerPoint Viewer KB 2413381 update problems
Hello, I guess a lot of people are going to have a problem with this update! I tried to find a way to update manually, but have developed zero. I have windows vista SP2 and Office 2007 to Microsoft Office/Home/student. Problem is with this update about the PowerPoint Viewer. Anyone have any ideas? I'd be happy. I don't want to call MS, but this is becoming a real pain! Thanks for any help! jmd06
* original title - HELP! PROBLEMS WITH THE UPDATE OF MICROSOFT OFFICE POWERPOINT VIEWER UPDATE KB 2413381 *.
The update is probably a failure because it can't find its source files. Remove the Viewer to supply and install the last and then run WU again to see if there are updates for this (before you remove the files/media/installation of the sources).

Windows Update for powerpoint viewer wil not install - error code 0 x 4397
I tried several times to install this update without success. Also tried the Microsoft Fixit for Windows Update, but it has not fixed the problem.
The update is
Security for PowerPoint Viewer 2003 (KB969615) update
Any suggestions? It will probably not install because most likely the update is looking for the original source.
As this is a security for the 2003 Viewer update, why not get rid of it all together and download the new version-

Remove your MS Powerpoint Viewer 2003 and install a more recent version of the Powerpoint Viewer. The update is most likely a failure because it cannot find the original installation files...

Hi, when I get an email to PowerPoint I click on enregistrer to save on trombone, then save it to my documents... then I must open documents to get the powerpoint e-mail... is there a way I can just click on the paperclip and powerpoint automatically opens the email instead of going to all the steps, I pass by?
....... so I open documents to get the email of powerpoint...
Does this mean that you were able to open the pesented after that that it has been saved in the documents folder?
If so, this means that you already have the PowerPoint Viewer.
Your problem is... impossible to open powerpoint DIRECTLY from email.
Assuming you are using Windows Mail, try this tutorial...

Update of security for PowerPoint Viewer 2003 (KB969615) error 4397
original title: security for PowerPoint Viewer 2003 (KB969615) update
I try to update the security for PowerPoint Viewer 2003 (KB969615) update and the answer is the error code 4397. Can you help me with this? Allways says the same error code.
The majority of Viewer updates fail to install due to the inability to locate the installation source.
As it is only a viewer update, uninstall the PowerPoint 2003 Viewer and install the latest PowerPoint Viewer.

PowerPoint Viewer does not work in Outlook Express 6

If it saves the file, it locates and double click top, he opens the 2010 pp Viewer and watch the slide show. Although this means for me the file associated with PPS is ok, I checked it in folder options, and yes it seems ok.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you
