PRE8 'Blue screens' attempts to write to a DVD

One of my friends asked that I put his "trip to China" on DVD. It's the number of AVI files, I imported into PRE8. The total length of the video is an hour and thirty-two minutes, the biggest project I've ever worked on. Okay, so I put it in DVD format with start, stop, and scene markers. The preview plays without problem. When I try to burn it to DVD, I immediately get the 'blue screen of death '. Ouch!  PRE8 even will not allow me to "burn" this project on my hard drive. My computer specs are below. Is this project just to big to be handled by PRE8? Oh and Yes, I created the Configuration system to run programs and less extreme and restart after TSR. Thanks for any input!

  • Blue screen when you use the CD/DVD on Satellite L30-105 player

I have a Satellite L30-105. Recently when using the CD/DVD drive, it began to crash (blue screen) after playing a DVD-video or a music CD.
Either way, I seem to only get playback of DVD-video and not the main sound track. Does anyone have an idea what may cause these errors.

    Hello

To my knowledge, the blue screen starts if there is a serious software problem or if some of the equipment is malfunctioning.
I put t believe that this blue screen error message can be caused by a defective CD/DVD drive.

Hmm, according to your message and you can not hear the main sound and cannot read music CDs, I think that this problem could be linked to the sound card.

In the first case I recommend updating the audio driver. If this does not help, try to recover the laptop with the supplied recovery CD and check if the same thing always happens on the new BONES recovered. (Don t install any 3rd party application).

    Good luck

  • Blue screen at startup windows 8 on attempt of fixing hp pavilion 15n invalid process

    Hi evrybody,

I FAQ had this problem when I start my laptop (hp pavilion 15n021se) on the lock screen, when I click to enter my password, just after the cruser mouse movement I get the blue screen saying that the error "Invalid attempt to fixing the process.

I searched this error and most of the results met my thoughts that the cause of this error is the touchpad driver.

I installed the latest version of the driver (sp64225), and it is not suitable for my windows, so I want a previous version of the driver please

and if there are possible causes other than the touch pad I'm enjoying mention of it and its solution

Thank you & hoping to solve my problem

Thank you for your kind help: super mario

I actually use the usb mouse, that's why I thought the problem with touchpad driver, so I asked for a previous version of this device other than sp64225.

So to make the touch pad, perfect work and prevent display of BSOD again once I already uninstalled the driver I downloaded from hp website (sp64225) and then I updated the driver from windows itself via the Device Manager and it worked perfctly.

So the solution has worked with me is to uninstall the hp driver and update the Device Manager devices, & till now the BSOD doesn't apear

Thanks again for your test from supermario

  • 32-Bit XP system - attempt to reinstall the start of the disc, guard blue screening.

Hi guys, I'm sorry if it was taken up elsewhere, I took a look through other threads prior to this announcement, but were not of those who looked more closely.  Basically, I'm trying to reinstall my operating system from the top of my current installation, saving my files.  I did it before the start of the disc, but this time my XP disc does not work properly.  I tried at least 20 times, I kid you not, but if it is not a blue screen at random times all while it loads the disc components, it screens in windows ALWAYS blue step load.  I wonder, if not, how I can reinstall XP, without having to buy a new drive, is there some way I can do this?

I posted this on other internet support forums, and it just happened to ask me HERE!
I really hope that someone can help me, I'm trying to start the study soon and my PC is really important to me, but there is NO way I could afford a whole new operating system... so I REALLY hope that it does not come to that...

    Cheers, Jay

    [Moved from comments]

    Hi Tony,

Blue screen errors can occur if a problem causes Windows 7 to stop or restart unexpectedly. You might see a message that says: "Windows was arrested to avoid damaging your computer."

These errors can be caused by hardware and software issues, and it can be difficult to solve the problem. The following methods and tools can often help get Windows running again.

    1. what operating system is installed on your computer?

    2. What is the code in the exact error message or Blue Screen of Death?

    3. have you made any recent hardware or exchange of software on your computer before the show?

What version of the operating system Windows am I running? :

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/help/which-version-of-the-Windows-operating-system-am-i-running

I suggest you remove all external devices except the keyboard and mouse and check if it helps.

I also suggest you follow the steps mentioned in the link below which may help you in the matter of fixing.

  • Blue screen on Windows Vista

OK, now here is the problem. My laptop dell Inspiron computer running windows vista will be randomly blue screen of anywhere between 15 minutes of use to 6 hours of use.

