  I understand that you use a HP Officejet Pro 8600 Premium e-all-in-one with a computer and Windows 7 when you copy from sometimes flat it will only copy and print 1/8 of the page. I would like to help.

  You mentioned having unplugged and replugged the power cord. This is something that could be done. If you can, I reset the power and try to connect the printer directly to a wall outlet, if you currently use a protector or electrical surge extention. Sometimes the surge protectors can limit the amout of the power supplied to the printer.

  

  There was an update firmware released in April, which can help your printer. You can download the update of the firmware and run it from your computer to install it on the printer. You can go to the HP Officejet Pro 8600 N911g_n Firmware download page by clicking here.

  All in one, type printers (print, copy, scan) usually have a very specific set of instructions during the installation.  If not followed exactly the probability is that the scanner will not work.

  If you ask about Windows Explorer, then press the ALT key and you will see the menu with these options bar.

  You can have the remain in view by selecting organize/layout, and then select menu bar.

  Click on Hp.com-> Support-> software/drivers.  Instead of looking for the T2500, enter T2530.  They released the 930,1530 and 2530 end of last year.

  When you go to download drivers or fw, you will see are the 920,1500 and grouped with the 930,1530 and 2530 2500 lists. FW and driver are compatible on all model printers in this series.

  I have installed ThinApps and store these on a fileshare and create shortcuts to the start menu for these applications. How can I prevent users from copying these ThinApp applications on a USB key running at home?

  Are there settings to ensure THinApps to be run only on some machines/domains IP addresses etc?

  I must say that unpacking and rebuild the package are not big problem.

  If the virtualized program has some dialog windows then no problem, even if the user doesn't have access to the file of the package.

  For example, your scripts can be foung by vindow dialog application virtualized in C:\Program Files\ThinstallPlugins\.

  So, I think, ThinApp can be used only as a manufacturer of portable.

  The form has 4 pages.  I want only the user to see and know about page 1.

  a. There are fields that are changed dyamically based on the selection of the user (ie. selection of fonts), so that the xml import does not work for this

  You could try a hidden field that seeks the username «»

  There are security problems, and the script has to be in a position of trust. You can make this place a Javascript file inside the Acrobat folder. The penalty usually with trusted fuctions is that you must send to each user a copy of the js file and it should also put it in the appropriate folder.

  In your case is not a problem, because you only want the js file on your computer and do not need to distribute it to others.

  When you put the (downloaded) file in Acrobat / folder Javascript, Acrobat will load it automatically.

  

  In Acrobat, make sure that you have defined a 'name' in Edition / Preferences / Identity tab:

  

  When you open the PDF document, your user name will be on the field. This only happens if the js file is loaded in the correct folder on the computer that you are using.

  

  Once it's working, it's a simple step to include an if statement in the textfield, after the script located in the initialize event:

  This means that the visibility of the three pages would be automatic. User with the js file AND your username could see pages 2-4, everyone would not see these pages.

  Try to run delete print jobs to remove all print jobs stuck in the queue.

  Don't forget to restart your computer.

  Using Windows 7, new pc from ASUS, bad left speaker. HP C4385 printer installed, worked well. PC got problem, everything installs again pc from ASUS (2nd) using the restore? House of Seagate 2 TB Network hard drive. Printer was showing on the first pc network. Had to reinstall the printer on 2nd pc. When the installation program tells me to plug in the USB cable to the printer on the pc, I do and HP Installer appears to start. Windows seems to decide to install the Windows driver for the pc. Can be no conflict between the driver of priter HP and Windows. Whenever I try to print it does nothing until I go to the resolution of the problems. It is running, it prints, and I get the message "a print job in the print queue prevents other printing of print." How can I fix it permanently?
  I tried some changes in the way that the printer works, off waiting, went to direct printing, no luck. A person supposed to disable the bidirectional communication. Not to do so. Have uninstalled and reinstalled the HP software twice. No improvement. Also tried other things. Help, please!

  Not sure about the HP printers. A couple of things to try.

  Run delete print jobs to eliminate any print jobs stuck in the queue.

  Unplug the printer.

  Uninstall the printer.

  Restart your computer. Make sure that the printer is deleted. Driver Manual printer removal

  Install the printer. You should get a message, the printer is not connected. Connect the printer at this time under tension)

  Firewalls and anti-virus programs will block communications.

  Press the Windows key and the R key at the same time. Type

  services.msc

  Press ENTER. Find print spooler and make sure it is set to automatic. Restart the service. It can also be anything else than that associated with your HP printer. Make sure it is in automatic mode and restart the service.

  I'm basically in packaging and I use different printers from time to time depending on the condition, some for the first time. My design files consists of many illustrations and images in high resolution. Normally, I send the illustrator with all the elements in her file. It is any other format I should use instead of preventing the misuse of the design or to be at least on a safer side and at the same time be compatible prepress. Can anyone suggest me a way to deal with this.

  You can make a .pdf file and disable security to allow printing only.  You'd printers job harder than some of them correct errors on the files, or do a manual setup, so wouldn't recommend not the path .pdf. It is a free utility to Russia you can download which will remove safety pdf so if someone really wants to extract parts o your file they can.

  Most printers have no time or interest using your illustrations for their own work. If you are a good customer and above all they would ever do this especially if they are a printer USA or Western Europe. Now outside of the USA is different (especially Mexico & Asia). Our team came back from the India and they saw the logo of the dove on the local products not made by Unilever and many other trademark of violations.

  I would put a slug on each of your jobs, saying the work is confidential and any use not authorized or reorientation is prosecuted.  You can attach to your work/colorswatch slug.

  

  Also the draft contract and request a copy at each sign of the printer.

  Although there should be a preference for this (or just the one for the editor of code of honor), I see 2 possibilities:
  -Print via the file menu (which unaccountably did a different job)
  -Copy/paste/print the results in your favorite text editor

  I hope you're well and welcome to the community of HP

  I read on how you had removed the icon of the printer Deskjet Ink Advantage 4615 of devices and printers and since then have tried to reinstall the printer, which does not have the icon back to the printers and devices section, leaving you to not be able to select the 4615 as default printer.

  Here are my suggestions, starting with:

  1. run the print and scan the doctor. This diagnostic tool will check for all conflicts that may be causing the problem. The tool will show you a report at the end. If there is a problem that the tool could not fix, you will notice it in the results. Let me know what the results detected please. (Select difficulty printing when you run the PSDr)

  2. run the HP printer install Windows Wizard to find and install the driver "Full Feature" printers and software and go through the installation to see if there are errors or if the installation fails at any point.

  Check the devices and printers again to see if the printer icon appears. Also try to restart the PC to see if that helps.
