Thank you

Hi Ralph51,

Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support. I understand that you would like to know if you can print from your iPad to your printer Deskjet 882c.

I've included the document on the Part of your printer on a network with Apple AirPort . It would be the only option available to print from your iPad.

    Hello

    Maybe this can help.

Win7 when configured on the peer-to-peer network has three types of configurations of sharing.

Homegroup = only works between Win 7 computers. This type of configuration, it is very easy to entry level users to start sharing network.

Network of home or work = fundamentally similar (and better) to the previous Working Group sharing methods which allow you to control what, how and to whom the records would be shared with.

    Public share
= network Public (as Internet Café) in order to reduce security risks.

To get best results connect to each computer system screen and set all the computers to be on a bearing the same name of Working Group , while each computer has its own unique name.

Make sure that the software firewall, AV, or other security components allow free local traffic on all network computers. If you use the 3rd group of security, firewall native Vista/XP must be disabled, and the active firewall has adjusted to your network numbers IP on what is sometimes called the Zone of confidence (see part 3 firewall instructions

    General example, http://www.ezlan.net/faq.html#trusted
Please Note that some 3rd party software firewall/AV/security costumes continue to block aspects of the Local traffic even it they are off (off).
If possible, configure the firewall correctly or completely uninstall to allow a clean flow of local network traffic.

If you end up with the 3rd party software uninstalled or disabled, make sure that Windows native firewall is active .

    -----------------

Network Win 7 with another version of Windows as a work network (works very well if all computers are Win 7 also).

In the center of the network, by clicking on the type of network opens the window to the right.

Choose your network type. Note the check box at the bottom and check/uncheck depending on your needs.

When you have finished the configuration of the system, it is recommended to restart everything the router and all computers involved.

    -------------

If you have permission and security issues with Vista/Win7, check the following settings.

Point to a folder that wants to share do right click and choose Properties.

    In the properties

Click on the Security tab shown in the bellows of the photo on the right) and verify that users and their permissions (see photo below Centre and left) are configured correctly. Then do the same for the authorization tab.

This screen shot is to Win 7, Vista menus are similar.

    http://www.ezlan.NET/Win7/permission-security.jpg

The Security Panel and the authorization Panel, you need to highlight each user/group and consider that the authorization controls are verified correctly.

When everything is OK, restart the network (router and computer).

    * Note . The groups and users listed in the screen-shoot are just an example. Your list will focus on how your system is configured.

    * Note . All the users who are allowed to share need to have an account onall computers that they are allowed to connect to.

Everyone is an account, that means a group of all users who already have an account now as users. It is available to avoid the need to configure permission for each on its own, it does not mean all those who feel that they would like to connect.

  • V40 HP on office xp and is shared via the wireless network. laptop with windows 7 will not be printed on v40.

Cannot print from laptop (windows 7) via the wireless router desktop (windows xp) with attached usb HP v40 .for all-in-one.

    (7) - wireless laptop router - desktop (xp) - usb - HPv40

Has worked for laptop is running xp.

Laptop of the coils of print job at the office and apparently complete, but the bureau simply ignores the print job.

    No error message.

    printing from office very well.

I reported this as resolved. I submitted this problem. The problem started when the update of my laptop computer from Windows XP to Windows 7. When I did, the Lexmark printer to my desktop worked find with the new system of the laptop. The HP V40 has failed. The Office has just received each print job submitted from the laptop (via a local wireless network) and scrapped it. I could see the print job come in the V40 print queue and could disappear.

Here's what I did to solve the problem:

I tried a dozen or so combinations of withdrawal and installing the printer on my Windows 7 laptop and my Office Windowx XP (with the V40 attached via USB) and manually removing and installation of printer drivers on my desktop PC, it works finally. What have I done? I have no idea, but I think that deleting manually pilots v40 on the office was part of the solution. While view printers available on my XP desktop computer, I clicked on file and one of the tabs has led me to a place where I could remove the drivers for each printer (I just removed them for the V40).

    Here's what I DIDN'T DO:

I'm not following the advice of the HP support person I contacted by phone. This Board had to reinstall Windows XP on my desktop. That clearly was not the problem when I talked to him. But he would NOT listen to reason. Luckily I have enough knowledge to know PC than its low of false tips

I am pleased with the resultant availability of the V40 again.

I have no idea how to officially close this problem.

I would be happy to discuss with someone else who has a similar problem, but when I submitted this problem with my name and email address, the moderator has deleted my presentation of the problem. Therefore, I think that all those who want to know more is out of luck.

  • Cannot print the Vista Home Premium laptop on printer Epson Workforce 610 wireless

Tried to implement printing wireless since our Toshiba laptop under Vista Home Premium to an Epson Workforce 610 printer.

I have already implemented printing wireless this printer to my desktop under XP Home SP3 without problem and continue to be able to print from there.

I went round and round with Epson.  They helped me get the printer configured on the laptop, but because the printer is working from the office, they say that it is no longer their problem.

    Here's what I know:
-Wireless running on a Belkin Wireless G router, model #F5D7230-4, v.6xxx, with the firmware update.
-L' laptop and printer are both connected to the same secure wireless network.  IP addresses all look OK, and I can see all devices when I look at the settings of the router.
-I am running Trend Micro Internet Security 2009, but I turned it off.
    -Windows Firewall is also disabled.
-I can print via the wireless router if the laptop is connected directly to the router.
-No, I can't print from the laptop to the printer if the laptop is connected to the wireless network.

I think there are some settings or configuration of Vista which is at the origin of the problem.  I looked the likely candidates in the properties of the printer and in the center of network & share, but I don't know enough about Windows or Vista to really know what to do.  Anyone has any ideas on this?

    Hello

My suggestion would be to update the firmware on the router and wireless adapter first.

  • Connect the new iPad Pro for USB printer

Do I need a special cable or a Hub to connect these 2 elements.

You cannot connect via USB to your iPad, it will not be recognized. Is the printer compatible wifi?

If the printer supports AirPrint, you can use your wifi network to print on it: on AirPrint - Apple Support

If it isn't, some printer manufacturers have their own applications in the App Store to print their via wifi, or there are third party printer applications in the App Store that could work with him.

If the printer is not compatible wifi, you could (I have not tried) able to connect it to a computer and print to it via who (for example print via an app on the iPad that sends the print job to/through the computer)

Hey there. AirPrint works in Wifi and not by a cellular network. Make sure that your printer and iPad are both connected to the same wireless network.

Check out this link: printing from an iPad that will give you training on the different applications available to print from your iPad and how they work.

See also: "the printer is not found", "no printer not Found" or "printer offline" Message appears on the iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch this will help you to solve the problem more in depth. Just make sure that you two devices (printer and iPad) are connected on the same wireless network. Also, make sure that Bluetooth is disabled when you try to AirPrint. Bluetooth has a tendency to interfere.

Hope this helps and post back if you have problems to make it work.