It is very important for me to have my laptop works well, I reinstalled my OS and returned my laptop to factory settings, then does a not reinstall all programs on it and then left on to see if this fixed the problem. There can be no.
All my drivers are up to date, it says on the error message for me to disable the in-memory cache and the cloak, but what I gathered people is not what you need to do and instead of uninstalling programs. Pretend that I have not installed programs is not a fix for me. I am currently using this computer to write it, so it works very well at all other times, and this blue screening time is completely random.

I'm not a computer expert, so please exscuse me, 3 days ago, the computer kept freezing, I am running a packard bell intel celeron with windows vista, I have norton anti virus so I don't think my problem is the apparent virus, first Frost was intermittent but after an hour or two , all froze and wouldn't respond, I disconnected the power and he started upward, repair of windows says something along the lines of stacking and told me I had to check my drivers, I rebooted and was able to get back on but after a few minutes it kept freezing up again I went through the process and finally managed to put online, a message popped up on my screen telling me to update vista to service pack 2, I did, the computer seems to work very well so I thought that the problem has been resolved, yesterday when I turned on the same thing happened, yet once I went through the process and finally got the computer to work after several attempts , it would start up then restart itself or sometimes the screen would be just black and nothing would happen, the computer would be buzz but anything in life. yesterday after finally getting to turn on another message came up saying there are 31 important updates for vista, I downloaded once again of course it seremed work very well and I thought it was fixed, but unfortunately not yet today the same thing happens when I arrived to start the computer I decided to write the blue screen messages that include

After that a long stay him to start it in safe mode, which took 2 hours is the same in safe mode, just frozen, I tried again and got to work in safe mode and it froze again and finally I managed to get to the top and works normally, I really have no idea what is wrong or how to fix it I managed to save important things like the photos that I have the impression that he wants to die, I even tried the system restore which is nothing because when it updated 2 days ago, it wipe all old restore points and so I absoloutley no way to restore to a point before he decides to drop , I have not downloaded new software in the last months have so no idea what could the cause of the problem, please help, and remember that while I can work around the basics I'm not an expert so please try to keep it simple :)

    Event Viewer reports

    1. normally, when an error occurs on your computer looking in Event Viewer should be your starting point to find a solution. More related system errors are recorded and get an exact copy of the relevant report is important. Unfortunately, is not easy to understand reports and most of the users computer need help with their interpretation. I have to say later interpretation.

2 Event Viewer includes three main newspapers of Windows. Here's the Application, security, and system. For purposes of troubleshooting system is by far the most important.

    3. to access the system log, select Start, Control Panel, administrative tools, Event Viewer, in the list on the left of the window select Windows and the system logs. Place the cursor on the system, right click and select filter current log. Check the front of the error and click OK and see you only reports errors. Click the Date and time column header to sort. You may need to click a second time to see the last report above.

    4. a tip for posting copies of error reports! Run Event Viewer and double-click the error you want to copy. Select the Details tab and check the box in front of the XML view. Click the copy button to place a copy in the Clipboard and close Event Viewer. Now start your message and paste it into the body of the message. Make sure that it is the first dough right out of the event viewer.

    5. He cautioned against three types of reports, information, and reports errors. In most situations, it is the error reports that offer the best information but sometimes WARNING reports provide useful clues.

    6. all reports have stamps date and hour and when troubleshooting, it is important to focus on the latest reports. Reports of studies from the point when the computer is started, and then check if a similar report appeared in the previous session. If errors do not repeat investigation as to why they happen is wasted effort.

    7. in the individual reports the most important information is the event ID and Source such as these help when looking for help on the internet. The description is just as important and copy the exact text to use as search criteria greatly helps achieve better results when using Google. Not paraphrase descriptions when other people asking for help.

    Hello

There were problems before you re-installed Windows?

Given that you did do a re-installation means that the causes are mainly hardware, BIOS, low-level chipset
drivers or other drivers and programs that load low level.

To see how to use BlueScreenView and MyEventViewer to troubleshoot the Bluescreens see the
Methods indicate in this thread - top 3 responses (+ 1 other).

    http://social.answers.Microsoft.com/forums/en-us/vistarepair/thread/3deab2fa-4000-4136-8c78-a3d22b1db009

We can analyze the minidumps if make you it available to the SkyDrive or another file
sharing sites. This may not help but it's worth a shot. Don't forget to check the wiring and
    Rigorously test the hard drive.

ZIP or download the content of the C:\Windows\minidump

Use SkyDrive to upload collected files.

    -------------------------------------------------------------

The most likely causes are the hard drive problems, wiring or a problem of hard disk (on the motherboard) controller. Some
antivirus/antispyware/security programs could play a role. See message methods to test the
    course over ground.

