  Hey, I'm getting a computer, but my budget is low (computer subscription and only 'cheap' cc), and my main option is:

  -i5 4460

  -NVIDIA GTX 750 ti (seems sufficient)

  -8 GB of ram (16 in the future)

  I want to know if I can run After Effects and other programs of the suite CC with decent fluidity with a processor Intel Core i5 4460 or I need to upgrade to i5 4690 (not i7), render times are not important in my case, the use of After Effects will be 720 / 1080 p, no use 'very professional '.

• My (not so great) experience with Premiere Pro & after effects CC 2015 after barely a day of use.

  Right off the bat, let me say that I wish that I had not being updated until 2015 CC this morning. I blame the hype and all the exciting videos, showing off the new features to deceive me in...

  After waiting more than an hour to install everything on my Mac at work, I fell quickly on the first question when continuing on a CC 2014 project in Premiere Pro. The project has had some 4K footage with clips made in them, who I pre-rendered for an obvious reason: smooth playback. Who had worked perfectly fine in CC 2014. But in 2015, CC, it didn't yet... at all. Reposting clips did not cause to run any tool path smoothing, nor did lower the playback quality, even at 1/16 of the resolution (while in 2014 CC that would be more than enough to cause a perfect playback).

  For the same project I also need to do some work in some After Effects comps. So I opened my project and immediately, I noticed that my keyboard pressings were not record 9 of 10 times. I don't think I have to explain why this is especially annoying (and why I went to pounding my keyboard with my fists...).

  As if this was not frustrating enough, mounting Panel started to act up and remained permanently in the foreground, whenever I started a RAM Preview (I use a Setup dual monitor and my editing panel occupies essentially the right monitor). There is no way to make any application to the foreground while RAM previewing, so I ended up having to drag my editing about Panel out of the screen.

  Also, is there a way to stop the new RAM made preview? I don't know it is because of the issue of keyboard or that there simply cannot stop, since the SPACEBAR and '0' on the numeric keypad does not a billion times another thing that frustrate me even more.

  To top it off, I had to also motion-track one, and you have probably guessed Cela has also worked like a charm! * Cough *. Follow-up went well, but as soon as I tried to stop the analysis and you press the stop button, After Effects simply crashed.

  So yes, it was about my day at work. How was yours?

  Allright,-all right, I'll get to the point; Where and how do I go back to CC 2014?

  I'm done trying to force on my eyeballs to the frustration, I'll give CC 2015 another chance when these problems are solved.

  I've been looking around on the Forum and just found an easier way to do this via the updater of creative cloud itself:

  The good thing is that I can now run the 2014 and 2015 versions without uninstalling one or the other.

  As for the issue of the first reading, I discovered that changing the rendering option in the project settings of the "GPU accelerated" for "software only" caused much less frame drops. This means that I can actually work with the 2015 first CC version! I'll stick however for now to the CC 2014 After effects version.

• After Effects (and more) crashing on save directory

  Since last week, I'm having the problem that when I save a project, almost all applications creative Cloud crashes at saving.

  This happens when I select the folder and the name for the project.

  After a long period spent on the research and tests, I seem to have found a solution that solves the crash (at least for me), and at least for now "Save as." Apparently, this is a permissions-related problem.

  Here's what I did:

  1 - search in the following folder:

  (Windows) \AppData\Roaming \Users\ [username] [drive]

  2 uncheck "read only" in the context menu of the folder 'Adobe '.

  3 - inside "Adobe" folder deleted the folder of "After Effects" (very important).

  4 - restart AE and ' Save as ', after a publishing project does not cause an accident

  I found that Adobe may crash on several occasions due to permissions issues and applications, and I would ask the same question:

  When is Adobe going to solve the problem of permissions with the Preferences folder?

  I use a new view 4K and I put across the user interface in Windows 7 to 150%, and all my other programs scaled very well. When I use my adobe programs the user interface is very low in the resolution of 4K, I have been able to scale Photoshop CC 2014 but am having problems scaling of other programs like AE, Pr and have etc. I need help with this because all these programs are unusable at this size, tools, numbers, etc. values are very small and hard to see. If anyone is having the same problem or has a solution please help, thank you!

