Premiere Elements 4.0 burn question

Premiere Elements 4.0 with Windows XP (both preloaded on a computer Dell bought new in 2007).  I am able to create files *.prel without problem and I was able to burn projects up to the length of 5 hours on a DVD without problem until recently.   Beginning of October 2013 I often had trouble burning to DVD. Although I have burned successfully to projects ranging from 45 minutes to 4 and a half hours.  Current projects are about 3 hours.  I prefer to create two projects of 4.5 hours rather than three HR-3 project, but have not been able to get a successful burn more than three hours lately.  No 3D effects or shots, just the video clips of the same device, so all of these clips are the same format.  There are one or two video files from a camera phone, but this file format did not prevent a burn with success in other projects.  There are titles and transitions between clips.  I get the error 'media transcoding' or 'Elements has encountered a problem and needs to close. "  I tried to save in the folder and export to avi or mp3 file.  These workaround solutions have never been successful for me.  Is there a known fairly recent (i.e. to October 2013), Windows problem which interferes with Premiere Elements?  It was very difficult to debug these issues, since I always have to wait to start a new burn overnight and only know in the morning if she succeeded.

My thoughts are with you.

Looking forward to the results.

Have you looked for fragments of video in the timeline tracks content (with - + cursor used to extend the timeline)?

  • Some of the Menus Adobe Premiere element cause DVD burning failures?

Some of the Adobe Menus cause DVD burning failures?   What should have been a project of 10 minutes for a small 4 minute video took hours as burning DVDs stopped at 4% and then gave a message of "something has prevented completion in progress DVD burning".  I could finally solve it down for the Menu template, and when an audio clip looping has been added.  The Menu was built for an audio clip loop, but when I removed it the fine burned DVD.

Since my last post, I checked that my drivers are up to date.   Driver updates were made to the display card Intel HD 4600 Graphics and Chipset Intel 8 series/C220 family SATA AHCI Controller.

I created a new project and changed the flow of work to remove the check mark from selection to 'Add Menu markers automatically for me'.   When the menu has been selected and displayed, only the main Menu was to confirm that I didn't remove the Menu scenes.   At this point, I finished the remaining workflow and tried to burn on DVD using the stated parameters previously.   However, it had the same failed result.

I went then to the path of Premiere Elements menu bar: Edit > Preferences > General

The option "use hardware acceleration (works on Intel HD Graphics 2000 and higher)" has been selected.  I unchecked this option and clicked on the OK"" button.   I then tried to burn DVD with DVD NTSC_Widescreen_Dolby preset.

Success!   The DVD was burned and confirmed to work in older DVD player (AVCHD burning earlier disk did not work in older DVD player, but worked in a new Blu - Ray player).

It seems that the "use hardware acceleration" option preferred default was the problem in the prevention of burning DVDs.

  • Premiere Elements 8.0 very unstable for me

    Hello

I bought recently from Adobe Premiere Elements 8.0 (yesterday) and have had some problems with it. I scoured internet solutions but came the voids. Here's hoping that is going to help.

I was able to do a small project (45 second video) with the demo. When I buy the full version and start doing more (not much, just a minute and a half of video) he started giving me problems.

    1. I can't do anything once I have more than 80 seconds of video in the timeline with to get the message 'very low on system memory.

I deleted all the services I don't need

    cleared out the msconfig everything

played around with the size of swap file

tried to export the 80 seconds of video to an avi file to remove all clips

Remove the Vista to the point that it looks like xp

removed all media except what I needed for my video of the Organizer.

None of these help, I can get the out of memory message each time.

    2. in the attempt to debug this issue, elements would break frequently lose my evolution and give me a window of "report this error.

    3. each time a clip that I had added to the script several times before will give me a message "not supported of the codex", and I have to close the items and restart so that it can add.

    4. whenever I did a right click on the window that contains my support and select 'View details' program just closes.

Thanks, Corey, but you get to the core of the problem in your first post.

These "webbie" pocket cameras, like the Vado, the Webbie and the Flip, don't produce editable video. They are made of just shoot and charge on YouTube. If you can change it at all, it's with the software, if any, that comes with them.

The codecs are designed for compact storage and are often owners.

As for the Flip, the best solutiion is to convert these cams in DV - AVI video, before put you in Premiere Elements, by the fair questions to the right of this forum.

  • Unknown error 2130906112 when burning DVDs in Premiere Elements

Hi am trying to burn a DVD using Premiere Elements 3.0. My computer will go the long process of trying to burn the CD. In the end, the drive appears the DVD out and I get a message stating: unknown error 2130906112. I have burned successfully in the past, but can't now. I tried to do it on 7 times with this specific project and have had no success. I used two types of DVD + R (Memorex and Verbatim). My project is about 56 minutes. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated!

This seems to be the week for DVD burning problems...

