  You have certainly a few design issues.

  The structure of stacked sequence tends to create more problems than it solves. I the have not used in new programs since version 1.2 of LabVIEW (in 1989). A state machine is a much better choice of architecture.

  Local variables can cause race conditions, copies of additional data, poor performance and it is difficult to debug code. There are special cases when they should be used, but these conditions are not in your code. Just wire directly on the terminals of control at the scene, the data will be used.

  My guess on the likely cause of your error is the use of several DAQ Assistant to perform the same task (with different data values) in each image in the sequence structure. With the arcitecture state machine that I suggested above, you would need one. The DAQ Assistant trying to be clever on the configuration and tasks of closing, but different instances do not speak with each other, so they don't know when to release the resources.  You might be able to do work if you used the DAQmx screw standard you have done with the task of digital output.  You do not connect the error lines of the DAQ Assistant for you can be missing errors.

  Indicators and controls without legend may be a troubleshooting nightmare. Please give each control and seeing a unique label. If you don't want the visible label on the front, you can use the properties of the control to hide. If you want multiple controls to have the same visible text for the operator, use the legend.

  Learn how to use subVIs. Most of the code in the 6 images of the structure of internal sequence is identical. By converting only a Subvi, you would reduce considerably the size of the diagram and if you ever need to modify the code, it should only be changed in one place - the Subvi.

  The while loop in frame 0 of structure of outer sequence is a "gourmet" loop He's going to run as fast as possible and seize all available CPU resources until the user presses a button. I work in a school and I recently read an article by someone in another educational environment, indicating that they were having problems when too many profiles have been created on a computer.

  Given that integrated user profiles manager only allows you to delete each one profile, it's almost an option to the volume of user profiles that exist in such a laboratory environment. Remove Group Policy Computer Configuration-> policies-> administrative templates-> system-> user-> user profiles profiles of a certain number of days on system restart
  which exists in Server 2008 R2 does not.

  Why can't new versions of Firefox come at least with the option for the traditional File-View-History-Bookmarks-Tools-Help! Many users like this feature and if we don't have it we might as well revert to Chrome as a browser. Previous to return to the menu patches do not work on the end versions so give us a permanent solution please

  First of all, here are my current profile:

  Lately when I am looking at the list of users connected to the server via the tab sharing files I noticed more and more users who connect to Time Machine to back up at the same time. When there are so many users doing this that it slows everybody back down.

  Is there a way I can strangle the number of users connected at the same time?

  I don't believe it.

  Perhaps you should consider setting up more than one time server Machine and distributing users between them. It would be probably exaggerated, but in theory, you could have two or Mac connected to a San to share a storage pool and each being then a time server Machine. I'd probably use independent storage for everyone in this case well unless you already have a SAN system.

  You might also consider bonding of two or more network interfaces on the Mac mini to give it a faster network connection or more money there today Thunderbolt 10 Gbit/s Ethernet adapters.

  2 x 1 Gbit/s = 2 Gbit/s, or 1 x 10 Gbps is clearly going to be able to support more network traffic and so more users than just the single integrated to 1 Gbit/s Ethernet port. You need a network switch that also supports Ethernet 10 Gbps, or LACP aka. 802.3ad as the standard of channel binding depending on the approach you have chosen.

  Indexing = sometimes, computer is very slow to scan (index?) drive / content folder

I don't know what "MS fix utility" to try (IE test of memory). C: drive is 3 GB to 500 GB full so cannot move to WIN 10 (maybe it is?) I'm lost...

• MacBook Air freezes randomly

  Hi all

  I had a problem with my Macbook Air early 2015 since nearly a month. I freeze random OS experience (I'm under OS X El Capitan 10.11.4): the cursor moves and the keyboard is unresponsive, so I can't do anything at all. The only thing I can do to "unlock", it requires the laptop to restart (by turning manually him off and then back on). This problem occurs more or less one or two times a week and I didn't notice a particular task or request that I am running that may cause the gel. Usually, it happens while I'm surfing the web with Safari, but not all the time.

  Any ideas or suggestions on how to solve the problem?

• LabVIEW freezes randomly while loop

  I'm relatively new to LabView, I like to think that I learned a lot through trial and error and read this forum, but I am confused by something here. I hope someone out there has an idea.