  It is a known problem.

  We are doing the necessary work to make After Effects work well on Windows HiDPI monitors.

  What number of exact version of AE are you using? If you use a Mac and your AE version is 13.7.1, you need to update to 13.7.2.

  Solved with a script within After Effects that allowed me to edit host beach related to text layers that are not visible in the model, but can be changed in the first. If anyone is interested, I'll be happy to help you.

• Premiere Pro, After Effects CS5 and the shared memory pool

  This feature works fine in Win 7 x 64. I think adding more RAM and going up to 12 GB. However, I noticed that CS5 sharing memory pool is limited to 75% of the physical RAM installed. Even if that makes sense, if you have a computer with the minimum requirements of 4 GB (because Windows itself will use a little less 1 GB + /), it makes less sense to 12 GB, where 9 GB is all you can use for the pool of CS5.

  Is this the way it works, or is it possible that I can be 'greedy' and go the number of 75% for larger amounts of physical RAM? It helps to have as physical RAM as much as possible for AE previews high resolution, etc..

  Yes, you can import a Premiere Pro into After Effects project.

  Under the hood, it works in the same way as if you were to copy and paste objects in Premiere Pro, After Effects, so the limitations are the same as for copy and paste. After that Effects and Premiere Pro have not all the same features, if certain aspects of your Premiere Pro project will be ignored or converted. There are tables that describe what gets ignored and converted in the section "copy between After Effects and Premiere Pro" using After Effects.

  Yes. On Win7 Pro 64. I don't know about the versions of the House, but I guess that's the same thing.

So the thing is I'm working with a Windows 10 operating system and I have tried several times to download Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro, but it doesn't always let me. Premiere Pro appears as "up-to-date" but with no button to open - it is not on the programs on my computer! And with After Effects, it seems just constantly with the ' we have a problem, please come back later "without giving any code error or something like that. I already tried to uninstall and reinstall all my creative cloud Adobe programs and even the creative application of the Cloud itself.   After Effects and Premiere Pro are available only for 64-bit machines.

• Advice needed - graphics card for After Effects and Premiere Pro

  Hi all

  I did research of PC in the hope of making an investment in the most powerful PC, I can afford without breaking, and I need some advice.  According to my research online, it would seem that the best configuration for video editing would include an Intel i7 processor and an nVidia GeForce GTX 590 graphics card.

  The problem is that each computer I see who has this combo is significantly more expensive than other computers that have an Intel i7 and GeForce GTX 570.  The best bang for my money, I found was HP - he had an Intel i7 processor but only use a GeForce GTX 550 graphics card.

  You all have my question is this: how much difference do these graphics cards in terms of actual speed and reduce the working time & time in After Effects and first Pro CS5/CS5.5 rendering?  Is - what value the extra $300 - $400 to get the GTX 590?  Or who would only drop a tiny minutes rendering time / performance of the software?  In addition, could get away with high speeds and times of rendering with a GTX 550?

  To give you an idea of what I use this software for: I'm working on wedding HD DSLR video, sometimes with several layers of courses on the effects and transitions; I'll work on videos ranging from a few minutes in length of more than 45 minutes in length.

  Beware of HP systems. In general, they are unperpowered from a perspective of power supply, they use custom PSU which can not be exchanged for something else that HP, they use custom for the power supply dimensions, so it is impossible to replace one yourself and they are anything but attractive from a perspective of RE-ENGINEERING. They are very hard to overclock or not at all and are nothing more than mediocre artists or performers.

  Specifications you gave shows that he is a misconfigured system. An i7-2600 system should have 8 or 16 GB of memory, not 12 GB. It must use the 4 DIMM connectors, not 3. The power supply is low in power for this video card. Primary drive is too much for OS & programs and a complete waste of space. On a well-tuned system 150 GB is more than enough. 2 TB is not appropriate. You miss the 3rd and 4th hard drive, you will really enjoy for the performance.

  In short, these specs look like a waste of money.