My first recommendation would be to use PRE to 'Burn to Folder. " Normally, when you press the "Burn" button, PRE must in fact do 2 things: 1) encode your project in DVD format and then 2) burn these files on a real DVD. When we "burn to the folder', PRE will perform step 1 (encode your project to the DVD format), but instead of burning the DVD real media files, it will be just to save these files to the hard disk location that you specify.

There are several advantages to this, but our immediate advantage is that if you have any burning questions, you can restart just the burning step - you don't need to wait to do the coding.

So, step 1. Go, select the disc. In "Burn To", instead of "DVD", select 'File' (4.7 GB). Choose the folder location, and then click on burn. When FORWARD is finished, you can go to the location of the specified folder and see that it created a VIDEO_TS folder under the selected folder. VIDEO_TS that contains your encrypted DVD project.

Step 2 will actually be burning your DVD. If you have Nero, or something similar, you can use it. Otherwise, there is a free program called ImgBurn which works very well. The important thing at this stage is to choose the slow burning speed you can tolerate (I use usually 2 X or 4 X if I'm in a hurry). Use the Verbatim, not the Memorex media.

Try this and report on what happened.

If it does not burn, at least just to focus on step 2, which will have nothing to do with fixing FRONT.

  • Adobe Premiere Elements Collage Question

If this isn't the right place for this type of question please let me know.

My ultimate goal is to use Adobe Premiere Elements 8 (or 9) to create a collage of images that appear on the screen.

What I want to do is have an image on the screen for a second, then turn and reduce the size in the background, to have another image displayed on the screen and repeat the process until you have a pile of images scattered on the bottom.

The method that I came with several background images, the first with one image, the other with two photos, etc. with the changing as each image turns up.  The problem I encountered is that I can't seem to control the spin, or make the images become smaller as they do not rotate.

Someone has an idea how to get this effect?

You can certainly do this by keyframing effects of movement. Do you understand how to use keyframing?

It will become quite complicated, however. Each of your clips will have to be on a separate video track so, depending on how many images you want to display at this time, you could use a dozen or two video tracks!

But it is certainly possible - as long as you keep made your time line that you work and you have enough computing power to have so many images on the screen at once. (This sort of thing is much more easy in After Effects - but this program costs hundreds of dollars more).

So 8 or 12 images on the screen at the same time is certainly feasible. There is a lot of work, but doable. But create a major photomontage of 30 or 40 images in Premiere Elements is likely to drive you crazy!

  • Yet created DVDs of nervousness, a fine of Premiere Elements

    Hi all

It's driving me crazy and I tired to reduce it to the most basic question I:

I have a MPEG-2 video that was created by importing a VOB first elements and then write MPEG-2 using the present DVD-video (29.97 NTSC, bottom first, etc.). When I still import as an asset of this clip, I see that it recognizes as regularly, he coded because the properties for the clip show that no transcoding is required. However, when I build the DVD video plays very unstable on some screens, especially the older if it's a clue.

Here is the mystery - when I take this same clip and import in a first timeline elements and burning the disc directly from there he is superb on all screens.

My understanding is that import the VOB by saving them as MPEG-2, I have clips from DVD loan which have not been converted and need not be. Why on Earth first elements seem to honor it and give me video without flicker, but still does not work? BTW, I would stick with elements except that I need custom menus.

    Advice would be much appreciated.

    Thank you

    Mike

Still retranscode if you have legal assets of the mpeg-2 DVD as Premiere Elements is retranscode them. I think that there may be a problem with the assets of mpeg-2 that attaches all building (transcoding) a DV in Premiere Elements. Just select one different preset that auto and ask again to transcode your files and compare the results.

  • Premiere Elements: I'm doing a montage which is the size of the postcard.  I found how to import pictures, but not how to make a collage.

Aargh.  I don't know even what are my questions.  I bought the Premiere Elements: check.  I downloaded my purchase: check.  I'm CONFUSED now.  I am trying to achieve a montage which is the size of the postcard.  I found how to import pictures, but not how to make a collage.  I read the instructions to "seek" how to make a collage.  I am more than 50 years, maybe that's my problem.  Please help me to achieve this simple montage.

Premiere Elements is a video editor. You try to make something of a video collage of your photos?

If you try to make a photo montage in Premiere Elements, you use the wrong tool for the job.

If you try to make a photo montage, there is a number of tools to do this in Photoshop Elements and the elements Organizer. Actually, the organizer has a tools especially designed to create collages of photos on the tab create. Have you tried to use this tool?

BTW, I said goodbye to 50 a long, long time ago, pamela. It is really not difficult once you know what you want to do and where are the tools. You will want to perhaps by the book "Muvipix.com Guide Photoshop elements & first Elements 14", available on Amazon, which shows you step by step how to use all the tools in the programs as well as the Organizer.

