  I know it sucks.

  On iOS, the only way to have a sound be played while the application is reduced to a minimum, is if the application is actually running in the background (obviously).  To do this in the application manifest, you must set UIBackgroundModes = audio, as follows:

  However, since "batterygate" on iPhone4, Apple has been tightening its policy on applications that unnecessarily run in the background.  If the sound is supposed to play continuously (ex: music player), then they will * probably * be ok with it.  But if the sound is intermittent (even if it's the sound a clock radio alarm), they will likely ban.

  So, if you want your application to play intermittent sounds while in the background, your only chance is to configure notifications and associate a sound for notifications if you can.

  Apple will probably not bring the 'slide to unlock' feature back since it has been deleted just today. You don't need to have an iPad with Touch ID to unlock but. Pressing the Home button will do exactly the same thing that slide to unlock did, just without swiping.

The good news is that these steps will be useful for your problem of not being able to press the Home button to complete the update iOS 10. When you are prompted by the installation wizard to press the Home button, restart the iPhone by pressing and holding the sleep/wake button, slide to turn off and then turn the unit on. When the device restarts, you should be able to complete the Setup Wizard without having to press the home button.

  Hi, I've updated to lollipop & new update built & everything works fine... Love the new update to date... Battery drains much faster however. I wanted to ask if anyone knows is it possible to change the shortcut now google to long press "home" button? Can we put something else to this shortcut?

  I have the same problem.  A ran the same traps you.  2 factor auth active.  Sign in and out icloud.  No luck.  Can activate ipad like home but 4th gen apple tv hub will not simply act as the hub.  Under settings, accounts, icloud... no homekit option available.

  You need to activate in iTunes on your computer and IOS in the application settings under music and video settings activate the function home sharing.

  Using iOS 9.1. Works great on iPhone Home sharing 5s and 6s. Now, suddenly, I can not connect to home sharing on iPad Air2. Says "unable to connect to the share of the House. I rebooted, signed out and back in home sharing in settings/music, reset network on iPad and rebooted the modem/router. I'm sure that I'm on the same network and the rest of the iPad seems fine.

  Called Apple and they seemed puzzled. Backup only I have is since this morning, after the problem started. I have a Time Machine backup, but no idea where to look for old backup iPad.

  Anyone?

  Problem solved by me. All I had to do was restart iTunes and everything works. Simple!

  Hi, I unlocked my iPhone 5 c (Verizon, no contract). I don't have a sims that is not Verizon.  When I connected my iPhone to iTunes, I had no "congratulations, your iPhone has been unlocked. I don't know how else to check if my iPhone is unlocked and if it is really unlocked.

  I had a similar experience when I unlocked the phone to my husband and myself, although not on Verizon. Simply, I called my ISP and asked them to check, which they made and confirmed that the phones have been unlocked.
