• Some missing brush tips

  There are a few things to do:

  1. Edit... Preferences... Display of cursors & and see if you put the cursor displays correctly.
  2. Increase the size of the brush.
  3. Turn off your CapsLock key.

  Looks like you missed something.  Spacing with the shape bristle brush for Photoshop 7 and he was there in a slightly different way to Photoshop 3 or more.

  Because the tip of your brush is set to display the actual shape and size of the brush, if your brush is a circle of 80px, this circle more and smaller as you zoom in and zoom out - this is because the pixels are larger or smaller as a percentage of your screen size. Changing the size of the brush when you zoom in and zoom out is actually the tool you draw with.

  You can control the display of the brush tip cursor, if that's any help - there are several options in the preferences > cursors.

  However, it is not possible to automatically change the brush size when you zoom in, even if looks like it's what you want to do (change a smaller brush when you have zoomed in).   My paint brush tool is set on a standard, hard (100%) around edge of 100% opacity and flow. My preference of paint slider is set to the normal brush tip which wants to say that I see a circular outline representing the tip.

  When I click on the tool paint brush, I expect that the brand of paint completely fill the circular outline that I see. Instead, he fills a percentage less (perhaps 10 to 15%) than the circular outline. That happen all the time and no matter the size of the brush. As you can probably imagine, there is no precise painting.

  I suppose that some time, somehow, by mistake, I've changed a setting but for the life of me, I don't know what it could be. The only thing I tried (because I can't think of anything) is screw up my settings and that made no difference.

  Can anyone help with this?

  Most likely, as others post this same problem in this forum, you have a video card driver NVidia more former that you have not successfully updated for a year or two.

  Go update the driver from the NVidia website.