    BCCode: 24 stop Code 0 x 00000024

    Cause

One possible cause of this bug check is damaged drive. Corruption in the system of NTFS file or defective (sectors) on the hard disk can cause this error. Corrupted drivers SCSI and IDE may also compromise the ability to read and write to the disk system, so causing the error.

Another possible cause is the depletion of memory pool non paged. If the nonpaged memory is exhausted, this error can shut down the system. However, during the indexing process, if the amount of memory available nonpaged pool is very small, another driver in nonpaged kernel memory in pool mode may also cause this error.

    Solve the problem

To solve a problem of hard drive corruption: Check Event Viewer for error of SCSI and FASTFAT (syslog) messages or Autochk (the application log) that might help determine the device or driver that generated the error. Try disabling any antivirus software or Disk Defragmenter tools that continually monitor the system. You must also run the diagnostics of material provided by the manufacturer of the system. For more information about these procedures, see the manual of your computer. RunChkdsk /f /r to detect and resolve any file system structural corruption. You must reboot the system before the start of the analysis of disk on a system partition.

The main cause of all who's memory probems if there may be other causes.
See the test article in the next message memory.

Remove ALL power and reinstall all the memory cards and cables (both ends where possible).
in fact, remove and replace - don't do not just tight. Make sure that the vents are clear and that the
the fans are working. Even if the temperature is OK assume no heat does not affect the video,.

Have you recently added any hardware? Have you updated any drivers just before this started?

  • 0x0000008E early upward blue screen

original title: Blue screen 0x0000008E, desperately need help!

Ello, been some frustrating problems with my computer. I am running Windows Vista Home Premium
    Version: 6.0.6000 build 6000

It is a desktop HP Pavilion I had to replace the motherboard for.
    Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-G41M-ES2L
Processor: Intel Pentium Dual CPU E2180

So, whenever I try to log in normally the computer immediately blue screens with this message STOP: 0x0000008E (0xC0000005, 0x821F5C19, 0xA5BCB91C, 0x00000000). The computer starts in safe mode but. Here are the steps I took to solve the problem. I used Hiren's Boot CD and just about every program that comes with it in the hope that it would be just a problem of virus/spyware/malware (including GMER, SmitFraud, Malwarebytes and ComboFix).

I disconnected the memory and attempt to start the computer to the top, same problem. Does a memtest as well. Then I unplugged and the computer on everything that was connected to the computer. The graphics card is shipped so I couldn't actually test this. Tried to update the chipset, the graphics card, drivers audio and everything but as soon as I log on the drivers are always roll would be back in their earlier version, which I find very strange. I also used my Windows Vista disk to try to repair the installation and do a chkdsk/r. I would like to provide information dump, but for some reason any there is no file in my minidump folder. Whew, sorry for the long explanation, but I thought I would get everything that I realized that I suppose would have suggested road.

We can analyze the minidumps as indicated in the previous answer but there is a very
good luck the question is associated with memory.

You can access in Safe Mode - several times F8 tap that you start?

If necessary use the methods below to run the Startup Repair to see if you have better access.

Then go back and use the methods in the Troubleshoot utility above to see if you can solve
    the question.

  • The matching blue screens and random reboots/crashes.

Greetings. A year ago, I built a new computer, including the following parts:

AMD Athlon 64 Dual Core 89W

    Motherboard ASUS M3A78 Pro

Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 250 GB Sata internal HD

4 GB of Ram DDR2 (not sure of the speed/brand)

Since installing windows, I started getting blue screens of various types. Here are some blue screens I have met:

Interrupt Unhandled Exception, failure of Page in the paginated, computer space made an attempt to write to read only memory, Memory_Management, IRQL not less or equal and Driver IRQL not less or equal. When these blue screens occur, some remain on the screen, while other flick on briefly and the computer begins to restart.

On top of these blue screens, I also sound experience breaks down in loop in games. These experiences are breakers occur anywhere from 5 minutes to more than two hours of play.

In the first dealing with this issue, I decided to test the memory with memtest86. A test actually froze on me. A second test showed no problems. Because of the freeze, I took a bit of ram to see if there could be a problem with some of the sticks is bad. Low and here are the problems disappeared. For a period of time. Some games have kept crashing on me, while others have worked without a hitch. I will mention that a game (World of Warcraft) seems to have more memory than others still ran without encountering any problem later.

Because of all the questions, I decided to reformat/reinstall windows to make sure that everything has been installed correctly. Right out of the door, it began freezing at all normal intervals.

I have this post is because I am curious about how of course, I can be that these problems are caused by a single hardware issue (I think I'm the ram). I ask because DDR2 Ram is cheaper and my motherboard will not support DDR3. However, if I buy the overvalued price DDR2 and it does not solve the problem, then it ends up being a pretty big money sink.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