  I have a program that controls a pump. I am communicating via a USB-serial cable. In general, how my program works is that it sends a command to the pump, and then he immediately starts querying the pump for its status. I have the query in a loop that repeats every second. While the pump is moving it returns the busy status, and when it finishes it returns to the ready state. When the program receives the ready status, it exits the application and send the following command.

  I have a Subvi, which questions the pump, and I use it in many places in my program. The problem is that all this works 95% of the time, 5% of the time the loop freezes for some reason any. The timing of this gel, location in the main program and the number of iterations of the loop that occur before the Frost are all random.

  I've attached pictures of the front panel and block diagram of the Subvi. The loop on the left is querying the pump and the Subvi in the Subvi labelled 2 is communication with the pump on the VISA. When I realized that the program has been stuck in the loop, I added the second loop (right) as a kind of "time out". If the program is blocked at this point for a specified number of seconds, it must end the left loop. But it happens, right loop stops but never left, we read the true statement and sticking. LabView itself is not frozen because I can go and the sons of the probe.

  Again, it is really difficult to solve because it occurs only 5% of the time or less. If anyone has any ideas as to why this is happening, I would be very grateful. I didn't post the real VI here would be useful, but please let me know if you want to take a peek.

  Opening and closing of the VISA session several times are generally not a good idea.  It is preferable to configure the port outside the loop, do th ereads and written inside the loop, and then close the session after the end of the loop.  I would not be surprised if your serial port gets frozen due to the frequent opens and closes.

  In the end, you should learn about state machines.  This architecture would be appropriate for this type of program.

• Hanging of freezing, random R61

  I bought December ' 07 7742-CTO. It has Nvidia Quadro NVS 140 m, preloaded with XP Pro. Now that it is out of warranty, it has started to freeze randomly. No matter if the R61 is connected to the battery, in slow time or opportunity of the day, etc. It's typical scenario: I look at the time of Windows in the system tray and see that this is incorrect (stuck at the time of the accident), the mouse is mobile but the next click will be freeze/hang up the system. Only solution is to hard reboot. The frequency of gel is passed once / week several times / day.

  Then, let me say that I have a lot of technical experience with a PC. The BIOS and drivers are all the latest news from Lenovo. All the Microsoft critical updates are applied. I scanned for viruses and malware so that scrubbed the registry. In addition, here are a few other tactics I've tried:

  (1) fully tested RAM

  (2) I tried different RAM

  (3) traded adapters CA / CC and tried inserted battery and battery removed

  (4) different hard drives

  (5) AHCI, change in compatibility mode

  (6) removed, inspected, and cleaned Fan-Heatsink

  (7) again a thermal conductive grease on CPU and GPU

  (8) PC Doctor Diagnostics on the system powered up to nothing

  (9) the Nvidia and NVSC Service startup items disabled

  I even tried to start diagnosis by using MSConfig and minimum startup items and it freezes again. I suspect that the NVidia NVS 140 m GPU is bad. Someone out there with similar problems?

  No one answered, but the problem is solved. The R61 has thermal problems. I installed ThinkPad Fan Control, which is a part of 3rd freeware utility and to keep the Intel CPU and Nvidia GPU in reasonable time. Freeze either. Don't know why Lenovo stock in place was not able to avoid overheating, but the laptop is solid as a rock now.

  I use the internet cable. The cable is properly connected and I tried to solve the problems, but didn't work.

  I have not had the opportunity to try, but if you have access to another machine, you should be able
  do a repair reinstall of Windows by installing your HARD drive on this computer, unless activation

  While Chieftek is apparently made by the mfg even as some brands that are more

• Satellite Pro R850-15F - freezing randomly and the fan speeds up

  I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro R850-15F who gave me four years in refurbished condition and so it is quite old.
  I have recently installed Windows 10 and things seemed to work very well.

  However, last week, I noticed that at least once a day my laptop freezes randomly and immediately the internal fan accelerates, becomes much stronger and a cold air. Whenever this happens, I turned off the laptop and turn it back on it.

  After that, it works normally again until the next time it freezes. I don't know anything about computer hardware, but I suspect that it is a problem of series and I wanted to get some advice in case my laptop is close to dying.

  If anyone has any help or advice or suggestions to solve the problem, then I would be extremely grateful if you would contact me.

  On this virtual path, it is not easy to say what the problem is here. To me, it looks like problem with some background process that as a result of extremely high CPU usage that locks the phone whole.
  High CPU usage means more heat in such situation the fan starts to run a lot faster.
