  Thanks for your suggestions. I had another conversation on the forum of intel who gave advice that helped me solve the problem. I write most of this and my answer in the hope of sparks of ideas and help others to a similar question.

  I've updated WT8 my wife a week with no problems at all.

  Take note, however, it takes a LOT of time. Set aside the best part of the day.

  I upgraded to Win10 on day 1 and thought that everything was ok. Then I closed my computer and made after the drive hard light off, the power lights could not do the same thing. I had to make a "force stop" making them to extinguish. Windows don't think I did a force stop. I'm not sure what is the cause, but I would be really nice to fix. "Sleep" mode is also affected by this. "Sleep" mode is more annoying to get out of because it requires a judgment of strength to wake the computer. Windows recognizes it as such. I've updated my integrated and discrete graphics card drivers and it made this bug seems less random. (when I discovered the volume button thing).   1. Download version 9 or 10 of the Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) driver.
  • Navigate to HP Software and Driver Downloads site (http://www8.hp.com/us/en/drivers.html) to find the last pilot approved for your model.  Filtrer filter by version, select Microsoft Windows 8.1 on the menu drop-down.  Find the download in the category 'Driver-Chipset'  If a pilot of MEI with a version from 9 or 10 number is listed, download.  [9.5.24.1790 version 1.5 M (http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp66001-66500/sp66228.exe) works for most models.]

  3. Change the Windows Update Services automatic (delayed start) parameter to the manual.
  • In Control Panel, select administrative tools, and open Services.
  • Go to Windows Update and double-click it to view its properties.
  • Click on stop to stop the service to run.
  • Change the Startup Type to manual, and then click OK.
  4. Install version 9 or 10 of the Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) driver.  If you receive a warning dialog box about the replacement of a newer version of the software, accept it.
  • NOTE: You have NO need to uninstall version 11 before installing version 9 or 10.  The presence of a version of the driver is required to 'upgrade' (or demote in this case).
  5. Run the Windows 10 Troubleshooting Package 'Show or hide updates' and hide the updates of the Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) driver.  (This will block your system automatically reinstall or display of updates for version 11 of the pilot).

  I have recently upgraded to Windows 10 and PS works now really poor. So poor, in fact, that I can't work.

  PS the QuickStarts, open fast images, the image moves in its quick window and I don't have any noticeable lag in the menus. If I try to resize a picture window that it lags horribly. If I shoot fast (do a quick doodle with my wacom) it lag (in same goes for the selection tool, tool gum etc.). If I try to change tools quickly (with hotkeys) it lag/forget my request for a selection tool.

  I read a little on this issue and it seems that all the people who have this experience can not solve that, in order to return to a previous version of the PS and wait for a fix.

  My problem is that going back to an older version of PS does not solve my problems. It is the same for all versions of PS

  I tried all work autour patches people have developed (off the rulers, disable GPU etc.), but none of them works for me.

  I guess it has to do with the Win 10 update, but I have no data to back this up.

  All my PS versions are 'clean' install, which means no plug-ins 3rd third and not other fonts which comes pre-installed.

• How to revert to the previous version. Last update makes the new windows appear less of a complete new window should appear.

  I have my system tell me when a new update is available. Happened today. I downloaded the latest update. My Firefox now sits at 38.0.1.

  I use no legs. I want a new separate window for all that I opened. Since the upgrade this morning... when I open a new window, it is fine. But when I click on something in that window when a new opens up and it doesn't seem to be an entirely new window. There is no tool bar and it doesn't seem to be a way to have displayed toolbars. So I have no control over this new window except to reduce to a minimum or nearby. That's all. It does not appear as a tab either.

  It sucks! This was?

  How to return to the previous version before upgrading this morning? Otherwise I'll have to find another application to use other than Firefox, because I don't like it at all.

  Another solution is to modify some hidden settings related to windows dialog style. Should not you make changes to the way you use Firefox, but sometimes you need to enlarge some small pop-up windows that have been sized for a window with no toolbar displayed.

  Here are the steps:

  (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

  (2) in the search above the list box, type or paste feat and make a pause so that the list is filtered

  (3) for each preference that begins with dom.disable_window_open_feature. , if it is not 'true', double-click it to true.

  You may find that you prefer this anyway, given that sites can band is more these pop-up windows features.

• How can I prevent that updates firefox itself to the next version?

  I would like to prevent firefox from the upgrade to the next version, as in the past all my addons including greasemonkey disappeared, and it was very painful retrieve the settings.

  Here's what to do:

  1. Click on "Firefox" > 'Options' > 'Options' or 'Tools' > 'Options' If you do not have the Firefox button
  2. Click on the "Advanced" section/tab
  3. Click on the tab "Update".
  4. Select "never check for updates" and click on the 'OK' button to complete

• Question about graphics card driver updates on Satellite U300 series

  I am installing Spyder2 Pro on Vista Home premium 32-bit, but I have problems with this load in CS2. I contacted Colorvision and they suggested that if the video card is more than 6 months old I would need the last update. I searched toshiba/intel Web sites and could not update, when I download and try to install it I have the version more up-to-date, which is 7.14.10.1263.

• Satellite C855 - 2M 1 - AMD graphics driver automatically update problems

  I have a Satellite C855 - 2M 1 and installed windows 8.1.

  I installed the first upgrade of the video driver from Windows update (WDDM 1.2 02/11/2013 9.12.8.0)
  and it works well.

  Lately on windows update has been released a new driver (Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. - Graphics)
  Adapter WDDM1.3 - AMD Radeon HD 7500/7600 Series)
  I tried to update the driver but when windows restarts it does not load the driver and restore the old.

  I tried to manually uninstall the driver and updated, but it fails.

  Any help on this would be much appreciated.

  To be honest I m not very well why the autopilot GPU update could not complete successfully, but I guess that the update is not out for the AMD Radeon HD7610M, which is built into the laptop.

  I also read a discussion on this issue in the Microsoft forum, and it seems that there are other people having exactly the same problem with this update.
