Preferences for not exporting plugins

Hi all

I'm working on a plugin that will have a LrExportMenuItems entry, but is not an export department or a filter.  Thus the typical entry exportPresetFields which would allow me to automatically load and save the preferences of the plugin doesn't seem to be an option for me.  But I need to manage state (Preferences) information in the invocations of the plugin.

I tried to use "import" LrPrefs'.prefsForPlugin () "" to access preferences and then rewrite changes in the variable I save this value in (including the rewriting of certain values to trigger recording).  Doco LrPrefs in the SDK software means that you can save preferences using this approach.  In most languages that wouldn't work, but given the nature of LUA, there was a chance.  Unfortunately, it did not work so far and I think it's because there is no service export or filter defined in this plugin.

If someone managed to easily save preferences for non-export plugins in the lightroom preferences file?  If this is not the case, what alternative approaches people have used to save state between calls of your plugins?

Thank you

Matt

PS Sean, John, in the case where you ask a firewall stopped the loading WYSIWIG editor.  Killed the firewall and now I can post here and post new threads.  Stupid laptop business companies public...

This looks like a bug. Not sure about the description, if it's your bug or mine.

Can post you a snippet of code or send one for me ([email protected])?

This could be a problem for export plugins that is not applicable on our modern (ah hem) OS. I'll do some tests but I think the rest of buffer should work. The example out just consecutive exports at a time and use advanceState for Photoshop manage memory.

  • export plugin: how to learn the path of the source of the exported files?

Short version: an export plugin to determine the path of the source of an image that was exported as a copy in a temporary directory?  If so, how?

    Long version...

I am a user SDK newbie, writing a plugin which implements multiple images to my own external program which them melts and produces one or more new images that the user probably wants to reimport into Lightroom.

I have the plugin works OK with export to a temporary directory.

Now I would like to add a feature in which my program gets access to the path of the folder to the original image, so that it can offer the user the ability to record images of result in the same directory.

Is it possible for the export plugin get the source for an exported image path, say an object of rendering?

Can also export plug-in information identical or similar, otherwise, for example by determining the path for the folder that is currently selected in the Lightroom Catalog?

    Thanks for your suggestions!

    -Rik

I don't think that the metadata for source path are in the exported file.

Once I manually coded the source path in the jpeg file to export, but I stopped doing that, now I just save some info I need as part of the ID "at a distance" (assuming that to publish the service).

But maybe I misunderstood. I mean, when export the source path is readily available as rendition.photo:getRawMetadata ('path') - is that what you mean? (I thought before that you were speaking after export, possibly loooong after export...).

Someone at - it an idea to solve this problem?

I solved the problem. The reason was a misconfigured bin-path in the classpath of eclipse. Eclipse has generated the classfiles in a place other than the compiler of the CAP have searched for them. 'S done it by the classpath setting. Now, everything works very well as he has done before.

  • Export Photoshop preferences do not stick

I've just started using exports after that see the legacy save for web kept crashing. It is great except it uses by default GIMP png instead of jpeg. I've changed that in the preferences for export, but it won't stick, nothing in this preference box of sticks. Open / I'm leaving, I'm stumped. Thank you.

PS there at - it a way to signature for this forum: I find no where to do.

    PS CC2015

Well, that true, you will lose a few parameters as the interface will change to the rest of the default values that everything will stay as it is.

To be better side you can move the preferences file to the office folder and check if she really solve the problem.

Location of the Photoshop Preferences file: Mac HD > users > Username > library > Preferences > Adobe Photoshop CC 2015 parameters, you can move the entire folder on the desktop 'Adobe Photoshop CC 2015 settings' then run the Photoshop and try to use it.

Now if the steps above did not help then you can simply move this folder to its previous location.

    Kind regards

  • Lightroom suddenly will not export JPEG for me more

I just spent 3 days post processing almost 1,000 photos in Lightroom, finally have everything as I want it and suddenly Lightroom will not export JPEG for me more.

The dialog box appears that says 'Export files 854'... but goes not past the first file... it is just there quietly and I see that it is not doing anything.

Thought maybe it was all just too many... but when I select only a hand-full of images... it does the same thing.

Perhaps thought I watered my catalog, so I created a new catalog and imported the photos of the old catalog... no change.

Thought, maybe my whole plant is watered since that last to this day with the terrible import changes... so I uninstalled LR CC (using the uninstall program) including the preferences... and then reinstalled.

    Nothing works.

I still have 5 Lightroom on my computer, and I could import these files in there and re - treat everything there and then export... but I just spent 3 days of treatment of these images, don't want to lose it again 3.

I have a Macbook Pro running with a 2.6 GHZ Intel Core i7, 8 GB ram and 1 GB on the NVIDIA GPU, Yosemite and management of SSD drives... According to the requirements of the system my machine should have no problem to launch Lightroom (and I have never so far)

Someone tell me please I can do something.

    Thank you

Last night, I was desperate, and in the meantime someone answer this, I started to look for other threads and found those that you have linked to.

I tried to uncheck the 'show 'Add Photos' screen', and the deactivation of the GPU acceleration... but nothing worked.

I ended up back at 2015.1.1 and now life is good.

    Thank you!

  • CS6 exporter Plugin does not open premiere elements 11 (Windows)

I want to make my exporter (Windows) - compatible with 11 elements of first plugin.

