Powers on but no display

Hello

I have a netbook (Acer Aspire One), which closes and is unbootable.
The laptop powers, but shows no display and will not work on an external monitor. There is no beep codes and I toggled with the fn key and the monitor buttons, but still nothing.
When I then turn off the netbook, the screen flashes faintly gray before shutting down completely and it's the only display that happens.
I removed the HARD drive and then tried, but again the same thing happened and no codes yet no sound if she not yet DISPLAY.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

I managed to fix it by creating a crisis disk (it is what it is called) on a USB thumb drive, which contained a flash BIOS on this subject.
The PC turns off all by downloading something so I got an idea, that's not a part that went bad and was most likely associated virus.

    To be honest, it's probably a hardware failure, possibly a DC controller.

    If you can find a printer used to replace by which could be your best option.

    I did a quick check on ebay on saw one for $99 with free shipping, but do not know if the free applies to you in Hawaii.

    You can do a search of eBay based on the distance so you might get lucky and find an available close enough to pick up.

    Toner also works in the CM1415 MFP.

    Problem is when I press the power button / stop everything is heard to work: initiates turns hard drive, CD/DVD player, power lights turns on, pressing the button function causes the light turn on the keyboard - but not display screen to show the BIOS boot. If I turn on the power again by the 5th or 6th attempt, the computer starts normally. Once up and running, all right and if a soft reboot is done from windows (7) the system reboots normally with no hang ups.

    Have checked memory rests correctly and substituted a good hard drive known so I don't think that the problem is in this area. BIOS has been updated for the latest 64-bit system running everything works fine once the system was persuaded to run.

    Another clue is normally the model boots when power supply is connected to the sector and open lid that has stopped working. Perhaps suspect hardware problem switching can anyone advise solution and give information how to open the case to fix.

    The power is turn on and get the green lights but no display on the screen. It happens from time to time.

    I can't say with certainty what part could be affected, but fact is that if the Toshiba start screen does not appear at the beginning of the startup procedure. This means that the self-test isn t power began and could not be passed correctly. This could be linked to the problem of the motherboard or part connected to the motherboard. That is to say.     You need a greater power to support a PCI-E power connector 6 pin. Try a Corsair CX500, or CX600. The image below is that of a NVIDIA GTX 650 which shows where to connect the PCI-E 6-pin connector to the graphics card.  Most of the HP PC which have a greater power or 460 watt have they support for the PCI-E power connector 6-pin.

    In OE: Tools | Accounts, select the account and export it to the desktop. This will be an .iaf file. Copy it to the new desktop computer.
     
    For WLMail 2009: Tools | Accounts and import the settings from the location you saved the.
     
    For WLMail 2011: The Menu button. Options | E-mail accounts and import the settings from the location you saved the.
     

    Account settings do not matter in WLMail 2012. You will have to do it manually.

  • E250R dead? Encoder turns on but no display

    The wheel turns on when I plug in the USB cable, but not display (black).

    My XP PC recognizes it as a USB device only, not as a Sansa player. Requests to install software via the new hardware wizard. Still no display. Windows Explorer does not list an icon in the list of drives.

    Pressing menu seems it turns off after 15 seconds, but the same thing happens when turn on - no display.

    This player sat unused for a few months, now this problem...

    Any suggestions? Loved this little player!

    You can try removing the battery for a few minutes and re-install. Sometimes this 'hard' reset will work when the 'soft' press the power button & hold does not work.

    Addendum: can I scan with the HP printer help.  I open the HP printer assistant, he "gets" the printer information, then I select "scan a document or photo" and the printer answers.   I have no problem with the sweep.

    It has been awhile, but I played on something you wrote.  "There could be a software conflict with the HP software" everything worked very well... impression was shifted at best; just didn't know if it would work.  So I would eliminate a program, reboot clean, try to print, and then reinstall the software.  I finally found the culprit.  I had a program running in the background, occasionally.  When it ran, HP does not print.  Stop the program and I was able to print... Do not have a problem since I found it... I do not say that it was a software to share files... so I replaced since this program with something else that doesn't cause problems...  It took a long time and I couldn't work the question every day.... but I can say that I have problems printing for the past 5 days!  I can print with confidence.

    I am trying to load FontAwesome locally (using MAMP) like this in your head:

    If I inspect an element and click on "Fonts" I can confirm that Firefox does in fact the police - it's simply not display (all I see are unicode characters).

    I tried:

    -Disable all add-ons

    -Hard reset Firefox

    -Implementation of the suggestion of .htaccess

    But the police will appear in Safari and not in Firefox - I'm totally stumped. The strange thing is that a different custom font work in Firefox and if I load the EUR FontAwesome, it works.

    I literally copied the CSS from the EUR FontAwesome, so I don't know the class names are correct (more FontAwesome classes are applied) it's just that Firefox does not unicode characters using the font.

    I first test the fonts locally until I have create a backup incase CDN falls down.

    Any pointers in the right direction would be much appreciated.

    I just understood the question, I had copied the source FontAwesome CDN file that loads in Safari.

    I downloaded from the source of their site and now Firefox works - do not know what was missing, but maybe they serve slightly different versions according to the browser.

    Have you tried a different monitor on the PC, it has been connected to or check the laptop video output works with a different monitor?

    Have you tried a different VGA cable that was already with the monitor?

    If you've tried this without success... then the monitor decided that she needs to be replaced.