  • Open a project (first instance) of Premiere Elements in first Pro CC (full)

A Department in my company has recently started producing promotional videos, as they initially had no video editing software they tested several programs before finally settling for first Pro CC.

The question I have is that in the meantime the Department created a few projects in the Premiere Elements Trial Version and when they tried to open these projects in CC Pro Pr sections are missing (the transitions and overlays of text).

I read that the draft elements must be compatible with the CC Pro.

When I open the project I get the following message if poster before the project opens:

    ********************************
    \\?\C:\Users\username\Desktop\Gill HCY Clip 2-5 Copy.prel

Lack of video filter: AE. ADBE AEAutoSmartTone

Lack of video filter: AE. ADBE temperature & tint

Lack of video filter: AE. ADBE Vibrance

Can someone advise what to do to get the project in its entirety?

    Thank you.

Buy a copy of the first Elements and finish the project in the software in which it was started... then do AGAIN all the work in a program

  • Adobe Premiere Elements 12.1 - how to change the speed of a row of photos on the timeline?

(Adobe Premiere elements 12.1). I think I went through all the possible explanations using Adobe-videos, www and You Tube. etc., but I'm still too stupid, having not yet seized the response.  I am new to this, and it does everything just for me. If I manually drag the vertical red line along the timeline, then individual pictures presents during the masterscreen above, but they have almost disappeared in arriving at the other. If I press play instead, the red line is progressing fairly well, but still the same speed on the timeline, but I need an explanation to slow down or speed up the clouds-photos that I brought to the timeline. Y at - there someone here who can / will cut out in 5 mm plates of steel for me?  PS. This isn't a normal video, it's 190 photographs of clouds taken with my interval-o-meter, just to know 'how' in Premiere Elements

    faerk

BTW. I was arrested on my previous effort to get an answer (in Danish): you are not allowed to question here - or something like!  Why?

The best way is to your slide show in a video output then re-import this video in your project and use Time Stretch to slow down or speed up playback.

How you do that depends on how you plan to use this slide show. It will be released on a DVD or BluRay disc? Uploaded to YouTube or Vimeo?

  • Why my wifes computer now has CC on it?  She has that Premiere Elements and Photoshop Elements.  We do not have the CCS.

    Two questions:

    (1) computer my wife now has CC on it?  She has that Premiere Elements and Photoshop Elements.  Both independent purchased programs.  Received on his computer through an update to one of these programs?

    (2) I have CC photography.  I also have Acrobat X.  In my CC interface he keeps trying to make me the Acrobat DC UPDATE, I did not.  I removed it and it deleted my Acrobat X.  I reinstalled.  It's something to try to get me to buy CDS?

Can someone help me: I just bought the version 14 Adobe first element in replacement of version 7. Unfortunately, version 14 can't seem to purchase from my Sony DCR-TRV120E-PAL camera while version 7 acquired, without any problem. The Win 7 recognizes also the camera system. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!

First elements 13/13.1 and 14 have more firewire DV HDV Capture in the first Capture window elements function. The latest version which has this feature is first elements 12/12.1. Please refer to the document Adobe that describes the situation and offers workarounds.

    https://helpx.Adobe.com/premiere-elements/KB/removed-features-formats-elements.html

The document applied to 13/13.1 and 14.

You can capture in another applications and then import the captures in a project of first 14 elements with add Media/files and folders. Examples

I just wanted to check on what you wrote about what makes video dealing with nature and inserts and looking for background music.

Question: When you do these films make you them in some version of Premiere Elements and eager to add the contents of Premiere Elements (that comes with the program) in this Premiere Elements project?

Or, you work in another software and want to import music files from Premiere Elements (from your hard drive) in another software project?

  • "Adobe Premiere Elements 13.

Hello, I have a question. When I use the serial number for the first time, in the future if I reinstall Adobe Premiere elements 13, I can reuse the same serial number or should I buy another? Thank you. (Sorry for my English) XD

    lucianog

If you have already downloaded the tryout of first 13 items, you can go to the Adobe online store and buy a serial number for 13 Windows. After that you are given the number of series, you open the first of 13 elements tryout on your computer and then select buy (license of this product) in the tryout dialog box that says buy (license of this product) or continue Tryout. During the Buy (license for this product), it's when you insert the serial number when you are prompted to do this.

If at any time you need to download additional files for the installation, don't forget to make sure that you download the installation for Windows 64-bit files.

For now that Adobe launches new version of first items 14, 14 becomes the only trial that is offered. Before that, 13 is the only test that is offered. The test project file will be the watermark of Adobe. You can get rid of it after the purchase. But you can't get rid of the tattoo of the export of the project test Adobe file. More on that later.

Adobe should release the new version in the next few days or weeks (coming soon).

Please let us know if you're OK with the above.

    Thank you.
