Presentation Podcast on the iTunes store.

I am having some problems with the presentation of my podcast episodes.

Lets say hypothetically I want to release a new podcast episode on Tuesday and Thursday of each week. When should I submit the RSS feed URL for EACH episode to iTunes, to ensure that each episode will be published in due course. Im trying to figure out how many days in advance, I need to submit the RSS URL to apple for the episodes to release from time to time.

There is no hard and fast rule about this. Usually, it takes 1 to 2 days for one episode to appear in the store, although the subscribers they will see as soon as their iTunes application checks the flow. You can not really do something the delay taken in the store, which caches the stream and check the new items in a kind of spin. Either incidentally, should actually send the stream to the store when you add a new episode, just add and re - publish workflow.

    I checked the power supply in Podcasts connect and validated it and says "ready for submission. It validates in CastFeedValidator;

    However when you subscribe to iTunes the main episodes in animal feed, E000 (i.e. only Apple controls) downloaded only to half way and then stopped - although on the subscription again, it worked OK. These strange kinds of glitches happen sometimes, and maybe that's what caused the problem. I should try to submit it again and see what happens. (You do not have to have three episodes in the power - one is enough).

    If you choose a new workflow, you must:

    redirect subscribers to your new workflow

    notify the iTunes Store, you have a new stream.

    The two steps above are complemented by a redirect:

    Set up a 301 redirect on your server for your old power supply.

    Add the itunes: new-feed-url tag to your old feed. Example: http://example.com/new-rss-feed.xml

    Know how to do that in the section "Change your RSS Podcast Feed URL" here: http://www.apple.com/itunes/podcasts/specs.html

    It seems that this has happened:

    First RSS feed-> Submitted to iTunes > user subscribed--> user gets new episodes

    Second RSS feed-->? iTunes has been notified? --> iTunes doesn't new episodes.

    Second RSS feed--> users get new episodes

    I recommend the deletion of your podcasts in the box my Podcasts in iTunes Desktop (to avoid confusion).

    Then, search the iTunes Store for the podcast put you to the test and you subscribe.

    In my Podcasts, click on the podcast > copy the link.

    So, starting from the new year, the last two podcasts that I posted stopped appearing in the iTunes on my phone (iPhone) app. It appears in the iTunes store and the content is everything that he in the RSS feed, but I'm not sure why it does not appear in the application.     All episodes, including today, appear in the iTunes Store in iTunes, but not in the web version. Subscribing does not produce any episodes at all.

    It's because you've introduced an error in your stream rendered illegible. There are three spaces at the beginning of your stream, before the first text:

    You are not allowed anything before this text, to delete the spaces.

    I manage the podcast of our Church, and I'm having a problem with some missing episodes. I checked my stream for errors, but I have not found any, and episodes are missing through the iTunes store (they appear if you look at just the stream itself, or if you pull up the stream to help another customer podcast). But many of our users go through iTunes, so I understand what the problem is.

    So far, I noticed two missing episodes in recent months. They are both of the same itunes:author (we have several authors on our flow), which is the only resemblance, I noticed. But there are correctly shown episodes of this author. Other than that, I don't know what is happening. The episodes in question are the most recent episode of this past Sunday, June 5, 2016. And the other is from March 20, 2016.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    You have probably fallen on an intermittent bug in the store where some episodes do not appear, even if all episodes appear when you subscribe. Go to the Podcasts Connect, log in, choose your podcast and click 'Refresh Feed'. Give it time - the store can take a day or two to update. If that does not work, contact support and ask for a re-indexing: who can solve it. Go to https://itunespartner.apple.com/en/podcasts/overview and click on the link "Contact us" at the bottom of the page.

    What exactly is the problem? You are also being invited to review the account and enter payment details? If you did you are your details accepted - if they are, you should be able to remove them then.

My complete music in iTunes library is available and visible, but when I try to play the music of the song or artist I have the following message: "You must allow this computer from the Store menu until you can download previous purchases."  I allowed off my old Mac Mini and an even more ancient PC of my iTunes account page.  Please notify.

  • freezing of the iTunes Store

    iTunes seems to operate normally for me except when I am in the iTunes Store and the scroll of the selections from the album.  I have more scrolling, becomes slow scrolling until it stops completely and the program crashes. Anyone else having this problem? I have iTunes 12.4.1.6, 10, 1511 version Windows, i7 processor 2.4 GHz, 16.0 GB of RAM.

    I have itunes 12.4.  When I try to add a new song to icloud music library I see the following message: "Genius results cannot be updated because the iTunes store does not recognize your iTunes library."  He then ordered me to turn off Genius, and then turn it back on.  There is no option.  Othe impossible of access devices correspond to these songs via itunes.  Any help would be appreciated.

    Since you are being invited to turn off Genius, you can add music, please use the following information to resolve these two issues:

    Turn on or off the Genius

    If iCloud music library is enabled, you cannot disable Genius.

    Choose file > library > Genius (toggle Genius).

    Turning off the Genius Genius Genius Shuffle shuts and and the Genius Mix.

  • Is - this Apple still sell protected AAC files from the iTunes Store?

    I'm just curious, if he has always protected songs sold. The last batch of songs I accidentally bought as protected songs is 2012. I was able to convert most of the songs protected with iTunes more in 2009, but sometimes new purchases will still be protected. Has anyone downloaded songs protected from the iTunes Store most recently?

    I was under the impression completely stopped selling protected songs long time Apple (2009: http://www.wired.com/2014/03/kill-itunes-drm/).  Download again the old Media DRM might still have DRM. It is also possible that regular media can be marked as DRM if it gets corrupted in transfer.

    I don't really have any Apple media buys myself well. :-)

  • Why the downloaded songs instead of match when I can find them in the itunes store

    Having just signed up iTunes Match half of my songs are displayed as downloaded instead of correspondence? Here are the songs of great artists that I have no problem to find in the iTunes store. I kept my well-organized music with regard to album etc names, so there should be no problem for these songs. Is there a reason for this, or better yet is there a way to re-scan the songs? If you'd be grateful if someone could help.

    You should get better results than that. From my experience, about 85 percent of current music main gets matched. A much lower percentage could mean that the quality of the originals is not very good, which often happens with material vinyl source. The tracks that don't fit get whatever it is have in common?

  • Can not download the purchased album and does not appear in the items purchased (but shows purchased when it searches for in the iTunes Store)

    I bought it has an album coming out a few songs at the beginning, so I downloaded them.  Later when the full album became available I could not download the rest of the album.  I use my AppleID on my computer at work, and I think I might have downloaded over there (he is allowed to account), however I would like to download on my computer at home where my complete library.  I went in the purchase section of the iTunes store and looked for items "not in my library", but it does not appear.

    When I look up in the iTunes Store, it shows the album is purchased, but the download button is grayed out and won't let me download it (see screen below cap).

    I deleted earlier the three songs I had to see if that can help somehow magically, be able to download the album, but now all that is gone and I can not re - download it.
