Preloader - white screen?

I know that there are a thousand forum topics on the white screen occurs all by making a preloader.  However, I can't find one that solved my problem.

I understand that its cause is because the size of my file on frame 1, the preloader, is too large.  I used the bandwidth Profiler to confirm: 154 ko.

* Indeed, my frame 1 is too large, causing the white screen for a while *.

However, the only thing on my 1 frame is a rectangle for the preloader, and a text box for the percentage.  The rest of my film is on frame 3.  (I left frame 2 empty, because I read that sometimes the simulation in CS5, download two frames 1 and 2.

My actionscript settings are on export in frame 3.

These are the only solutions for white screen problem I found on the forums I don't know why my frame 1 is 154 KB, or how to fix it.

If it helps, I have quite a large list of external files embedded, as well as 4 or 5 custom classes.  I'm not sure if embeded naturally files loading on frame 1 and could be the cause of the problem?  Idk.

Any help is very appreciated.

If you use a flash to embed active (IE, you use the embed tag), you can not control when they are loaded, so they will all load at the beginning of your application.

  • Preloader displaying does not simulate download - white screen

    Hello:

    I followed a tutorial on gotoandlearn.com and followed by a "T", but can not solve myself. I built a simple preloader in AS2, but when I simulate the download for a Flash site in Adobe Flash CS4, I see is a white screen, and then continues on the site. I preview the profile of bandwidth and I see that it works it's magic preload; I can't see the animation.

    I looked through many forums and I don't use of components that are exported to the first image - at least one that I know. Everyone knows the same problem?

    My set up is the following (from Lee tutorial):

    First keyframe (action):

    var amountloaded:Number = _root.getBytesLoaded()/_root.getBytesTotal ();

    PreLoad._width = amountLoaded * 190;

    loadText.text = Math.round(amountLoaded * 100) + '% ';

    Second keyframe (action):
    {if (_root.getBytesLoaded () == {_root.getBytesTotal ())}
    gotoAndPlay (3);
    }
    else {}
    gotoAndPlay (1);
    }
    Third keyframe:
    Stop();

    Any thoughts? Thank you!

    any framework 1 and all export for actionscript Framework 1, take care before your preloader displays.  so, if your preloader begins at 40%, you export probably a good amount of assets for actionscript Framework 1.

    to remedy this, use a standalone preloader or export for some frame after frame 3.

  • Captivate published file - white screen, play dead bar 8

    I published a captivate file 8, and what I see is a white screen with a play bar dead. It is not a problem of the Preloader setting. Does not work if the percentage Preloader is set at 100% or 10%. No idea how to solve this problem?

    You have no pre-test question slide or you branch to the current activated in the Quiz settings?  Which will disable the playback bar.

  • Of failure, white screen MacBook Pro HARD drive try to boot from the external HARD drive

    Hello

    I have a 2008 Macbook Pro which is having some problems, I was able to fix them, but eventually the hard drive failed. I know that because at startup until it would have a white screen Uni (no logo) and you can hear a clicking on in the lower left corner. I thought initially it was a memory problem, but after opening and verification of memory, it's clearly the hard drive.

    I solved this problem temporarily (until I can replace the HARD disk) by installing El captain on an external HARD disc and start from that. Here's the twist, I couldn't he can begin to El captain, I tried CMD + R, CMD + OPT + R, CMD + OPT + R + P and now shift. Everything that's happened would be that clicks would cease to release the keys.

    I left the macbook on while I'm at work, when I got home it was on the screen to connect the external HARD drive.

    I accidentally closed the macbook yesterday and again once when I tried to log on, I could not and I left it on a white screen while I was sleeping. There is a possibility that he may have launched from the HARD drive when I get home, but if not, is there something that escapes me to force do this?

    See you soon

    Usually start up to a blank screen without the Apple Logo, may report one of the following:

    • Hardware failure
    • Boot drive is not recognized as valid and updated updated
    • OS X essential software is missing, hurt moved or renamed or corrupt
    • A firmware update is necessary

    No matter who, in order to boot from an external drive "bootable", you would normally hold down the Option key until you get a screen that offers a number of devices to try to boot from.

    Alternatively, you can try holding down the C key to try to boot from the external drive.

    If none of these startup options work, then the bootable disc or the USB port on your MacBook Pro can be the question.

    Since you have a Mac pre-2013, if you hold down the D key while booting, the built-in Apple Hardware Test should start up.  This can help to identify hardware problems.

  • 3rd generation ipod white screen

    I know it's old, but working well... so far.  White screen.  It is recognized by itunes when plugged into the computer.  Restored successfully on the itunes screen, always white.  Tried the fix with holding home and power button.  Tried to hold the House, volume and power.  Screen remains white.

    My question - is all hope gone and I must finally remove this ipod?  It's been great and it's a sudden death - hard to see it go.

    Thanks for any help...

    The 3rd gen iPod "classic" has a great sound.  If you tried to do a restore already, its likely to be a hardware problem, unfortunately.

    These older iPods are easier to repair because they are assembled from items separated and not so integrated and miniaturized.  My work 3rd generation iPod was reassembled broken iPods that I bought on eBay, by swapping pieces.  The screen is not the thing that is broken, most of the time.  If you are somewhat technically inclined, you can remedy.  You can post back for more information.

  • When white screen no display available

    I have a laptop. And I did left on so I can access it whenever I need a common practice. But I would also like to turn off the display of the cover and the only way to do is to close the lid, which is fine because I disabled the auto sleep function. The problem is that when access is the computer through the connection distance and open Firefox, all I see is a white screen. now, first of all, we think it's the remote tool. I already proved that this is the case. See Firefox on a remote connection, all I have to do is open the lid so that the view can reactivate or plug in an external display valid to see Firefox. A screenshot from the computer to the remote console also shows that Firefox is just a white screen. Any help on this is much appreciated.

    Using hardware acceleration means that Firefox uses the GPU instead of the CPU to perform certain operations and that you will not notice any effect on the performance of Firefox if hardware acceleration is disabled.

  • What is missing when I get a white screen empty when I try to access certain web sites?

    On some websites, I get a blank white screen when I try to access it.

    You can try the following steps in case of problems with web pages:

    You can reload webpages and ignore the cache to refresh potentially stale or corrupt.

    • Hold down the SHIFT key and click the Reload button
    • Press 'Ctrl + F5' or 'Ctrl + Shift + R' (Windows, Linux)
    • Press 'Command + shift + R' (Mac)

    Clear the cache and delete cookies only from Web sites that cause problems.

    "Clear the Cache":

    • Firefox/tools > Options > advanced > network > content caching Web: 'clear now '.

    'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems:

    • Firefox/tools > Options > privacy > "Use the custom settings for history" > Cookies: "show the Cookies".

    Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

    • Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe

  • MacBook pro white screen A1502

    I have macboook pro a1502. When I start the computer, I have white screen... And I expect in 5 minutes, the light of the LCD is on... But the screen remains white. I try to press the power button / stop + ctrl + opt + r + p no effect. I don't know how to try again. In my city no call center and I don't know where to fix my mac. I have in the West of Padang, sumatra Indonesia... Sorry my English so bad... Thank you

    Your Mac can do the simplest thing is to start with the down Option. This code here everything in ROM, and if you get the chime, your processor and a bit or RAM work as well.

    Startup option (also known as the name of the Boot Manager) draws a blank screen, then during several minutes, adds an icon for each potentially bootable Volume. If your drives are always answers and seem to be bootable, you should get two icons, one for Macintosh HD and one for recovery. If you have a heating engineer/DVD in the drive, which must also be indicated.