So far, I've got my exporter plugin in Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 and Media Encoder CS6 and the plugin it runs correctly.

I then followed the indications for execution of Premeire CS6 to create an export preset (*.epr) file.  I copied copied this file exported *.epr to 'OTHERS/MyCompany/MyPreset.epr' in my first [App installation folder] 11.  (As well as the copy of the plugin-binary *.prm to Plug-ins/common

In the tab < Publish: share > when I use the mouse to select 'OTHER', I get an error dialog box:

"Premiere Elements has encountered an error.

    [..-.. \Src\Exporter_Accessors.cpp-213] "[Continue]

After I click on continue, I do not get the dialog box to my plugin-exporter.  In the tab < Publish: share >, I now see the triangle warning and text next to it: "export invalid parameters."

Premiere Elements team notes that first elements 11 is based on the version of MediaCore CS5.5.  So, using the SDK CS5.5 is probably the best way to build plug-ins to specifically target the Prem El 11.

  • WARNING! : no definition not found for static exported routine: .main (String [])

    Hello world

In the JDE, I opened two different projects in the workspace of "samples" where all demonstration projects. One of my apps built correctly, also it is open in the Simulator and runs smoothly. But in the same way, when I try to build and run my application to another, it shows in the Simulator.

When generating, it displays the following warning, but still shows the "full version".

WARNING! : no definition not found for static exported routine: .main (String [])

What could be the problem? In my application, there is no hand method (String []) anywhere. Please help me to solve the problem, as I can't test my application. Best regards.

Hi Rene, I found the solution. Can't say, it's a solution, but is a parameter that is required to be done, especially for execution the Midlets. Just put here what I did... Select the project, right-click on it, then select the "Application" tab, and then change the 'Midlet' Project Type, then click OK. She's. Clean and build the project, now it will not show the warning. in any case, thanks much, Rene, for your time and valuable suggestions. Best regards.

  • Clip Notes in CS4/Acrobat 9: transcript, no controls for QuickTime export

When I use the function to transcribe and then export my project to Clip Notes, it exports every word transcribed in a separate comment. It doesn't seem to be a means of repression that and it doesn't seem to be a way to remove a transcript in PP or Acrobat format. The result is that the reviewer sees all these comments and that he struggles with Acrobat to insert new comments. When I import the xfdf in PP, I get the filled transcription in markers as well as comments from the assessor. Unless I opened to everyone, I can't tell what are the components.

Is there at least a way of removing the transcript in PP or Acrobat?

Also, if I export QuickTime video, there is no player control in Acrobat. I don't get the player controls if I export as Windows Media. This means that some Mac users will not be able to use my Clip Notes export. I've seen others ask about it, but not answers. Any ideas? I'm running it under Windows Vista Ultimate Edition.

But I find it amazing that there is no way to remove this shit. Adobe has made a big deal of the transcript, but it seems that they have not consider it as more than a gimmick, as they did half cooked. I think you are right that it is better not to use this 'feature '.

I don't know if it's necessarily demi-cuite, as long as it's an overly optimistic assessment of the ability of technology at this time. I mean, he creates words and sometimes very interesting to those who

What is interesting to me, is that when I tested the function of transcribed at the time where Adobe has released the beta version of Soundbooth CS4, it was MUCH more accurate - and I examined him on the joint, final a Betacam SP absorbed documentary soundtrack. The transcript is not anywhere near 100%, but it is actually usable. Now, he struggles on audio virgins of a simple and clear voice track. Wish it wasn't so...

Anyway, you can stop the transcript appeared in a Clip Notes export. Look at the following screenshot for the how-to:

  • my external cd will not appear in the finder or on the desktop.  I went into preferences for the finder and intended to show the CD, I can load a blank cd and iTunes says and I burn on it then the cd will appear on the desktop.

CD/DVD players don't appear that a disk is inserted. It's normal.

  • What are the preferences of ff-related plugin - container.exe in its new version of ff? Specifically, I would like to change them all: config to disable plugin - container.exe

I did it with a previous version of ff by changing the values of these preferences: dom.ipc.plugins.enabled to true

    DOM. Fake IPC.plugins.Enabled.npctrl.dll

    DOM. Fake IPC.plugins.Enabled.npqtplugin.dll

    DOM. Fake IPC.plugins.Enabled.npswf32.dll

    DOM. True IPC.plugins.Enabled.nptest.dll

    dom.ipc.plugins.timeoutSecs 45

After I installed ff on my laptop today I can not find the .dll preferences. And plugin - container.exe continues to torment me. For me, that's the only problem with ff since the 7 update. It boggles me as to why you have not managed to get rid of this thing.

To disable the crash protection, go to about: config and all preferences from dom.ipc.plugins.enabled set to false. (It is possible that your browser has only this entry preferably without any additions.) This will prevent the process of "plugin-container" of race and all plugins will run within the process of Firefox. (from Disabling_crash_protection )

  • PS CC: Does not export as PNG fully transparent

Why Photoshop CC will not export PNG as transparent. It keeps adding color to my drop shadows and transparent images, no matter what I do. Even the intro to photoshop Panel is displayed with a color that surrounds the Reiver transparency box to open photoshop. I already uninstalled and reinstalled.

Here are some examples of how they compare from Photoshop to the exported version. I save as PNG-24 and now no matter what I do, photoshop won't export my transparent images properly. I can not find anywhere with the same problem, so I don't know how to solve this problem.
