Presario cq60 notebook

Someone please help... After having powered the computer, it goes to the personal password page to open the computer. When we enter the password, it says "user profile service does not log. User profile cannot be loaded.  I tried to shut down, restart, cntr alt delete and nothing will prevent this page coming soon. Is this something I can do to solve this problem without using my restore disk. I lost a lot of files.

Hello

You can try the following.

Shut down the laptop.  Tap away at f8 that you start the laptop to enter the Windows Recovery Console.  Use the arrow keys to select Safe mode and press ENTER.  If windows will load in this mode, on the Start Menu, click principally made programs, click Accessories, click System Tools and run the system restore.  Choose a restore point at least 24 hours prior to the issue of logon and then proceed to the restoration.  When you are finished, Windows will restart as normal in order to check if you can now connect correctly.

Another option if the above does not help is as follows.

Shut down the laptop.  Tap away at f8 that you start the laptop to enter the Windows Recovery Console.  Use the arrow keys to select "Start using last good known Configuration" and press ENTER.

Kind regards

    Original title: product key

I'm having the worst luck! I spent the last 3 weeks trying to find my lost product key. I recently bought a Compact Hp Presario Cq60 Notebook suddenly pawn and they had scratched off the coast product key. So I went through all the commands and programs, I could find to try to get it back. Finally I found this program called Softkey Revealer. At last I had found my product key, but as chance would have a message pops up saying that the key has been disabled by Microsoft. SO! Long story short, I was wondering if you guys knew of someone I could contact to find out why this is? If there is anyway that I can reverse this trend? If there is in any case or anything, I can do in my power to not have to buy a new product key? Help, please!

When you buy a used machine, then the only safe is to perform a destructive factory restore, using the hidden disk partition. This will get rid of all malicious software, viruses, hacking, programs and other bad things that the previous owner might have left behind. This will also solve your problem of product key - because you will not have a product key!

On many HP computers, you start the process by pressing F11 at startup. Perhaps the same applies to the Compaq machines.

Hi realpommy. If you encounter problems with HDMI output and let Windows determine the pilots, who could be part of the issue.  First of all try to install these Windows 7 drivers provided by HP for your laptop: NVIDIA nForce Chipset MCP77MV graphics drivers

After installation and reboot, if you still have problems with video output look in Device Manager, to ensure that there is no error, or "unknown devices".  The section "Understanding of the symbols of error Device Manager" in this document:
Information from the Device Manager in Windows 7 to illustrate some possible errors.

If there is no error in Device Manager, do through these documents for more information and the last for troubleshooting ideas:

    Hello

This is my first post so I think I erased my point of view, which may not be 100% good.

and I would like to upgrade of his memory, I know that it can take up to 4 GB, but I'm not sure of the maximum speed of memory the motherboard can take and use fully without being too high speed. (for example, I won't buy a 1333 MHz Rams beacause I know that it is more than enough and that it is a waste of money)

I am confused between buying a 667 MHz or a 800 MHz. So, could someone give me a hand here please

My daughter has a CQ60 notebook that was working fine this morning, but this afternoon the Q W E R U I O and P keys have stopped responding. I could check, all other keys are not affected. Any suggestion would be gratly appreciated.

Before I / we assume that the keyboard is bad you need to reinstall the driver, that seems to never work, but we should give it a shot anyway. Go to the control panel and find the Device Manager. Click on that and find "Keyboard" in the list, click the small arrow to decompress. Right-click on the keyboard and choose to uninstall the driver, ignore the warning and continue. You will be prompted to restart the computer and start it will automatically reinstall the driver.

Here is your service manual and a few videos in the media library of the HP Services.

http://h10032.www1.HP.com/CTG/manual/c02985882.PDF  Look on page 4-18 and a bit beyond. Be very careful when you remove the cable from the ZIF connector on the motherboard, if you break that he condemns the whole motherboard.

http://h20574.www2.HP.com/default.htm?lang=en&cc=us&hpappid=psml  If you have difficulties to navigation in your model and videos, post again and I'll give you some instructions. Give the page time video too load. Yours is very easy to remove, there are 3 screws marked with a symbol inside the battery bay keyboard that hold it in place and it throws just to go to the nearest rear of the screen.

Once, you get to the video page, navigate to the keyboard in the left column.

Note that it does not list the CQ60-200 series, but the 100 series is the same.

You can also order the keyboard of HP once, you know the part number, it will be at the back of the keyboard ending with

-001.  You will pay bonus for it through HP and you will not be able to order the parts anyway, I discovered that it is only available in the United States, it is perhaps different in the United Kingdom.

Your laptop is probably the Atheros AR5007 wireless network adapter.

If so (you can check by going to the Device Manager, expand network adapters device category to see the name and number of the model wireless network card), this driver installation normally solves this problem...
